On the primitive planet, Chu Rong and Qiao Zhiya awakened from sleep, and began to think about repairing the mecha.

“Rongtian has suffered more damage,” Qiao Zhiya said, looking at the clearly visible impact marks on the black-gold mecha’s back. He then glanced at the brown mecha beside it, whose shell was mostly intact, feeling a twinge of heartache.

If it wasn’t for protecting him, Rongtian’s condition wouldn’t be this bad.

As if reading his thoughts, Chu Rong reached out and pinched his ear, and deliberately said, “I’m going to burden you for repairing all the damages, sorry.”

“No, no!” Qiao Zhiya was immediately distracted, turning around and leaning his head against his palm, anxiously comforting him, “You’re not a burden. Thanks to your effort back on the F90 planet, we were all saved. You’re really amazing! Super amazing!”

Chu Rong deliberately revealed his low mood and asked, “Is it?”

“Of course!” Qiao Zhiya nodded eagerly, his head swiveling around. He hurried over to bring a piece of ore and handed him a small hammer, saying, “I can’t repair the mech alone. I need your help, like with this ore. Can you help me remove the outer hard shell? This layer is just waste material, and I hate dealing with it.”

Chu Rong looked at the mini-hammer the size of his own palm, and was amused by his clumsy coaxing method. His lips upturned and he said, “Okay, I can help with this.”

Seeing him smile, Qiao Zhiya was relieved, and smiled back at him. He then turned around and went to inspect the damaged parts of the mecha.

It was truly a bit serious. It took them two full days to prepare the replacement parts needed for the mecha. Then, it took half a day to replace the old parts with the new ones, and they spent some time thoroughly debugging the mech after lighting it up.

By the time it was finally repaired, they had spent four whole days on this strange planet.

“I wonder how Xiao Yan and the others are doing,” Qiao Zhiya said as he stored away the repaired mecha. He glanced at the beautiful stars in the sky, then turned his head to Chu Rong beside him and asked, “Are you ready?”

Chu Rong nodded and reached out his hand reassuringly.

Qiao Zhiya held his hand and smiled reassuringly at him, then knelt down on the ground to begin drawing the bloodline traction magic array.

The mecha had been repaired, and it was time to locate the way home. He and Chu Huai did not have a direct blood relationship, so this time the array needed to use Chu Rong’s hair and blood as the focal point.

The array quickly took shape. At Qiao Zhiya’s instruction, Chu Rong plucked a strand of hair and handed it to him. Qiao Zhiya took it and placed it in the center of the array. Then, with a furrowed brow and a pained expression, he used a small knife to cut his finger and dripped a few drops of blood onto the hair. After finishing, he immediately began to bandage it up, afraid that even a drop more might spill.

Chu Rong was amused by his look. He raised his other hand and patted the youth’s head.

After being wrapped in blood, the white hair transformed into a straight red line. The red line began to rotate frantically, while the array started flashing intermittently, as if sensing something.

Subconsciously, Qiao Zhiya held his breath, not even paying attention to the large hand resting on his head.

In the past two years, he has drawn countless bloodline traction magic arrays, and he has failed in all of them. It was to the point he subconsciously no longer trusted the validity of the array. But fortunately, the reaction of this array was finally normal for once.

After several flashes of white light, the hair in the array suddenly stood upright, pointing diagonally towards the sky. Then, the array transformed into a beam of white light converging onto the hair, gradually elongating the red line. Finally, with a flash, the red line wrapped around Chu Rong’s wrist.

“It worked!”

Qiao Zhiya was ecstatic, pulling up Chu Rong’s hand to look at the red line, eagerly asking, “Do you feel anything? Like a subtle and mysterious feeling emerging in your heart, or a particular direction that feels especially familiar…”

Chu Rong followed and looked at the red line on his wrist and felt it carefully. He turned his head towards the sky, nodded, and said, “Yes, southwest.”

“That means Dage or Xiao Yan are on some planet to our southwest!” Qiao Zhiya became even more excited, rushing over to hug him. He exclaimed, “That’s great! We’re still in the same space as the Capital Planet, we can go back!”

Chu Rong hugged him back, a smile appeared on his face, and said, “Have a good rest tonight. We will leave tomorrow morning.”

He hadn’t held too much hope for Qiao Zhiya’s mysterious method, and he had already planned other ways to locate them. But he hadn’t expected this method to actually work. Just now, he indeed felt a faint connection within his bloodline.

‘Qiao Zhiya is truly a treasure,’ he thought with a smile, hugging him even tighter.

On the second day after Chu Huai’s arrival on the F90 planet, all the troops from the Chu family suddenly withdrew from the planet. They generously handed over the official flagship of the competition to the subsequent personnel sent by the President for takeover, transferring the authority of the investigation.

At the same time, the personnel sent by the Empire to pick up the Third Prince had also arrived. Chu Huai came out to bid farewell, his face looking haggard. Occasionally, his spiritual power fluctuated, showing the signs of someone who had just suffered a major blow from losing a loved one.

Seeing Chu Huai’s condition, the Imperial Third Prince kindly comforted him and expressed his gratitude. He also promised to fully repay the debt of gratitude for the rescue by Chu Rong and Chu Yan.

Chu Huai quickly expressed that it was unnecessary, but his eyes carried a hint of resentment as he mentioned that all the personnel on the official flagship of the competition suddenly fell into a coma. Although the preliminary investigation results indicated that it was due to the influence of the black hole, he believed that things were definitely not that simple. He was certain that someone was scheming behind the scenes, and he would definitely investigate it thoroughly!

Hearing this, the Imperial Third Prince had a stiff expression,  feeling both uneasy and suspicious. He quickly made his excuses and left, not daring to continue the charade any longer.

While he was absolutely not responsible for everyone passing out on the official flagship and the communication signals being blocked; should Chu Huai investigate the competition, it was highly likely that he would uncover other small actions he had taken, such as manipulating the results of the competition or ensuring Chu Yan’s entry into the finals.

Now that Chu Huai was in a state of emotional distress and lack of rationality, there’s no guarantee he wouldn’t blame him for the incidents on the flagship after uncovering this matter. He must hurry back to the Empire and prepare early.

“Prince….” His guard saw him with a bad expression and called him with some anxiety and said, “About Cao Xia …”

The Third Prince regained his composure and frowned. He replied, “Find an opportunity to silence him permanently, and make sure to do it cleanly. Don’t let anyone find out.”

Upon hearing this, the guard was stunned, recalling the comrade who was forced to play the role of a traitor this time and was later secretly dealt with by the Prince. He clenched his fists tightly and replied in a low voice, “Understood.”

On the Chu family’s warship, Chu Huai held back the deliberately released spiritual power and asked, “How is the situation in the Capital?”

Zuma stepped forward and replied, “The Xiang and Wei families haven’t made any major moves. They’re just obediently cooperating with the President’s orders to strengthen the defense of each planet. The Ning family has started distributing medicine for free, but only outside the Capital Planet. The President attempted to win over the You family but was blocked by the You family’s patriarch. However, Long Ruizhang and Long Xuyang secretly met once.”

“Xiang Lingyun has suddenly become smarter,” Chu Huai sighed suddenly, then turned and walked back into the warship. He ordered, “Prepare to set sail back. Starting today, the Chu family will shut its doors to visitors. Meanwhile, increase surveillance on various space stations and jump points. If Chu Rong appears, notify me immediately.”

“Understood!” Zuma and Fan Xiangnan answered in unison.

On the primitive planet, Qiao Zhiya erased the traces of himself and Chu Rong moving around in the forest. Then, obediently, he walked to Chu Rong’s side and let the taller man hold him, accompanying him into the cockpit of Rongtian. He settled himself in the resting area in the corner, voluntarily opting to conserve energy. They decided to return with only one mecha to save energy.

Help him fasten his security measures, Chu Rong bent over and kissed his forehead, and said, “We will go home soon.”

Qiao Zhiya nodded and smiled at him.

Chu Rong patted his head again, then stood up and took his place at the pilot’s seat. Instead of initiating synchronized operation, he opted for keyboard control. After starting the mecha, they ascended directly into the sky and flew towards the southwest.

As the scenery beneath them gradually shrank, they finally could see the landscape beyond the forest. However, with their minds set on returning home, they didn’t have the time to pay attention to these surroundings. Most of their attention was focused on the distant horizon.

The mecha quickly broke through the stratosphere and entered the universe, heading in the direction indicated by the red line.

After traveling for about three hours, Chu Rong suddenly slowed down the speed of the mecha.

“What’s wrong?” Qiao Zhiya asked quickly.

“The energy readings ahead are not right,” Chu Rong’s expression turned serious. He activated the mecha’s protective shield, moved forward for a distance, then came to a complete halt. He said, “It’s a chaotic asteroid belt. We can’t pass through.”

Qiao Zhiya glanced at the densely twinkling stars on the detection map. With a frown, he suggested, “Try to go around it?”

Chu Rong nodded and once again set the mecha in motion. “I’ll give it a try.”

The black-gold mecha turned around and fly upward.

Qiao Zhiya nervously stared at the image displayed on the small map. Then, to his shock, he noticed that the number of stars on the map was increasing as they moved, and even the color of the map changed. It turned into a light red, indicating that the temperature ahead exceeded the mecha’s tolerance level.

“No good.” Chu Rong stopped the mecha again, his brows furrowing even tighter. He vaguely guessed what might have happened. “There’s a border dividing line made up of an asteroid belt between the Federation and the Empire. The F90 planet is very close to this border. We might have been transported by the black hole to the center of the asteroid belt, completely surrounded by it.” The mecha definitely couldn’t pass through the asteroid belt unless someone had cleared a passage in a weak spot ahead of time.

Qiao Zhiya frowned, utterly worried.

If the situation was really like what Chu Rong guessed, then wouldn’t this mean that they can’t return back to the Capital Planet?

“This is a guess, though, I’ll try again.” Chu Rong calmed him and started the mecha to start the detour in another direction.

Another hour later, the stars on the small map became denser and the red color became darker.

Facts have proved that Chu Rong’s initial guess was correct. They were indeed in the middle of an asteroid belt. No matter where they went around, they were still surrounded by dense asteroids.

With the limited energy of the mecha, they couldn’t stay suspended indefinitely. After three failed attempts to detour, Chu Rong decisively chose to return along the original path, heading back towards the planet they had left that morning.

Qiao Zhiya’s ears flattened and his heart was heavy.

So, were they now trapped in this cage made of the asteroid belt? This situation was simply too dire. Who would have thought that within an asteroid belt, there would still be a safe primitive planet?

Noticing his despondency, Chu Rong set the landing procedure and reached out to ruffle his head, comforting him, “It’s okay. Now that we know our location, we can find a way back.”

Qiao Zhiya looked up at him, tilting his head to nuzzle him back. He obediently nodded and echoed, “Mn, we can find a way back.”

Since the mecha wasn’t feasible, they could build a spaceship that could do the job! There was a set of instructional materials for building a small spaceship in his storage ring. If he started learning now, he should be able to master it in no more than three months.

The primitive planet seemed sizable, and there would undoubtedly be plenty of advanced materials available. With some effort, there was indeed hope for them to return. It would just take a bit longer. Qiao Zhiya hoped that Chu Yan and the others wouldn’t worry too much.

At dark, they landed back on the primitive planet again. It’s just that the place where they landed this time is not in the forest, but on the river between two mountains.

After stabilizing the mech, Chu Rong stood up and walked to Qiao Zhiya. He bent down, reaching out to lift him up, saying, “Let’s rest here tonight. If you prefer the forest area, we’ll go back there tomorrow.”

“Mn.” Qiao Zhiya obediently wrapped his arms around Chu Rong’s neck, allowing him to bring him down from the mecha. As soon as they exited the cockpit, however, he immediately froze in place.

Realizing his stiffness, Chu Rong frowned, and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s gone…” Qiao Zhiya turned his head dumbfoundedly to look at him, then extended his magic power to confirm once again, staring at his surroundings incredulously, his eyes widening in disbelief. He struggled to get down to the ground and carefully sensed again, feeling bewildered. “How could it be gone? How is that possible? This…”

Chu Rong stepped forward and held his head to keep him from turning around, and asked, “What’s gone?”

“Magic elements! The magic elements in the air are gone. Do you remember the explanation I gave you before? It was clear that in the forest—right, the forest! Chu Rong, we need to go back to the forest! Right now!” Qiao Zhiya, after his initial panic and confusion, suddenly remembered a possibility. He urgently exclaimed, “If the magic elements weren’t naturally present here, then the dense concentration of magic elements in the forest must have been due to something nearby rich in magic elements! Usually, such things are treasures! We can go and find it to build a spaceship!”

He had overlooked it before. Since this place wasn’t in another realm – like his hometown – there was no reason for there to be magic elements on this planet!

‘Build a spaceship?’

Chu Rong raised an eyebrow at his words, giving him a peculiar look. Suddenly, he bent down slightly, kissed him proudly, and then lifted him up again, jumping back onto the mecha.

Qiao Zhiya was stunned by his kiss — a bit confused, anxious, eager, yet shy all the same time. With these contradictory emotions mixed, he didn’t know how to react for a brief moment.

The black-gold mecha once again took off to the sky.

Qiao Zhiya snapped back to attention and quickly extended his magic, carefully sensing his surroundings.

As they approached the forest, the magical elements reappeared in the air. Qiao Zhiya was pleased and said, “Sure enough, don’t stop, keep moving forward.”

Chu Rong increased the speed of the mecha.

The two of them soon arrived at the location of the spring, but Chu Rong didn’t stop; he continued flying forward. After about another half an hour of flying, the magic elements in the air suddenly became denser once again. It continued to increase, and eventually, there were even some places where the magic was so thick, it condensed into visible balls of lights.

Qiao Zhiya had never seen magic so dense before. Excited, his cheeks flushed red, and he couldn’t help but lean in close to the screen of Chu Rong’s mecha.

Chu Rong glanced at him, then reached out his arm to pull him close, slowing down the mecha’s forward speed.

After another five minutes of travel, a mountain wall appeared in front of them. Chu Rong maneuvered the mecha around it, revealing a vast forest of giant golden trees illuminated by green magical lights. The scene was so beautiful it seemed almost unreal.

Qiao Zhiya took a sharp breath, speechless with amazement. With such dense clusters of magical light and such rich magical reactions, what treasures could possibly be hidden within this forest?

Chu Rong also paused for a moment, then piloted the mecha to land. He carefully observed the golden trees around him, whose branches were much thicker than the mecha, and asked, “Yellow Leaf trees?”

Yellow Leaf tree?

Qiao Zhiya’s ears twitched. He turned to look, his mouth slightly agape.

Could it be that this entire area consists of the Yellow Leaf Tree that Chu Rong has been searching for but never found? The legendary grade ten material that was removed from the material encyclopedia due to its extinction?

“Qiao, I have to ask you something.” Chu Rong turned his head suddenly, solemnly speaking.

Qiao Zhiya snapped back, his expression subconsciously became as serious as Chu Rong’s. He nodded. “Ask it.”

“This.” Chu Rong took out a black-gold spatial device from the safe of Rongtian and placed it in his palm. Then, he pointed to the distant expanse of golden trees outside, his lips curling up slightly. “The materials are all gathered. Could you please help me repair the flagship? Then, I’ll take you home. How does that sound?”

Qiao Zhiya’s eyes widened as he looked at the spate button containing the Chu family flagship in his hand, then glanced at the vast expanse of Yellow Leaf trees outside. A dreamlike sense of joy welled up in his heart. Suddenly, he tightened his grip on the button, rushed happily towards Chu Rong, and nodded vigorously. “Good! I’ll help you repair the flagship! Let’s go back!”

They found a way out! Yellow Leaf Wood! It’s actually the legendary tree! It’s great! They actually found such a pleasant surprise in this primitive planet.
