Dean followed Gilet and not long after the 2 of them were already at the pond where Dean was thrown earlier today, with the sun about to set making the surrounding have a beautiful color. As the two of them stood there Gilet turn around and faced Dean.
"Sit down kid." Offering the seat after he sat down himself Gilet started rummaging from his sleeves and took out a transparent crystal, tossing it to Dean he said "Don't panic or act like that kid, that's only an affinity checker crystal no worries you do know what an affinity checker crystal right?"
Dean nodded his head and said "So you want me to insert my heavenly qi here in order to determine the affinity of my elements am I right?" Fiddling with the crystal on his hands Dean place his chin above his palms and added "What does this have to keeping my job?"
"You don't have to worry about that kid, I only want to confirm your elemental affinity in order to know what it is, and it will not harm you or anything so just do it kid." Gilet still held that playful smile on his face when he said those words.
Affinity Crystal, an item use by people in order to determine the bloodlines that they have in their body, although the bloodline of the person will determine what element that person will have some mutation still happens and some people do not even know what their bloodline was so they will go and take an affinity checker crystal in order to confirmed what they have.
This kind of crystal do not have any heavenly qi inside them so they are cheap in the market, but because they were hallowed up inside they are the perfect thing to check the element that the heavenly qi will be attracted to it, hence it became an affinity element checker for the people of the continent.
"Come on just do it, I don't have all day, if you don't do it now I will force you to." Gilet urge him, with a little pinch of threat in between there.
Dean gave him a look of wariness but he still did it, his heavenly qi was not pure so the color of his qi was different than the others. When Gilet saw this seen his originally smug face that he had all this time slowly and gradually fell flat until it became something comical.
The qi of Dean continuously flowed in the affinity checker crystal, his unique heavenly qi started flowing out of his body making Dean already had an elements in his body so he only had to make the two qi's flow into the crystal.
Grasping the crystal by his hands a purple colored qi started emerging in the crystal, upon seeing this purple colored qi Gilet raised his brows and started leaning forward to get a better look of it his expression was like someone that had shocked witless.
His smile that was on his face earlier slowly and gradually became a serious look, then as he leaned forward and his face starting to look ridiculous a flame suddenly ignited inside the crystal and the moment that this happen Gilet abruptly stood up.
"T-that's the Primal Chaotic Flames that is the primal chaotic flames, the f-flame that incinerates all." His voice was quivering as he started saying some things then as the other qi of Dean was about to flow in the crystal a crack appeared in the crystal before completely shattering to dust.
Gilet was startled by the sound of the affinity checker crystal, he started taking steps towards Dean and placed his hands on his shoulders and said "You're the one kid. Hahaha seems like my luck is still pretty good." His voice was starting to get excited, he didn't even realized that his hands was starting to emit pressure to Dean.
Dean stood there not moving, the pressure on his shoulders was heavy it made him feel like his shoulders had a mountain on top of it "Are you trying to flatten me?" He screamed to Gilet as he tried to move out of there.
Gilet realized his hands was actually applying pressure to Dean so he immediately got his hands off him when he saw Dean having a pained expression on his face and realizing how he just acted Gilet gave a dry cough 'Sorry about that, I was just trying to say that you will be the one that I chose from the rest, go back to your room you got the job."
Dean touched his shoulders, feeling out the pain on his muscles that he just got out of his body earlier Dean remained seated on the ground and said "What do you mean I got the job? Does that mean I get to keep my job as your helper, because if that's the thing then I will quit now."
Rubbing his own shoulders like he was in pain Dean suddenly said something that was contradictory he was wanting earlier, before he got here he was having a headache of how he will try to keep his job and now he was talking how he wanted to quit.
"Do you really think that I wanted to work here? I am only here because Miss Freya told me to go and you paid me in front yesterday, oh yeah here's your money now, I need to prepare for the enrollment next week, I don't want to stay here if I don't have anything to gain here." Dean started blathering all sorts of things while simultaneously throwing Gilet the coin pouch that was given to him yesterday as an early pay.
Hearing what Dean had just said Gilet suddenly stop from celebrating and started processing what he had just heard and when he did he look at Dean and said with a big smile "Of course not I wasn't planning on letting you remain here as a helper you know? Now that I know you have a flame element in you then you will get something huge."
"Just cut to the chase I have to find some items that I need in order to make my cultivation go faster, like I already said I have to prepare for the enrollment staying here wouldn't get me into the academy." Dean stood up and started walking away but was stopped by Gilet.
"Of course you can, it comes with the job I was talking about earlier, and well it's not even a job more like a title." Gilet saw the impatient look of Dean and said "Kid what do you say of becoming an artificer? The flame elements in your bloodline is special so you must have a high affinity to the flame elements, come and become an artificer."
Dean look at him and said "I know what you're going to say next, and if you say that I will earn money that will all be in the future and at the moment I will not become an artificer without reaching and becoming a caster that controls flames, and to do that I need resources and I don't have that."
"Of course you have just come and accept it, I will give you resources and anything that you would need in your future cultivation and as for the enrollment I have my ways for that to happen without taking the exams. Don't say anything anymore, if you want artifacts I will give it to you alright?" Gilet laid all of his benefits to Dean.
With an interested look Dean said "You haven't even said what I will be doing right?"
"Become my disciple Dean, and I will hone you to become an artificer." Gilet proclaimed what his Job will be then and there.
Which Dean responded with "Disciple greets Master." And bowed to Gilet
Gilet smiled but that smiled after hearing the next words of Dean "Master please take care of everything that you have said earlier and as for the gift that a master gives too his disciple when they first meet I would be looking forward to it." Dean left for his own room leaving Gilet there alone.
"Did I just promise things to him just like that?" He mumbled
