 Leolde finally   talk to Jex.

"There are ...... conditions. If you follow them, we'll let  you go."

With a mysterious look on his face, Leolde thrusts a certain condition at Jex.

" Jex. You'll be under my command. Do that, and I'll let this matter go."

Not only Jex, but also Karen, Barbaroto  and the children were astonished at this condition, their eyes wide open. And when Leolde confronted him with his conditions, Jex was confused and asked Leolde if he was serious.

"You don't sound like you're joking ......."

"Yeah, I'm serious. I'm serious. So, what  will you do ?

"Let me ask you something. What if I say no?"

"You'll be taken into custody without question. But the children will be spared."

This time, Leolde was willing to forgive the children as long as they returned the crops they had stolen.

However, Jex's case was different. Jex is the leader of a band of thieves called the Hungry Wolf's Fang. He is a criminal with a grudge against many nobles and a bounty on his head.

In other words, there is no option but to let him go.

"What do we do now?

"Damn, ......, you're just like all the other nobles after all."

Swearing, Jex drew the sword at his waist from its sheath. The moment Jex pulled out his sword, Barbaroth jumped in front of Leorde.

"Master Leorde, leave it to me!

"Move, Barbaroto. I'll deal with him on my own ."

Leolde stands in front of Jex, pushing aside Barbaroto in front of him.

(Damn ......, I still had a chance to defeat  that knight over there ......)

(The woman in the back and this nobleman are a disaster. My instincts are screaming  that .  I can't fight them. But I still have things I need to do. I can't just sit here and be caught!)

Jex, determined, dropped his hips deeply and gripped the hilt tightly. Leolde confirms that Jex is now in a fighting stance. It is impossible to persuade him with words anymore. He pulled out his own sword, which he also had at his waist.

" .You know what it means to point a sword at me, don't you?"

"Of course I know what that  mean!"

With a shout of anger, Jex takes a step forward and approaches Leordo. He swung his sword down powerfully and tried to cut Leolde, but was caught.

Still trying to push back, Jex stepped forward.

(Damn it! I knew this guy wasn't like those nobles out there!)

Jex was getting impatient inside as they clashed with each other. He should be pushing back desperately, but Leolde does not move an inch. It's as if an adult and a child are fighting.

"Jex. I know you're strong. But let me tell you something. You're no match for me."

Even without being told, Jex knew. He knew he couldn't beat Leolde. But even if he did, he couldn't back down and put all his strength into his sword.

However, Leolde was stronger than him,.

Jex clenched his teeth as he gripped his sword, while Leolde pushed Jex back without a single change in color.

"I can't lose!"

(Yeah, I know that you're relying on the power of the magic sword here, and that you won't give up. But still, you can't beat me!)

More than a year of training with Gilbert and Barbaroto had elevated Leolde to a level beyond Jex's reach. Although his experience in actual combat was limited, his talent more than made up for it. So, there was no  way for Leolde to lose.

"Wind! Blow away!!!""

In response to Jex's roar, the blade of the magic sword emits a pale green light. The next moment, a raging storm struck Leolde.

"I see. This is the way it's supposed to be."

" Why it's not blowing away!"

Normally, the storm should have blown Leolde away.

However, Leolde knows  from the game of destiny 48. what Jex is capable of with the magic sword. And how to deal with it. So it was only natural that Leolde was unharmed.

"How the hell did you ......?""

". I just put up a barrier, but I changed the shape a little.

Leolde put up the barrier in front of himself before the storm broke out. He just made the shape round so that it would catch the wind. The same method was used by the Siegfried in the  Destiny 48 to prevent the wind from Jex's magic sword.

(He's doing it so easily, but do you realize how many people could do it at that last minute?)

Charlotte, who was watching the battle between the two, admired the barrier that Leolde had put up on the spur of the moment. Leolde made it look easy, but in reality it was incredibly difficult.

In the first place, the idea of making the barrier round would not normally come up. Because barriers are walls, they are perceived as squares.

If  he  had put up a normal barrier,  he  would have been blown away.

"You're a fool ...... to think that that would have prevented the wind from blowing away. ......!"

He can't hide  his angerl, and Jex glared at Leolde while a shaky noise .But that was a bad idea. The angry and frozen Jex was a perfect target. Leolde approached Jex with dazzling speed and flicked his sword away.

 What's ......?"

"What do we do now? Jex, do you want to continue?'

Not knowing what was going on anymore, Jex could only look at Leolde.
