Returning to practice and acting things like were normal were difficult for him. Haruka really couldn't concentrate. His gaze flickered onto his girlfriend, 'need to a keep a better eye out on her,' he thought. After what happened, it's only natural for him to do so right?

His thoughts broke off when he found Misaki slid up beside him.

"What is it?"

"Have dinner with me tonight."

Haruka looked at her, dumbfounded, "Didn't you say you were taken already?"

Misaki sighed, "Not that kind of dinner. I have a proposal for Lila. You're her manager, right? Come with her tonight to discuss things."

"Right," Haruka nodded slowly before he realized something, "Her schedule is full."

"I know that. But Lila will want this, believe me."

A job Lila wants? It's hard to guess with just that information alone.

"Are you treasuring her properly? Kiryu seems very worried about her recently."

Is that why he keeps lurking around her? Haruka deeply sighed. Treasuring her properly, huh? He felt awkward whenever somebody asked him such questions. What does it mean to cherish another person? Is there an actual concrete definition for it?

"I hope I am," Haruka looked at Lila, and his gaze softened, "Well our relationships changed, so I certainly hope I'm doing things properly."

"I heard about the marriage thing; your lucky Jae-hee hasn't blabbed. Everybody in the company knows."

That was fast. But then again Zane probably issued that warning so other girls won't approach him. Not that it would stop them in the long run. Still, the fact that he did it made him think. Haruka pulled out a cigarette and reached for his pocket before he remembered something. 'Lila took his lighter,' she saw him smoke earlier and told him that he could smoke after sex but other than control him.

Misaki noticed and extended her hand out, "Use mine."

"Thanks," he murmured and took it from her. "Smoking helps me calm down."

"I know, even though nicotine isn't good. For people like us, we need to smoke."

Haruka nodded.

Lila eventually noticed since she strolled over, with puffy cheeks, she pointed to the cigarette, "Give it to me."

"Babe, seriously," Haruka trailed off, "You know it's not possible for me to stop."

"I've heard this excuse before."

Despite those vague words, Haruka understood what she meant. Lila is referring to Austin Kiryu. While the man still smokes, he seldom does it anymore. When Lila still thought Austin Kiryu was smoking, she didn't nag him so much. But now?

Haruka walked over and pulled Lila into his arms; he brushed his lips against her ear, "Babe, come on," while he temporarily removed the cigarette from his mouth, he still held it in his hands.

"N---no, you won't bribe me. " Lila stammered, "You've already had way too many today."

Tsk, bribes aren't going to work on her? Then, Haruka wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her.

"Nngh?!"

After a few minutes, he eventually let her go, but Lila shyly tugged on his shirt, "My legs are wobbly, don't let me go yet."

Haruka laughed, 'So adorable.'

"Haruka, do you have to smoke all the time?"

"Well," Haruka nodded, "Yeah. You already know that I've gotten used to, well it's more like an addiction now."

"But what if you get lung cancer? It's not good for your throat Haruka."

"Relax babe; nothing will happen to my voice. I can still seduce you."

Lila hit his chest, "Stupid, that's not it," she deeply sighed, "Well it's not like I don't know. You say you've accepted my terms but go off to smoke elsewhere."

His sweat fell, so she knew about that?

Haruka doesn't have time to reply when he hears coughing. Oops, he forgot about Misaki.

"The nerve of you two to just forget me."

Lila laughed, "I'm sorry, Misaki-san, I'm just worried about Haruka."

"Forget him, worry about Jae-hee more she smokes the most out of the three of us."

"I already scolded her!" Lila said happily.

Did she scold Jae-hee? That probably didn't end up well. Jae-hee is addicted to cigarettes. Still, he finds it cute when Lila is trying her best at something.

.....

5:00 PM

Work surprisingly finished early, at least for him anyway. Lila insisted on staying behind to practice more. When he saw Jae-hee and Kogami there too, Haruka immediately understood. Those two dance monsters better not have made some stupid bet and dragged Lila into this. His thoughts broke off when he spotted silver hair in the tattoo parlor he was about to enter.

Isn't that Austin Kiryu? Crap, it seems like he will keep running into him. Haruka sighed, but he has to go to that tattoo parlor too. After much debate, Haruka decided just to head inside.

"Oh welcom--," the shopkeeper paused, "I have the shield ready."

Haruka sighed, "Quit fooling around, man."

This man is his companion Riku, while they weren't exactly friends. He was one of the few people that Haruka could tolerate.

"Austin Kiryu just came here, so I'm getting my weapons ready for the fight."

"What fight? We patent going to fight."

"Huh, so the rumors about you two fighting whenever you see each other is wrong?"

Of course, that's wrong, "Get me a seat next to him. I need to speak with him."

Riku nodded, and in a few minutes, Haruka was lead to the same section as Austin Kiryu. The man didn't notice him at first, but when he mentioned, "Lila."

Kiryu turned his head.

"Karashima."

Haruka nodded, "Can we talk?"

"Alright."

"About earlier," Haruka said slowly, "You don't have to worry. We were not always like that."

A deep sigh passed Kiryu's lips, "Don't explain it; it's making me cringe."

"Sorry."

"You know Karashima. It's not like I don't understand it. I flaunted my relationship with Lila when you came to see her last year, and I pretended that I didn't know you. I'm equally a bad person," Kiryu muttered, "So I do understand why you want to show off. It's normal."

Haruka wanted to curse. Why is this guy so understanding even now? "That's what annoys me about you, why don't you just say what you really thinking?" It's clear to him that Kiryu is trying to be polite. But what's the point when they are love rivals?

Kiryu shook his head, "You want me to curse at you openly now?"

Openly, "So you do it behind my back."

"Inside my head, I curse you over and over, but I realize there's no need to do that. Lila picked you after all. If that's her final decision, I can't change it."

"Not going to fight for her?"

"If I am, that's between her and me."

Again he's annoying. But it's true that if Austin Kiryu pursued Lila again openly. He had no say on the matter whatsoever. He maybe Lila's husband, but only a selected amount of people knew that. Haruka wanted to broadcast it to the rest of the world. However, he didn't want to trouble Lila over it now. Lila did this to protect him, and she will most likely make the arrangements to announce it herself in due time. It's his job to be patient.

After a few minutes, they hear the chime indicating somebody else just entered. "Excuse me," a familiar feminine voice called out. Haruka turned to the source, and his eyes widened. There stood none other than his girlfriend no his wife, Terashima Lila.

"There you are!"

Was she looking for Austin Kiryu? As Haruka said this, the girl rushed over and hugged him, "Haruka!"

"Hey," he greeted, "Jae-her told you I'd be here?"

"En, she said that one of your tattoos looked faded and it was high time you'd come here. But um," Lila took a sideways glance at Kiryu, "I didn't think I'd see you two together," she seemed puzzled. "Is Kiryu going to be my rival after all?"

His eyes twitched in annoyance and Haruka reached over and pinched her cheeks, "What rival, I'm all yours. Stop implying odd things," he paused, "Why are you here?"

Lila laughed, "I thought we could do some shopping before we head to dinner?"

"Right, we do need a few things. I'll finish up here quickly," he looked around at the parlor. There was a seat for guests, but if she sat all the way over there, guys would most likely flirt with her.

"Riku, bring a chair here."

"Yes, yes right a-- woahhh! Terashima Lila in the flesh," Riku exclaimed.

If people didn't notice Lila earlier, they did now. Damn, stupid Riku. Haruka glared at him, and Riku sweat fell, "Right, right, let's get an exclusive chair for your girlfriend."

"Wife."

"Dude..."

Haruka continued to glare, and Riku sighed, "Your wife."

"Mm," Haruka turned to the girl in his arms who was laughing, "What's so funny?"

"Haruka, you're so silly, you know?"

Sully or whatever, he just wants to clarify things. He hears coughing, and Haruka looked over at the seat beside him.

Oops, he forgot about Austin Kiryu. Haruka removed Lila from his arms and Lila pouted, "Weren't we hugging? I liked it. Why did you let go?"

Hey, hey Austin Kiryu is here.

Kiryu sighed, "So you want to flaunt your relationship after all?"

Haruka didn't know who he was addressing him or Lila. But Lila is the one who responded, "What's wrong with flaunting? It gets rid of all the pests."

"..."

His dear wife, what on earth is she saying?

Kiryu's eyes twitched in annoyance, "I see, and it doesn't matter to you if I get upset?"

"Well, Kiryu you're the one who taught me that it's better to express your love out in the open than hide it. I'm just following what you said."

"Don't do it in front of me."

"You're so petty."

Haruka frowned, now they are forgetting about him. Lila clung to his arm, "Anyway, there's nothing wrong with us flaunting. And didn't you tell me you'd try to snatch me back? Try it! I dare you."

What kind of stupid bet is that? But Austin Kiryu declared that already? How come he didn't hear about it? Did Lila intentionally hide it? No, she wouldn't do that.
