How can he ask such things with a straight face? Sure this whole scent fetish thing of hers only appears whenever they get intimate. But even then, it's way too much.

"It seems I have my answer."

Lila wanted to protest, but he quickly changed the topic.

"By the way, I had a look at the setlist, but don't you think it's too much for you?" Haruka asked.

Lila nodded, "Well, I won't lie there. But it's the first time I've ever had to hold a concert this long, what's more by myself. I want to try."

That and she wanted to emit it, that radiating sunshine aura combined with the moon.

"Princess, don't overwork yourself."

Quite some time has passed since she last heard this nickname from Haruka. But Lila had to admit that she liked it.

"I won't."

"I find that hard to believe," Haruka looked at her skeptically.

"Then what do you want me to do to prove it?"

"Kiss me again, make it a long one."

His request was a simple one, but even then. Lila glanced around, "But....how about if the others come over?"

"It's fine; they are busy."

"But ...actually, Kiryu is here and ..." Her sentence fell short when he gently caresses her hair. "Uh, I don't think.." He stopped her from saying more when he tightened his hold on her waist, pulling her closer to his chest.

"Let me have my way with you, Lila."

He said those words so tenderly that it caught her off guard. He kissed her firmly, and she immediately returned it. She kisses him back with so much passion. Her arms went around his broad shoulders, fingers curled around his neck. 'Kissing Haruka is addicting.' Lila didn't know what it was, but she preferred to kiss him.

Sure after everything he has done to her, liking his kisses more than anything is peculiar. However, Lila liked it a lot. The feeling of his lips on hers, his hands trailing along her thighs and him gradually touching her. Those small touches - only made her cling to him even more.

Haruka briefly lets her go, "Don't go, Lila."

"Haruka, I still have my concert preparations..."

"I'm not talking about that. I'll obviously let you do your job." Haruka nodded, "I'm your manager. Do you think I'd let you skip work?"

'That's true, but something is wrong here, right?' Lila observed his expression, but she couldn't tell what he was thinking at all. Whatever is going on in his head, it seems like she won't be able to catch him out. She felt his hand slid against her back, and she shuddered.

"You just have to stay with me now, for a few extra minutes."

She already knew her answer to that question. She shook her head again. Lila knew she couldn't; after all, she knew Haruka had no intention of holding back- not that she minded. But her gaze fell on Kiryu, who was fixing the hole in the ceiling, she felt as though it wouldn't be fair.

"Why not?" Haruka demanded.

It was right at that moment where she caught the look in his eyes. There is a reason why she avoided looking at him whenever they got like this. His piercing gaze seemed to stare into the very depth of her soul. Haruka didn't wait for a reply, so he kissed her slowly, and seemed to watch her reaction.

Right at that moment, Yori's voice fills the stadium.

"Lila! They said they are ready," Yori's voice echoed from the stage.

Lila jolted at the words and immediately looked over at the empty staircase. Thankfully, nobody was there.

The location of their seats was quite far from the stage. But even then, Lila felt paranoid. Her thoughts broke off when Haruka cupped her cheeks. Lila felt her heartbeat race against his chest and wanted nothing more than to look away. She knew he wanted an answer to his question, but Lila couldn't give it to him.

After a short time had passed, Lila shook her head. She felt his hold on her waist drop.

Lila knew that he was disappointed; she thought the same. Lila wanted to stay with him always, but, they both have important matters to attend to. Still, he must be upset. She doesn't like it when he is sad. Maybe she ought to make an exception this time around?

"Princess. Ssh, it's alright. I don't mind. How long is concert practice?"

"There's an hour left. Afterwards, I have a radio show, TV station, then a movie conference. A photoshoot and oh practice with Tenjou," Lila said.

Haruka entangled his fingers with hers and gave her a reassuring smile.

'So he's okay?' Lila wanted to observe his reaction a little longer. But she knew they had to get going. Lila spotted caramel-colored hair, and she pulled Haruka to his feet.

"Just a minute, Yori," Lila called out. "Like give us a few minutes."

Yori stopped going up the stairs then. The girl rolled her eyes when she saw Haruka. Lila could already imagine the comments on the way down. But she turned back to her husband, who wanted an answer.

"Before you ask. I won't be able to skip or anything. But I appreciate you coming here for me. Thank you," Lila thanked him. "I appreciate it since we're both busy."

While they have less workload now since they have to stay in the hospital, it felt like they still had a lot going on.

Haruka nodded; he reached over and moved a strand of loose hair from her face with his fingers.

"Even if worse comes to worst. Don't sing that song. Even if Kiryu breaks a limb or something."

Lila only smiled at those words.

"I'm serious, I'm worried."

Lila nodded and held her breath. Haruka got dangerously close to her face. So Lila knew what he wanted, so when he kissed her lightly, it didn't surprise her. It was a brief kiss, unlike the one from earlier, yet the warmth lingered there. Lila brushed her hands across his cheeks.

He seemed to be observing her hands. "They are small."

"Ah-huh, they are."

"But they are perfect."

Haruka placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, and a content sigh passed her lips. She wanted to stay with him for just a little while more.

"Lila! I can't stall them any longer," Yori called out.

He drew back as voices called out. "It looks like you better go."

"Yeah," Lila looked down dejected. She wanted nothing more than to take back her words and ask him to take her away. However, Lila knew he wouldn't agree now.

Haruka flicked her forehead, "Don't make that face. It's not like we won't see each other again."

"Be careful, okay?" Lila asked. "If you meet with Sophia, try not to.." she couldn't even say the words. She was very worried about him. "Maybe I should.."

"Hush wife, I will be okay."

"Are you sure?" Lila asked again.

A pained smile appeared on his face, and Lila clung to him tightly. "Hubby, I'll finish right away and go to you. I'll come flying."

"Mmm, alright. Thank you, my wife."
