Mozun took Wu Xingyun’s hand, lowly humming a song, a smile curving the corners of his mouth. Occasionally sneaking a glance at Wu Xingyun, Mozun felt extremely satisfied and happy whenever Wu Xingyun’s eyes met his.
The two of them walked slowly. According the Federal calendar, it was the month of May, when most planets would be entering a hot summer, yet Yuanxing was in cool autumn.
Leaves on the both sides of street were yellowed by the fall breezes. When the wind blew, the leaves fluttered down, filling the air.
When they reached Mozun’s house, Mozun unexpectedly stopped. Wu Xingyun looked at Mozun puzzled, asking: “What’s the matter?”
Mozun drew Wu Xingyun into his arms, whispering with a soft voice into Wu Xingyun’s ear: “The honeymoon is over, tonight……Sleep with me.”
Wu Xingyun froze: “Huh?”
Bowing his head, Mozun kissed the startled soldier, lightly licking, devouring, until they were deep in each other’s mouth, enticing.
Feeling a little wooden, Wu Xingyun was held tightly by Mozun, who was exuding love and enthusiasm. Finally, Wu Xingyun admitted it to himself. He didn’t dislike this.
He didn’t respond to Mozun, but he didn’t refuse either. Smelling Mozun’s unique scent, a burst of confusion coming over Wu Xingyun.
Out of the blue, he remembered Shi Fei’s words: “If the other side’s requests are strong and sincere, you decide for yourself.”
“Do you like me?” Mozun ended the kissing, asking his question in a low voice.
Wu Xingyun didn’t know. He couldn’t say whether he liked Mozun or not. He just felt that it wasn’t too difficult to accept Mozun’s further requests.
Although Mozun didn’t get his desired answer, he didn’t care much. Still smiling, he said: “It doesn’t matter, anyway……I really like you. You’ll live here all the time. There’s plenty of time, that I like you is enough.”
Lowering his head a little, Wu Xingyun considered for a moment, then said: “I can’t say if I do or do not like you, I haven’t thought about it. I……can accept your request for sex.”
Mozun suddenly picked up Wu Xingyun, spun them in a circle, then grabbed Wu Xingyun’s hand and sped towards the house.

Wu Xingyun, panting, didn’t pay much attention to whoever it was, but Mozun became on guard.
The shadow became a man dressed in white, long silver hair flowing, with an exquisite face, as if carved by God. Perfect, rare beauty, only the eyebrows furrowing with faint hesitancy.
Surprised by the unexpected visitor, Mozun rubbed his forehead: “How are you? When did you come and what do you need?”
Wu Xingyun finally registered Liu Meng’s presence, though Liu Meng paid no attention to Wu Xingyun. Instead Liu Meng stared at Mozun, saying a peaceful voice: “Since the day you left, I’ve been here waiting for you. I thought you’d be back after a day. I didn’t think you’d be out for more than half a month.”
Mozun’s hand was still pulling at Wu Xingyun’s, dissatisfied that someone was disturbing his impending conjugal enjoyment, and Mozun’s voice rang a little impatiently: “I have something to do now, if it’s nothing urgent, we’ll talk tomorrow!”
After saying that, Mozun pushed the front door open, ready to yank Wu Xingyun inside. However, Liu Meng sneered coldly behind them. “Busy with what? Busy sleeping with your new flame?”
His feet stopping in their tracks, Mozun turned back around, glaring at Liu Meng with murderous eyes.
Liu Meng’s mouth curled up with traces of derision. “What, am I wrong? You should see what you look like right now! I’ve been here waiting for you, and you didn’t even sense it. When did your perceptions become so bad?”
Mozun frowned. “Get out of here, before I get angry!”
Not backing down, Liu Meng took a step forward, standing right in front of Mozun. “Did you fall in love with him?” Liu Meng asked, pointing at Wu Xingyun.
Mozun didn’t speak, slowly releasing Wu Xingyun’s hand. Next he tucked his own hand in a pocket.
At that moment, Wu Xingyun’s heart couldn’t help feeling disappointed. He raised his head a little, glancing between Liu Meng and Mozun.
Liu Meng’s expression was mocking, while Mozun’s anger was shifting to uneasiness, like someone caught in the act of adultery.
Wu Xingyun thought ‘oh’ to himself. Saying nothing, he turned and went into the house. He thought Mozun might follow him, yet no such thing happened. The door closed behind him, Liu Meng’s reproachful voice faintly audible.
“In spite of everything, you’re going along with the Federal people? Are you worthy of the rest of us?”
“You’ve forgotten the past, forgotten your own promise……”
“You’re so slow you didn’t even sense my presence, and you still don’t admit you’ve ceased your fidelity?”
“You……Sex-crazed bastard!”
“If you fall in love with him, I won’t forgive you, never!”
Wu Xingyun sat at his desk. He could see out the window, observing what was happening on the lawn outside. Liu Meng had his back turned, so Wu Xingyun couldn’t detect his expressions. But Wu Xingyun could clearly discern Mozun’s.

Mozun’s feet stopped in front of Wu Xingyun’s bedroom door. The voice was no longer tender, but indifferent: “The honeymoon is over. The videos already shot should last the Federation for a few years. I will be busy in the future, I won’t have time to do these boring things with you.”
Wu Xingyun still didn’t turn around. He just calmly said: “Good.”
Mozun stood at the door for a while, then walked a couple of steps away, only to return: “I have something to go do tonight. I’m not coming back.”
His voice remaining tranquil, Wu Xingyun replied: “Alright.”
When he’d heard Mozun go down the stairs, Wu Xingyun opened his curtain back up to see Liu Meng and Mozun leave together, not looking back once.
Drawing the curtain, Wu Xingyun tidied his room. When he caught himself in the mirror, the person reflected back didn’t seem very happy.
Wu Xingyun made himself smile and laugh, until the glass image finally brightened up.
Time to turn off the lights and sleep.
He pulled up his quilt, lying on the bed, and when he closed his eyes, the Mozun from about an hour ago appeared before him, saying affectionately: “It doesn’t matter, I really like you. You’ll live here all the time. There’s plenty of time, that I like you is enough.”
Wu Xingyun turned over, feeling irritable. He detected something buzzing, so he climbed out of bed, turning the light on to see it was a mosquito.
Finding the bug kept Wu Xingyun busy for a while, until he eventually he crushed it. Getting back into bed, Wu Xingyun felt even more jittery.
He tossed around, flipping back and forth like a pancake, unable to sleep.
In the end, he got up again, dressed, retrieved his gun, and went the training ground. When he’d gone through a few boxes of ammunition, he no longer felt as fidgety.
He slept with his icy rifle, the touch of the cold metal calming his heart. Mozun’s face didn’t appear again, and Wu Xingyun soon fell asleep.
