“Captain, are we leaving just like that?” the soldier couldn’t wait to ask as he got into the car. “I have been listening for a long time and could not obtain any information, how do we report back?”
They came with a task, but neither of them had completed it in the end.

“She did not leave the country.”
“You believed whatever she said?” The soldier did not start the engine. Holding the steering wheel with one hand, he was in disbelief, “Captain, you weren’t like this in the past.”
Even he could sense that Miss An was not being truthful, he did not believe that the wise captain could not see it.
“There really isn’t any record of her leaving the country.” Mu Chen Yuan tapped on the wheel, signalling the soldier to drive. He stared ahead indifferently with his dark eyes, the light reflected by the snow shone into his eyes. He asked the soldier in return, “What’s the situation with the An family?”
“Nothing much,” the soldier started the engine and left this wealthy area filled with villas. “I was planning to get into the An family, but the family had already collapsed.”
He went to the An family yesterday. In less than 24 hours, he witnessed its fall from grace. Without investigation, he knew it was Miss An’s doing.
