Leolde left the royal capital at night with Roselinde, the Seventh Princess, as  his  guide.

Thanks to the transferring magic circle, they were instantly transported to the border area between the Empire and the Kingdom, and from there, they would  go  to the Imperial Capital on foot.

They considered using carriages or horses, but since they couldn't do anything that would make them stand out when they infiltrated, they decided to go on foot.

At first, Leolde was afraid that Roselinde would complain, but surprisingly, she did not complain at all.

Once he asked her why she hadn't complained, she replied.

"I ran when I escaped from the Imperial City. I ran, and I never used a horse or carriage .  I didn't use horses or carriages, because the streets were guarded by soldiers and  I could be caught. So I ran with my guards in a secluded area."

She said. Surprisingly, she was a strong princess.

That's why LeoldE is running through the forest without hesitation. From time to time, he would look behind him to see what was going on.

No one was slowing down,  as they were running behind him. He could have gone a little faster, but he checked the situation behind him and decided that his current speed was the limit.

(Can we go any faster? It's a race against time, so I'd like to go a little faster, but I shouldn't overdo it.)

After taking a break, Leolde started running towards the empire. However, even after the break, he is not fully recovered.

Roselinde is starting to lag behind. She came to the kingdom on foot from the empire, but   she doesn't have that much physical strength.

"Are you okay, Rose?"

"Yes, I'm fine. "

A worried Siegfried approached her after calling her by her nickname. Siegfried slows down his pace and runs  to Roselinde's side, his eyes clearly showing that he is pushing himself too hard.

Glancing at her, Leorde slowed down a bit. It's not good if Roselinde, who is the guide, gets stuck, so Leorde tries to match her as much as possible.

(Worst case scenario, I'll carry her and run? That would be faster, but I'm afraid she' d say no.)

He thought about carrying Roselinde if she continued to lag behind, but decided that she would not like to be touched by a man who was not her subordinate and whom she did not like.

He continued to run for a while, but he must have been overexerting himself. Roselinde's legs got tangled and she almost fell.

Siegfried, who was standing beside her, hurriedly supported her and she was safe from falling.

Siegfried knew he couldn't keep running like this, so he tried to call out to Leorde. But before he could, Leorde stopped.

"I'm going to rest for a while. Rest well."

Siegfried, relieved by these words, let Roselinde rest.

"Thank you, Siegfried.

'I know you' ll be taking a break for a while, but if you can't make it, let me know as soon as possible. I'll let Leoldo know."

"Yes, I will. I will."

Leoldd approached Roselinde, who was resting against a tree, and Siegfried, who was sitting beside her.

"Your Highness. Is this a good time?"

"I don't mind. What is it?

"We're going straight ahead for now, are we on the right track?"

"Yes. No problem. Is there anything else?"

"I'd like to speed things up a , if that's possible."

"I'm sorry. That's difficult. Maybe, no. I'll be too slow. ......"

"Would you like me to carry your Highness on my back? Of course, if Your Highness doesn't want , I won't force you."

"That's a bit of a stretch. ......"

"How about Siegfried, then?"

"Oh, , no. What should I do?"

Glancing at Roselinde, he saw that she was looking at Siegfried. Perhaps Siegfried would have no qualms about it, Leolde discerned.

To be honest, he was hoping that he could get him to shake his head. If he did, Siegfried would run with Roselinde on his back, so he could increase his speed.

So, as a Leolde, appreciate that more.

"If it's okay with you, I'll run with you on my back.

"Okey . I'll take your word for it."

Siegfried doesn't notice, but Roselinde's mood has improved. It's not that I don't like it.

(I'm sorry if I'm taking advantage of your love interest, but I'm running out of time.)

Well, now they can take fewer breaks.

Relieved that he wouldn't have to spend extra time on this, Leorle called around to the others.

"We'll go then. Don't be late."

After taking a break, Leolde started running towards the empire again. Since he had explained earlier that he would increase his speed during the break, he ran faster than before.

Leolde was running in the lead, Siegfried with Karen and Roselinde behind him. And at the back of the pack were the three secret agents that Sylvia had lent him.

(Hmm. (Hmm... Siegfried has no problem carrying Roselinde on his back. If this is the case, we should be able to reach the Empire as planned.)

After that, Leolde continued to run. The goal was to reach the Empire. If possible, he wanted to enter the imperial capital before the war started, so he ran as hard as he could.

(I've done all I can do. I'll trust my men to do the rest.)

Based on his knowledge of the game, Leolde was preparing for the war.  He was worried about Zeat, but he believed that his reliable men would protect  it , so he ran on.

Note probably today will take a break
