Syril's Point Of View--↓
I ran out into the tunnels, trying to ignore Jewel's voice trying to call me back here, as well as the sizzling of the dynamites and other flammable objects. I followed her scent, but it was covered over the smoke of the flamming matches that had already devoured the dried up areas of this tunnel. Once I got close to Jewel's mom's scent, it was too late. I stared down at the once empty hole that apparently had been filled with Undead Creatures, I stared in disbelief of the ripped and messed up chunks and pieces of bones and flesh, teeth marks in the skull and clothes. The Undead fighting and rough housing for the what used-to-be body, now ripped chunks of flesh and visible bone. Even I almost gagged, my eyes watery in sadness and the throw up that stung to swallow down again. What snapped me out of the event was a explosion of the dynamite, I almost stagger forward into the pit, I then quickly ran out, trying to find my way back out again. The smoke choked me forcefully and I cough up blood and smoke, I tried covering my mouth and nose with my shirt but it was no use. I kept running, until I couldn't see, I lost myself in the twists and turns of the tunnels, I darted my gaze around. I saw more than two tunnels, it made me sick. I topple over, exhausted.
I heard the dynamite go off, the tunnels rattled and toppled over one by one, water getting eaten up by the flames that engulfed the place. "I'm sorry." I mutter before darkness took over my sight

Back In Jewel's Point Of View--↓
I saw a burst of flames and smoke puff out the Sewer hatch, my eyes widened "No!-" Jack held me back, I could tell he struggled to do so because he was also saddened. I let tears streak down my cheeks endlessly, Azure lets out a howl in pain and mourn.

We had sat there for hours on end, hearing explosions just mentally cracked my heart slowly like a vase, leaving my hopes lowered. Once the flames had finally died down into smoke, I moved the sewer hatch and ran in, Jack didn't stop me this time, instead he and Azure followed, I looked around.
I felt my calves burn, I didn't care. My body tired but I ignored it, I searched everywhere. Yet, nothing. I sigh, and slowed my pace, still searching. Once another hour passed, Jack yelled out "I think I found him!" I followed Jack's voice and I stared at a pile of rubble, but I smelled Syril under it. Me and Jack exchanged glances before digging out the rubble, rock, and concrete. It was big boulders over smaller ones, once we reached Syril's curled up body, it was covered in dust, smoke, scars, wounds, anything you could think of. But to be surprised, he was all in one piece. I started tearing up again once I hugged him, because of the smoke and his limp body. I bury my face into his shoulder, whispering "I should have came with you, I could've helped..Im sorry.." My hug constricted around his body.
"I love you.." I whispered, trembling. "I..Do too..-" I heard a voice say, I stared at Syril, like if he had two heads. For a moment, everything was silent. Until Syril opened his eyes, giving the weakest smile he could at least muster up. I squeeze the life out of him, "Don't scare the living shit out of us again or else I fucking kill you myself-" I slowly let him go, he stood but was wobbly. Jack ruffled his hair and he chuckled. Azure couldn't stop barking in happiness. Syril sighed "I'm sorry I couldn't save your mom." He looked down in shame, I sigh and look down, slumping my shoulders. It was quiet for a few more minutes before I look back up with a slight smile "At least I have a new family.." Syril looked at me, before his face lightened. Before I could stop myself I had pulled Syril into a hug...And a kiss. He had tensed, but instantly softened and smiled. Jack chuckled and started playing around "Cover your eyes, children. Don't let them burn." I secretly kicked his leg then pull away, Syril's face and ears was red, he couldn't stop smiling. I chuckle and smile "C'mon, we need to get home before anything else happens."

Once we got home, burned, beaten and torn. Syril's dad had looked at us like we were crazy. "What happened to y'all three?" I smile slightly "We were -" Syril shrugged "Doing a science project and failed terribly, as you can see." his father looked at us with a suspicous gaze before turning back to the tv. We quickly went upstairs before we all sat in different places, Syril got up and went to his bathroom "I'm taking a shower." me and Jack sat in awkward before I stood and also went to the bathroom. Jack muttered "Don't do anything weird.." As I walked by I elbowed him in the stomach, he winced and chuckled, still under the influence of pain. I wiped my ashy face off with a warm rag and walked out. I went into a guess' room and sat there, before looking in the closet and locking the door, I sat there and cried. I don't know how long, but it definetely wasn't for a few minutes.

Once I gotten out the shower and had gotten dress with a normal yellow shirt and blue jeans I wondered out the bathroom and looked around "Where - where'd Jewel go?" Jack shrugged, I glare at him "Your helping so much." I mutter before going outside and trying to listen for Jewel, I heard her but the walls covered some of what was happening. I found her in the guess room's closet, but it was locked. I heard Jewel sniffling, she was crying but trying to stifle it. I sigh and lean on the door before knocking gently, the crying stopped and before even I could react Jewel was hugging me. Still sad about her mom's death, I presume. I hug back, trying to calm her down. "It's ok." I let out with a sigh "It'll all be ok soon."
