Chapter 1.2

Some would say, [Get a lot of money, work less, and have a good boss!], you’ll think it’s not a job found in this world.

It’s a dream job. Even though you got accepted into such a place, you’re saying that you don’t want to go to work from the first day. Anyone who hears that will point a finger at you saying you are full of yourself.

To put it bluntly, I might swear at such a person!

Since I have a reason.

Actually, I am a foreigner and a possessed person.

In real life, this is usually impossible, but it is very common in media such as novels and manga.

If this is a novel and someone is reading it, by hearing the introduction, [Oh, this bastard! A modern person possesses a character while reading a fantasy novel? And I’m sure he’s not the main character since he’s an aide. He would say.]

That’s right, that was very accurate.

This is the reason why I am reluctant to go to work.

According to the novel I possessed, [Master of the Holy Sword], I can roughly summarize it this way.

Serpence loses his parents in an attack by a demon-worshiping group during his childhood, thus there is a setting that says he hates evil more than anyone else.

He ascended the dukedom at the young age of 15, but his natural skills solidified his position.

Now, 9 years have passed since then, Serpence is the best noble in name and reality, respected by alot of people. He wasn’t the only one though.

Serpence has a very honest and innocent personality, and is known for giving his own things to help the powerless.

In addition to that, he has genius swordsmanship skills that he’s been constantly honing since childhood!

He is known as the next ‘Master of the Holy Sword’ nominee, who you can’t find any flaws with.

Looking at the above description, it would be right to think [Oh, was that child the main character?], but sadly that is not the case.

Nominee means that’s what people in the novel thought.

He was not the one chosen by the Holy Sword though.

Why wouldn’t he be, isn’t he with a good setting?

God wouldn’t have chosen such a person as the master of the Holy Sword.

You might be wondering what kind of bullshit that is, but if you think about it carefully, it is simple.

Did you not notice the strange context so far?

So, he is not a character in that setting, but a character in a setting that ‘has such a setting’.

To help you understand, it was Serpence who killed his parents.

And for me this is the most important part.

According to the novel, Serpence had two aides in the past.

One was investigating something under Serpence’s orders, but he died at the hands of someone.

And the other one died in a carriage accident.

Serpence, who is said to have been saddened by the death of his aides, has not hired a new aide since then.

And there were two contradictions to the narrative related to Serpence.

First, is the setting where the aide ‘died’,  replace it with he ‘got killed’ and read it.

Second, the phrase ‘he’s known as’ is actually a bad joke.

It’s not an exaggeration, really!

I didn’t say ‘he has a setting for no reason’ or ‘I’ve known’ in exaggeration. This is the author’s official work!

“Hey~. But I’m the second aide, right?”

Ah! Every time serpence suddenly appeared, readers would say, ‘Suspense is up!’

I remember joking around with his name too.

It’s really suspenseful, please save me.
