The room arrangement finished during lunchtime. In order to let everyone have a sense of collective honor, everyone had to go to the restaurant on the fourth floor to eat together during the few days on the ship to cultivate their relationship.

“I will definitely suffer from indigestion when I eat in front of the Xiang family,” On the way to the fourth floor, Chu Yan dragged Qiao Zhiya to complain, his face full of disgust.

Qiao Zhiya honestly believed Chu Yan’s extreme words. He seriously said, “Don’t be afraid, I prepared some digestive aids. I will share half of them with you later.”

“…Thank you.” Chu Yan’s mouth twitched. Then, he patted Qiao Zhiya’s shoulder with a complicated mood.

‘He even prepared a digestive aid… so virtuous.’

When they arrived, there were quite a few people in the restaurant. Everyone was talking together in a group of twos and threes. On the surface, it seemed very harmonious and lively.

Seeing Chu Rong’s arrival, Lieutenant General Wei greeted him with a “kind” smile. Chu Rong frowned impatiently, and looked back at Chu Yan and Qiao Zhiya who were muttering together, and suppressed his impatience. He glanced at Fan Xiangnan, who immediately understood what the Marshal wanted. He stepped forward to block Lieutenant General Wei’s greetings, and took the initiative to lead him into the small group where other supervisors gathered.

Lieutenant General Wei was stunned for a moment by his rare cooperation. Thinking of Long Baorou, who was chatting with Chairman Ning, he smiled knowingly, and began to speak more “kindly”.

The supervisor group got together and backstabbed back and forth, leaving the juniors to fend for themselves in the restaurants.

——Now there was no live broadcast, there’s no need to pretend that everyone was “friends” to each other.

“Hey, there are actually snowflake fish. Qiao, try this. The climate of the Capital Planet is not suitable for the growth of snowflake fish, so I don’t usually eat this at home. I didn’t expect this to appear on the menu,” Chu Yan excitedly called Qiao Zhiya over, pointing to a plate of white fish. He also motioned him to pick up a few pieces.

“Hmph, bumpkin,” Xiang Kun, who just turned to this side, snorted coldly when he heard Chu Yan’s introduction. He looked at Qiao Zhiya, who was called over, with palpable disdain.

Wei Lan, the youngest child of the Wei family following behind him, followed suit and gave Qiao Zhiya a disdainful look.

‘What’s wrong?’

Chu Yan’s face darkened, and he was about to explode when he saw that Qiao Zhiya, who was being ridiculed, was not angry at all. Instead, Qiao Zhiya looked up at them back and forth, lowered his head and took out a black stone from his storage ring… and showed it off. That is, he showed how he could casually snap it in half, and throw it on the side of the snowflake fish’s plate. Then, he gave Xiang Kun a friendly smile, before continuing to eat his food.

Seeing this, Xiang Kun’s face froze with pure fear. He immediately remembered the horror he experienced during the final exam. He glared at him impatiently, and said angrily, “Don’t be arrogant! Isn’t it just more strength? What’s the use? I will take revenge on you for destroying my weapon sooner or later!” After finishing speaking, he stopped eating. He walked away angrily with Wei Lan, who was a little surprised by Qiao Zhiya’s strength.

“Hahahaha, look at how cowardly he is!!” Chu Yan taunted them unceremoniously, and happily moved to Qiao Zhiya’s side. He bumped him with his elbow, and said, “Hey, why did you come up with such a brilliant move? I almost threw the fork in my hand just now.”

Qiao Zhiya picked up the black stone and put it away, shook his head, and explained honestly, “This is not something I came up with.”

Chu Yan was stunned in confusion. “Then who came up with that? Xiangnan-ge?”

“No,” Qiao Zhiya shook his head. His ears twitched happily when he smelled the fish’s delicious fragrance, then he replied, “This idea is what Chu Rong said. He said that quarreling is the most useless and meaningless behavior, and don’t use your mouth to solve problems that can be solved with strength.”

Chu Yan shutted up, looked at Qiao Zhiya’s simple and contented appearance while eating fish, and wisely decided to leave it as is.

“Ge, what are you looking at?” You Yuanyuan, who looked ordinary among all the handsome men and beautiful women, gently tugged on her brother’s sleeve and asked in a low voice.

You Xia retracted his gaze, patted her on the head with a smile, and replied, “It’s nothing, Yuanyuan. Remember not to get too close to our cousin and let’s treat this as a vacation trip, understand?”

You Yuanyuan nodded. Her delicate eyebrows were furrowed, her eyes showed a bit of maturity that didn’t match her age. “I understand, our cousin’s heart is crooked. So I will keep a distance from her.”

On the other side, Ning Kongran also retracted his gaze, and looked at Ning Konghua and Ning Kongting who were deliberately talking together to isolate him. A faint hint of sarcasm flashed in his eyes, and he turned around and found a corner to sit down.

With the “prelude” that was Xiang Kun finding fault with Chu Yan and getting angry, the juniors all became honest. They all ate within their groups, and this lunch passed in a safe manner.

After the meal, Chu Rong was invited by Long Baorou to discuss some matters about the trip. While Chu Yan took this opportunity to go to Qiao Zhiya’s room. Before the blond youth went to attend his online class, Chu Yan took out a list and said, “Come on, knowing yourself and the enemy is the only way to win a hundred battles. I will bequeath this to you.”

Qiao Zhiya paused, his hand still clutching his helmet. He glanced at the time, and said, “I still have half an hour.”

Chu Yan rolled his eyes, patted him and said, “I can explain this in five minutes.”

—Simply put, there were 11 juniors that participated in this activity. The Xiang, Wei, Chu, You families each have 2 juniors; while the Ning family have 3 juniors, and they are all older – even the youngest, Ning Kongting, was already 19 years old.

Of all the 7 supervisors, there’s 2 from both the You family and the Xiang family, of which Long Baorou and Xiang Hui were not too old, so they must be here to make up the number. The Wei, Chu, and Ning families each had 1 member with a high standing.

“In addition to Xiang Kun, the Xiang family also has Xiang Jing, who is not very favored at home. She is Xiang Kun’s cousin1堂姐; tang jie, the female equivalent of tang ge, a third-year military academy student, and she is 22 years old. She has a good personality, so don’t be particularly wary of her. It’s Wei Xiongchang’s grandsons that you should keep an eye on: the older one is Wei Yu, a first-year military academy student, a very proud man; and the younger one is Wei Lan, the one just behind Xiang Kun, who is only fourteen years old, who’s also the youngest here. Though, seeing their capabilities that are akin to a mud that can’t support the wall2idiom; inadequate abilities. There’s this implication that the person in question should’ve been capable., no need to be overly worrying about them. And lastly, there’s the juniors from the Ning family. Ning Kongran is pretty good and can get along with others. Though, you can forget about cooperation with Ning Konghua and Ning Kongting. They both are younger than Ning Kongran, which is 21 and 19 respectively.”

‘Then… isn’t Ning Kongran must be 22 years old? Why is he still a fifth-year in intermediate college, then?’ Qiao Zhiya though, feeling confused. He remembered that Ning Kongran pretended not to know of him, making his frown even deeper. Then, he asked out his doubts.

“Ah, about this,” Chu Yan scratched his hair and replied, “I don’t know why either. What I heard was that Ning Kongran was born in poor health and was sent to another planet by his father to recuperate for several years. So, his education is a bit delayed. But this is just hearsay, and he looks quite healthy. So I can’t tell.”

Qiao Zhiya nodded to express his understanding, temporarily suppressing this doubt in his heart, and motioned him to continue his explanation.

The remaining two children of the You family have been keeping a low profile because of their weak family status, and they don’t hang out in the circle very much, making Chu Yan didn’t know much about their personalities.

“As for her grades, You Yuanyuan is pretty mediocre, and she studied logistics,” Chu Yan finished explaining. Instead, he focused on the name ‘Long Baorou’ written down in the supervisor group. His tone was serious. “This person, Qiao, you must be extra wary. It should be noted that although she is a supervisor, she is actually only 24 years old and is in the fifth grade of the military academy. If she approaches you, ignore her, and don’t believe a word she says, understand?”

Qiao Zhiya also felt that this Long Baorou was a little strange. He nodded quickly upon hearing this, promising to actively avoid her.

Satisfied, Chu Yan patted him on the shoulder again, stopped disturbing his class time, got up, and went back to his room.

After going through the relationship charts in his mind, Qiao Zhiya logged in with a heavy heart. After class, he asked the bearded teacher for a leave, saying that she had something to do at home, and he would be away for about ten days.

The bearded man expressed his understanding. The holiday was coming soon, and every family had to prepare for the occasion. It was normal to have no time. In fact, it was very rare for Qiao Zhiya to persist in class until today.

“The method of sorting out materials with spiritual power is actually the same. I will give you another textbook. You can read it more when you are free. You don’t have to come to class for now, and you can come back after the festival is over. Just go and enjoy the festivities, okay?” The bearded man passed a textbook to him as he spoke, and went offline first.

Unexpectedly, he got a long vacation. Qiao Zhiya looked at the textbooks in his hand and estimated his current self-study progress. After feeling that the extra vacation seemed to have no effect, he went offline with peace of mind.

Everyone gathered for dinner again, and the atmosphere was still neither electric nor dull. Chu Rong was sent away by Long Baorou again, and Qiao Zhiya felt even more weird when he saw this. He even missed two bites of his meal.

This situation continued until the last space jump was completed, the day before everyone was about to arrive at the primitive planet.

At night, Qiao Zhiya stood behind the door and listened to the movement in the corridor. He waited until after nine o’clock in the evening to hear the familiar footsteps. He felt quite desperate at this point.

When the footsteps stopped at his door, he immediately opened the door and asked with concern, ” Are you done with your work? Are you tired?”

Chu Rong’s hand, which was about to knock on the door, paused. Instead he placed it on top of the blond’s head and rubbed it gently. His cold expression eased. “I’m done, and I’m not tired. You’ve been waiting for me?”

Hearing his seemingly gentle voice at this time, Qiao Zhiya’s ears happily twitched. He replied with a hint of blush across his face. “I didn’t wait. I was reviewing my homework… and not long after that, I just happened to be…”

Feeling the soft sensations of the pointy ears against his palm, Chu Rong’s heart moved. He simply stepped forward and entered his room, turned around and closed the door, and hugged the youth in his arms.

With a light touch, he ran his fingers through the golden locks, feeling his tightly-wound body relaxed with the added warmth against his chest. He then leaned down and kissed the top of Qiao Zhiya’s head lightly.

Sure enough, it was more comfortable to stay with his Bald Chicken.

Qiao Zhiya’s heart beat a few beats faster as he was hugged. His ears trembled, but he still reflexively burrowed deeper into the embrace, and even hugged Chu Rong back. With his ears pressed against Chu Rong’s chest, he could hear the calming heartbeat of the older man.

Hugging silently for a while, Chu Rong glanced at the time, and had to forced himself to let go of Qiao Zhiya. While patting his head, he said, “It’s time to sleep… good night.”

After speaking, he turned and opened the door, and strode away, as if afraid that his will wouldn’t be firm enough to leave.

Qiao Zhiya watched the Marshal leave with a lost look on his face. His hand touched his head, feeling the ghostly-leftover feelings of fingers running through it.

With each seconds passing, he was missing Chu Rong more and more, leading his expression and ears drooped listlessly.

‘Obviously we meet every day, but I still keep thinking about the White-Haired Monster… Why? I shouldn’t be missing him.’

At half past nine the next morning, the warship landed in a valley on the primitive planet. Eleven juniors got off the warship with their own live broadcast equipment hovering around.

“The supervisors don’t go out with us, but just observe the situation above. What if we are in danger and they don’t have time to come over?” Wei Lan, the youngest, looked up at the sky and muttered his dissatisfaction in a whisper.

The fierce-looking Wei Yu raised his hand and forced himself to pat his younger brother. “Danger is still around, so you need to be more cautious. Especially since you’re still very young.”

Wei Lan was very afraid of this brother of his, so he immediately stopped mumbling after being reprimanded.

Xiang Kun looked around the valley full of plants as far as he could see, raised his hands to touch his stomach, looking troubled, “So hungry… they are so cruel, not giving us breakfast and even confiscating all the food in our space button. “

The handsome lady Xiang Jing looked at him upon hearing this, raised her hand to stroke his head pitifully, and began to look around to see if there was anything to eat.

Ning Konghua and Ning Kongting were also looking around with a visible frown, showing a little dissatisfied look — the surrounding environment was too primitive, where do they sleep at night? Even things like simple tents were also taken away.

“Find out the surrounding environment first, then prepare lunch. Let’s see if there are any wild fruits for breakfast,” Ning Kongran was the first to give an idea, and then looked at the older members Xiang Jing and You Xia.

The gentle and handsome You Xia nodded and echoed, “Agreed, let’s act first.”

“Girls and younger ones stay where they are,” Wei Yu interrupted forcefully, fighting for the right to speak. He was unwilling to be the only over-20 member not in control.

Ning Kongran glanced at him and acquiesced.

In just one discussion, except for the Chu family, the other families tacitly chose the person who represented each family to lead the conversation. As for Chu Yan and Qiao Zhiya, they both were directly ignored because of their age.

“Then do you know which wild fruits are edible and which ones are not?” Chu Yan interrupted lightly, gloating inwardly.

He didn’t believe that this group of people would understand this!

Sure enough, when this question came out, everyone fell silent.

The pampered young masters and ladies have never dealt with this kind of situation, let alone distinguishing whether the wild fruit was edible or not. Without the help of various advanced tools, it might take a while for them to light a fire.

Xiang Kun was so hungry that he couldn’t take it anymore. He shook his head and shook off Xiang Jing’s hand, glanced at the group of old faces in front of him, finally set his eyes on Qiao Zhiya, and said in a vicious voice, “You! Aren’t you an Exoplanet Native? Since you’re here, then you know the best about living on this primitive planet. We’re hungry and want to eat!”

Everyone heard Xiang Kun’s harsh words, and looked over at the commotion.

When Chu Yan saw this, he immediately exploded. With an almost yell, he said, “Xiang Kun, what kind of attitude is this! If you want to ask for help, why are you speaking as if you can lord over Qiao? If you have the ability, be this annoying after the live broadcast start, you coward!”

This keyword – live broadcast – sobered them up. Everyone turned their eyes back one after another, then looked at the insect-shaped recording devices around them. They instantly remembered that at ten o’clock, it would be live on time.

As they were chatting, the time had passed until there’s only twenty minutes before the time. They must act fast, otherwise they would be caught looking helpless and incompetent by the audiences.

Qiao Zhiya saw their reactions in his eyes, then looked around the densely vegetated valley, and pursed his lips into a smile—

He liked this terrain.
