DPM Chapter 27-Honeymoon Part 1
Translated by Snowfall77

Early the next morning, Wu Xingyun drew Mozun along, conscious of continuing his shooting videos mission.

Peng Dawei had long been waiting in the living room downstairs, adorned in a more artsy outfit, no less than ten nose rings jabbed in his nose, twenty rings on his ten fingers, and a camera perched on his shoulder. Wu Xingyun recognized the camera as the latest Federal product, wondering if Peng Dawei had got it through a black market deal or as spoils of war.

Mozun was wearing a set of pure black robes, his long, dark hair tied back, showing his slender form, with a demonically wild charm, quite in line with the Federation’s image of him.

In contrast, Wu Xingyun looked utterly ordinary in his Federation uniform, all buttons and buckles meticulously fastened, hat on his head perfectly aligned.

The three set out together, first circling the city, then posing for some pictures at the Federal base. Immediately after that, Mozun caught a few of Yuanxing’s primitive animals, similar to red deer, heads sporting a horn. Wu Xingyun and Mozun rode together, galloping through the vast grasslands, clouds above refracting multi-colored rays of light. Peng Dawei, losing no time, caught it all with his camera.

That night, the trio stayed in the wild, camped by a stream. Not wanting to be a third wheel, Peng Dawei stayed far away from the other two. Wu Xingyun, for his part, made a fire, then leaning against a tree, soon fell asleep.

Mozun stayed by Wu Xingyun’s side. When he saw that the dozing Wu Xingyun seemed a little cold, Mozun took off his robe, draping it over Wu Xingyun. Seeing Wu Xingyun’s slightly raised, full lips up close, Mozun didn’t hold back, but bent over and softly kissed them.
Wu Xingyun was a little confused in his dream. He blurrily opened his eyes, found that the person harassing him was Mozun, and let it go.

Half-holding Wu Xingyun in his arms, Mozun felt their body heat warming each other, Wu Xingyun’s breathing steady and even. Tenderness filled Mozun’s heart. At that moment, he forgot all about the betrayals, the injuries, the massacres, the long war that had taken place.

The meteor stream passed by overhead, yet Mozun didn’t take advantage of the opportunity to practice his martial arts. Instead, he cradled the sleeping Wu Xingyun, simply looking up at the evening sky.

Meteorites flowing in the atmosphere reflected the gleam of the stars, like thousands of crystals flickering, flying, jumping, drawing elliptical orbits, then fleeing away, shining in the night on two people embracing.

Mozun bowed his head slightly, resting his chin on the top of Wu Xingyun’s head. His soldier’s short, thick hair had a special tactile sensation, slightly coarse, but offering the greatest psychological comfort.

Unable to help himself, Mozun kissed Wu Xingyun’s head. A gesture full of craving, the short hairs stinging Mozun’s upper lip. As his whole being grew mushier by the minute, Mozun kissed a few more times, until Wu Xingyun, eyes still closed, muttered: “Don’t kiss me all the time, I won’t be able to rest.”

“Hmmm,” went Mozun, his arms slightly tightening around Wu Xingyun. But, acceding to Wu Xingyun’s wishes, Mozun stopped kissing.

Originally, Wu Xingyun had only intended for his shooting outing with Mozun to last a day. It was unexpected that Mozun took Wu Xingyun to travel almost the entire planet.

They crossed pristine, primeval forests, into deserts, walked through great plains of grassland, saw the polar glaciers, and the surging, magnificent ocean.

Mozun found that Wu Xingyun, unsmiling at the beginning, gradually become bright and cheerful. Whenever Mozun saw Wu Xingyun’s gleaming grin, Mozun felt almost dizzy. Like that moment, in the thousands of years of a long life, was the most happy , the most blessed.

One day, two people came to a huge, rumbling waterfall at a oceanside cliff. They stood on the precipice, gazing at heaven and earth, a seemingly limitless expanse.

Clear water flowed around their feet, plunging to the ocean with the roar of thunder. In the distance, birds flew, their clear cries circling the globe. Like a beautiful picture, frozen forever.

Mozun turned his head and observed the man standing beside him. The man’s face was filled with an intoxicating smile. Looking into his eyes was like seeing directly into his heart, as the gentle gold and coral sunset spilled over his body. To Mozun, the man was infinitely beautiful.

When Mozun reached out to seize his soldier’s waist, Wu Xingyun did not resist. He’d already long gotten used to Mozun’s actions.
Cooperatively, Wu Xingyun moved his feet, so that the two people could appear more intimate.

Mozun wanted to kiss Wu Xingyun, but was afraid of destroying the lovely atmosphere. He didn’t dare do it abruptly. So he contented himself with admiring Wu Xingyun, while Wu Xingyun took in the distant views, enjoying the dazzling scenery.

Behind them, Peng Dawei took the opportunity to take a picture.

The colors of the photo were blurred and dreamy. A cold man with black hair, eyes full of tenderness, staring at his lover, unchanging for eternity.

“Wu Xingyun, do you like this place? Would you like to live here with me forever?” Mozun asked quietly.

Wu Xingyun suddenly turned to face Mozun: “Living with you is my task. I don’t have the right to pick and choose my missions.”

Thus Wu Xingyun utterly obliterated the mood with his words. Mozun roughly rubbed Wu Xingyun’s thick skull, then finished venting by giving the soldier an irritated punch.

Standing on the edge of the cliff, and getting directly hit by Mozun, Wu Xingyun cried: “Ahhh—!”

With a great splash, Wu Xingyun fell from the waterfall into the ocean. He clamped his mouth shut and started swimming. When he broke the surface, he saw Mozun crouched at the top of the cliff, heartily laughing at him.

The black-clad man smiled smugly, to Wu Xingyun’s considerable unhappiness. Wu Xingyun had to struggle to curse and scold, which only made Mozun even more amused.

Wu Xingyun silently thought to himself that Mozun was a moody, hard to fathom guy.

The three men returned to civilization. First going by the Federal base to drop off the video, they crossed the crater, and arrived back at the mutant city.
