Chu Rong: Marshal ML.
Ren Mo: aka Master Ren. A mecha master making full manually-piloted mecha.
Fan Xiangnan: ML’s second-in-command.
Zhuang Yu: A doctor in ML’s army.

Withdrawing his magic power, Qiao Zhiya looked nervously at Master Ren who was waiting quietly behind him, and asked, “After sorting out, shall we test it now? Are you sure you don’t want me to draw a magic circle?”

“No magic circles, as its existence is not suitable for exposure now. Only using the secondary mutated red tin ore is already amazing enough,” Master Ren replied, operating the instrument and putting the newly made weapon on the testing instrument, waiting for the test result.

Qiao Zhiya followed suit, waiting nervously.

Ten minutes later, the weapon’s detailed data was spit out, and Master Ren immediately projected it into the air, so that Qiao Zhiya could watch it with him.

“It’s all so high…” Master Ren quickly scanned the rows of data, the excitement he hadn’t experienced for a long time rose from his heart. He raised his hand and patted Qiao Zhiya on the shoulder, and said excitedly, “I knew you could do it! The weapon is well done! Very good!”

Qiao Zhiya also became happy with the result and praise. “Do I need to change it? The material of the secondary mutated red tin ore is more suitable for sword weapons. So if I make it into a sword, will the customer still like it?” After all, in his mind, firearms were much more popular than cold weapons.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure the customer will like it,” Master Ren gave him a meaningful look, happily put the weapon into his space button, and said, “Go to the mecha battle hall and try the weapon. By the way, record a video for the client to see the finished product.”

The two moved to the mecha battle hall, and opened the room with settings of the highest protection level. Then, they called Fan Xiangnan who happened to be in the Chu family’s house. They asked him to use the most common standard mecha to test weapons performance.

Fan Xiangnan was ordered to get on the mecha, and Chu Rong rushed over when he heard the news, watching from the sidelines.

A one-meter-thick protective plate was erected in front of him, and Fan Xiangnan manipulated the mecha to raise the giant sword and simply swept forward.

Almost silently, the upper part of the protective plate began to dislocate from where it was hit, and slowly slid to the ground with a loud bang.

Fan Xiangnan, who operated the mecha himself, was startled by the terrifying attack power. He took back his giant sword, got off the mecha and looked at Chu Rong, saying, “I suggest not to sell this weapon. With its attack power, it can cut through the battleship’s armor a little too easily. Plus, this also means that it’s too dangerous to be left hanging around unless it was wielded by a highly-skilled mecha fighter.”

Chu Rong and Master Ren frowned.

This was indeed a problem. The power of the weapon was too good to be sold like this.

“No, can’t you sell it…” Qiao Zhiya didn’t expect such a result. He looked at the space button with the giant sword in Fan Xiangnan’s hand with some disappointment, and said in a low voice, “Then don’t sell it, I will make something else…”

“It can be sold,” Chu Rong said suddenly, and raised his hand to pat the youth’s head.

Qiao Zhiya’s ears immediately perked up, and he looked sideways at him.

Elder Ren and Fan Xiangnan also looked over, with disapproval in their eyes.

“Sell me this weapon,” Chu Rong added. Then he looked at Qiao Zhiya, rubbed his ear, and continued, “You make another less powerful weapon and sell it to customers. As for the power level, make it only a bit more powerful than what is sold in the market. Can it be done?”

“Yes!” Qiao Zhiya immediately cheered up, and then said, “As long as I don’t inject magic power into the forging, I can lower the strength! This one’s for you. If you like it, I can make another one for you, with a proper magic circle, so it will be even more powerful!”

‘…it still can be even more powerful?’ Fan Xiangnan’s gaze was faraway, as he couldn’t full digest the extent of power Qiao Zhiya meant. He suddenly felt it was the Marshal who was the one lucky one – he was fortunate enough to gain Qiao Zhiya’s sincere trust and reliance.

Another month passed, and the new giant sword was finished.

“Only most of the values are very high.” Master Ren nodded as he put away the weapon. He handed it to Chu Rong who was waiting on the side, and said, “Go and try.”

Chu Rong took the space button and raised his hand to help him come over. Qiao Zhiya wiped the sweat from his brow, stepped forward, and was picked up by Chu Rong into the mecha battle hall.

Qiao Zhiya froze for a moment, then embraced his neck with a blushing face, and leaned his head on the Marshal’s shoulder.

Master Ren, who was forced to watch this: “…”

‘Young people nowadays are too brazen!’

This time Chu Rong personally tested the weapon. He was driving his own black mecha. Although he recovered his spiritual power, the flesh of the stone’s energy hadn’t fully digested yet, so any large use of spiritual power would lead to spiritual instability. So, he was still driving his manually-piloted mecha for now. Plus, he was very used to this mecha already.

The black mecha stood in front of the metal plate, holding the giant sword and swiping lightly.

There was an ear-piercing collision sound, and an extremely deep crack appeared on the metal. It looked horrifying, but it was clear that the attack power of this weapon paled in comparison to the previous one.

Satisfied, Chu Rong dismounted from the mecha and handed the weapon to Fan Xiangnan, indicating that the weapon could be sold. When Fan Xiangnan was about to leave to find Master Ren, the Marshal stopped him again and told him, “Tell Master Ren to sell this weapon under the name Qiao Zhiya, as his ‘apprentice’. And from now on, any weapons Qiao Zhiya made will be handled this way.”

“Yes, sir.” Fan Xiangnan nodded. He smiled at Qiao Zhiya, and went out to communicate with Master Ren about the arrangement.

After he left, Qiao Zhiya finally couldn’t hold back and rushed towards Chu Rong. He asked happily, “Did I make money?”

Showing a very shallow smile, Chu Rong replied, “Yes, you do. You’re amazing, and I’ll reward you with a batch of parts. I will ask Master Ren to prepare for you.”

The youth kissed his neck in response, humming happily along the way.

Chu Rong froze, while Qiao Zhiya was also dumbfounded after kissing – his eyes were blown out, and his body was stiff.

“…”

The air seemed to freeze alongside them. They still hugged each other, both looking at each other’s lips.

Qiao Zhiya subconsciously pursed his lips, as his ears fluttered about. He didn’t understand why he kissed Chu Rong so suddenly. But when he stole a glance at the older man’s thin lips, his heart raced, making his whole face flushed red.

‘The lips of the White-Haired Monster are so beautiful…’

“You…” Chu Rong tightened the hands supporting the youth’s back, lowered his head and moved closer to him. There’s turbulent emotions brewing inside his eyes, making his voice crack. “Qiao Zhiya, you should know that kissing the lips is completely different from kissing other places.”

Qiao Zhiya subconsciously leaned back, only felt that Chu Rong’s voice was especially attractive. Thoughts became chaotic, he suddenly remembered the scene where his father kissed his mother, then both decided to rain him with kisses once they saw that their little rabbit was spying on them.

His body seized up, while his mind was running a mile a minute. Suddenly, his feet no longer could support his body, and he fell slack, body falling backwards.

In a millisecond after that, he suddenly regained consciousness, and flinched as if he was frightened. In pure reflex, he pushed Chu Rong away, then ran away as if his head was catching fire from his full-face blush.

Chu Rong watched him run away. He traced his own lips by his finger, eyes squinted in suspicion.

Then, he followed Qiao Zhiya, thinking, ‘Ah, that Bald Chicken is ready to be cooked now.’

The two played hide-and-seek inside the house; with Qiao Zhiya hiding while Chu Rong accurately seeking. Chu Rong felt his heart was scratched by this particularly cute rabbit, while Qiao Zhiya wanted to move away as far as possible from this house – no, this planet.

Eventually Qiao Zhiya ran into his own laboratory and locked himself inside.

Rabbits would bite if they were cornered, not to mention Qiao Zhiya, a thin-skinned bald chicken.

Ancestor Chu was in a good mood, so he was patient, and he didn’t tease him anymore. He knocked on the door and said, “I’m cooking dinner. Before that, come out obediently by yourself. If you don’t, I will tear down this door and pick you up.”

Qiao Zhiya, who hadn’t gotten out of his embarrassment, threw himself on the sofa, covering his red face with a pillow. Like an ostrich burying its head in the sands, he tried to think of anything but what happened just now.

However, all hope was futile. All his chaotic thoughts inevitably lead him towards Chu Rong.

And it seemed that… he had strange feelings for the White-Haired Monster.

A feeling that he couldn’t understand after thinking about it.

As he mired himself deep into his thoughts… he fell asleep.

Ancestor Chu, who was in a good mood, cooked and prepared a large table of Qiao Zhiya’s favorite food. As he was getting impatient while waiting, he saw it was dinner time, so he immediately went to the laboratory and knocked on the door. As expected, he didn’t get a response for a long time. He found the key that he asked from the butler in advance, and opened the door with ease.

The room was silent, but he could see a small lump of someone laying on the sofa with a pillow in his arms.

He approached with light steps, and saw that Qiao Zhiya had fallen asleep on the sofa. Squinting his eyes, he bent over and raised his hand to push his bangs away,  then trace the youth’s soft lips with his finger.

Qiao Zhiya was woken up by this harassment. He opened his eyes in a daze, still half-asleep. He looked at Chu Rong’s handsome face getting a little bit too close, jolting him awake. He thought of something, quickly pressed Chu Rong’s chest and turned around flexibly to push the Marshal onto the sofa. He then pressed his forehead against his forehead, magic power rushing out suddenly.

Anxiety dripping with every word, he asked, “How are you? Are you okay now? Is your berserk contro– huh?”

He stepped back, frowning and looking at his hand. He condensed a little magic power, and was shocked with what came out.

It seems that his magic power has been upgraded to a higher level? What happened? His own storage bracelet1a reminder, “storage bracelet” is referring to QZY’s personal item that corresponds to his magic power. Qiuqiu lived here. Not to be confused with the “storage button” which is the Federal/Empire’s technological creation. seemed to expand again too.

He looked around again, and felt that the room he was in evoked a strange sense of deja vu. Some small parts on the table seemed to be familiar to him, but he couldn’t remember when he knew these things.

‘What’s going on…’

He frowned until his eyebrows wrinkled, looked at his expanded storage bracelet, and felt something was wrong inside. After scanning twice, he finally found something. His body froze, and he stood up in surprise, and said, “Where is the flesh of the stone? Why is it missing?” Without that, how would he treat the White-Haired Monster?

He panicked, and looked at Chu Rong in front of him again. Seeing the Marshal looking at him with a strange expression, he became more and more anxious. He raised his hand to touch his forehead and asked, “Again, are you okay? Where is it uncomfortable? Has your spiritual power calmed down? Your bers–”

“It’s over long ago.”

Chu Rong, who saw all his reactions in his eyes, had a guess in his heart. He raised his hand to pull the youth’s hand off. Holding his hand, sitting up straight and looking into his eyes, he asked coldly, “Bald Chicken, do you remember what we were doing just now?”

“What?”

Seeing that his face was ruddy and his breath was stable, Qiao Zhiya felt less worried. He first wondered about his question, then thought of something – his ears folded down, and he immediately thought of the worst. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have taken out the flesh of the stone carelessly. …Is your berserk really over, I, I… I’m really sorry. “

As he spoke, he lowered his head, looking as if he was about to cry from self-blame.

“…”

“…I’m really sorry,” He said again, voice trembling and tears welling up.

“Don’t cry! ” Chu Rong’s face was completely dark. He immediately hugged Qiao Zhiya tight, took out his communicator and dialed Zhuang Yu’s number. Once his call was connected, he immediately commanded the doctor with a murderously hurried tone: “Didn’t you say that his confusion will only get better? But what the hell is going on now! He forgot all about it!”

–And worst of all, the Bald Chicken immediately cried once he’s “cured”!!
