Harlin quickly shifted his weight and bent his wrist slightly, allowing him to place the shaft of the sword beside his ears. This allowed him to block the attack that came from his head.

It, unfortunately, left his side exposed and Emmy gladly took advantage of the gap in his defense. Like a snake, she struck quickly and hit him in the side, expecting the boy to wince in pain.

He didn't.

'Sigh... That's [C-] constitution for you, barely feeling or taking any damage. Speed is commendable and reactions are acceptable.'

Emmy backed away from his when she noticed he wouldn't feel any pain, "Your speed is okay and reactions a good but due to your naturally great constitution, you tend to leave your guard open. It isn't a bad thing, just that you need to be more flexible in your movements to avoid severe damage."

After making such a statement, Emmy continued to hound Harlin with her attacks. Her figure dashed from place to place as she hit and gave tips to the boy on how to fix his form.

By the end of the session, Emmy was particularly sweaty while Harlin barely looked like he moved at all.

His constitution was higher than hers and so he got tired less quickly. There was also the fact that Emmy was fighting for a long time already and her stamina was reaching a down low.

"That's it for you now, call the others up."

"Yes!" Harlin jogged to the area where the others were and spoke to them, peaking at Emmy once in a while before pointing a few times for them.

Emmy paid no mind to them as she was currently in the process of catching her breath, she circulated her energy through her body to relieve some tension.

The bluish-silver stream went through her body like a cool spring, nourishing her insides and bringing her stamina back up while enhancing her strength a bit.

She cracked her neck as she looked at the trees in the distance, the sun hung in the sky and a breeze passed by. Emmy took a deep breath and felt her heart calm down similar to the unbothered surface of Cider Lake.

"How peaceful."

Emmy looked behind and saw that her friends weren't ready quite yet and stooped down to look at some ants on the ground. The little critters ran on their little legs in haste as they carried various food items.

"How cute. Ants are nice to look at, so hard-working and serious. I would imagine what they would be like if they possessed a body and mind similar to humans but keeping their other benefits.

"What would happen if they were to keep their discipline and unity while having the intelligence of humans and gods? Would they seek to conquer the world and how would they go about it? Would they further enhance their race or would they go into seclusion, creating more family members?"

Emmy looked at the ants with increasing interest, she picked one of them up and placed it into her palm. She watched with joy, how the little one ran in the palm of her hand like a headless puppet.

Emmy grinned and her eyes took on a darker tone, "I have a question, small friend. How does it feel to walk in the palm of another's hand? Can you relate to me? Am I also running in the palm of someone's hand? If so, how can I kill that person?"

"I don't know Emmy," Emmy replied to herself in a squeaky voice, that sounded a little pleading. The ant in her palm ran around, its antennae moving fervently as if in agreeance

"How do you not know idiot! Hmph! I guess no matter what a non-intelligent lifeform will always be a non-intelligent lifeform or should I say a non-sentient lifeform? No matter, ants do not matter enough to reside within my plane of thought."

Emmy picked up the ant once more and for a moment, thoughts of crushing it surfaced in her mind but she rejected them on the front that she just had a good conversation with it. With her mind made up, Emmy placed the ant onto the ground and watched it flee before...

...Promptly crushing it with the heel of her boot. The rest of the ants broke from the line to flee in all directions from the girl. Emmy's eyes were blank, they seemed to contain an empty malice beyond the level of indifference.

Heh.

How fun.

"Boss! The rest of us are ready!" Emmy turned toward her friends with a smile on her face, no one noticed the girl's actions, nor would they have cared.

After all...

It was just some ants.

The system however wasn't as calm as Emmy as it witnessed her actions, it knew the Host and her mentality.

And as Emmy walked toward the sparring area and she faced off against her three opponents who were Ansgar, Aries, and Sebastian. They were using a Spear, Sword, and Daggers respectively, while Emmy twirled her sword in her arms.

The system "body" looked as the girl fought her friends offering them tips on how to wield and use their weapons even if she hadn't used them before. All of this was the experience and knowledge she gained from it.

This was the Emmy it had helped to build. The product of its resources, talent, and hard work. However, the system still had its worry's for the girl like it had about her earlier actions.

To some, it seemed insignificant or maybe a little pointless. Why kill them just for the fun of it? But other than this they wouldn't question it further. But to others like the system and the instructors who were looking at this scene.

And to those who knew Emmy.

The true Emmy.

This was more than a little disturbing to them, as even those who had experienced and fought many wars got chills.

To them that girl wasn't the slightest bit of the human being she thought she portrayed herself as. Instead what they saw was a little girl with tendencies equal to that of the most trained killers.

Traits that were along the lines of a disregard for human life or other life for that matter.

Lack of [Empathy] in large quantities or [Apathy].

An unmatched capacity for cruel action and ruthless decisiveness regarding carrying out such actions.

"Haha... That girl is more than a monster, she's a different breed entirely." Master Mist said as he looked at the screen.

"Hmm? I think she's fine," Master Blood said carelessly.

"Of course, a killer like you has no problem with a future disciple like her but a frail old man like me can't handle it," Master Force said, his hand over his heart in mock fright.

"You are a shameless old man. To dare to call yourself frail? Why don't you say that to all your fallen enemies and the gods you have killed?" Master Fawn looked at the man with disgust.

The system administrator stood there quietly and looked at the screen and a certain scripture came to be within its memory board. Something it had gotten from that book a while ago and it felt a chill go up its spine.

The passage read:

"The stronger these guys get the more ruthless they become. For they became ruthless to themselves and those close to them, no one could stand against them as the gods feared them. They were granted the title [Equal to Heaven] and their emotions disappeared gradually until they lose all feeling.

"Each time a person like this is born the balance of power in the world shifts and a new age of power is bestowed upon the world. They possessed talent above the gods and were promised unfathomable powers from birth. The laws of combat that governed the world didn't apply to them and they broke them as they pleased. They were the Beloved and Bane of both the Heavens and the Earth and as such...

"These beasts had the power to fight Heaven on their own."

YiHuiliang

Is it time to say again I never knew that this talent was so op? The name was cool and I replaced it now but this... You know what? I'll leave it and we'll see how long it takes for Emmy to kill a god.

Any bets? I'll give her 10 years before she kills the Raiden Shogun. Of course, it wouldn't happen but in terms of sheer power, she will reach it eventually.

You can say [True Combat] users are to Teyvat what Gojo is to the JJK universe. Nigh-Invincible except for a few exceptions.
