Leolde collapsed on the spot, looking at the view through the large hole in the throne room. Lying on his back, Leoldo continued to breathe hard and thrust his  hands  towards the ceiling.

" We won, ......!"

Clenching his fists tightly as if grasping the feeling of victory, Lelde  slowly lowered his hands, which had been thrust toward the ceiling, to the ground.

"You've done it ......!

Then Setsuna walked up to him and was pleased with victory.

"Yeah. We've won. Thank you, Setsuna. If it weren't for you, we probably wouldn't have won."

"That's not true. I'm sure you could've handled it on your own."

"No. I assure you. I couldn't have done it on my own. That's for sure."

Both of them seemed to be refusing to admit it , but then they both laughed at the same time.

"There's no point in arguing anymore."

"Right. What are you going to do now?"

"Hmm? Well, I'm wondering what happened to the emperor, so let's head that way."

"Yeah, let's go "

The two of them were exhausted, but fortunately they were sharing magic power, so they still had plenty of magic power left. But if they were asked to fight Glen again, they would only have enough energy to run away immediately.

"By the way , Glen is dead ? "

"I don't know. I was so self-conscious that I don't know. But even if he   was  alive, the Flame Emperor would be in no condition to fight."

"Then I want him to be  alive . It is natural to die because it is a battle, but he was manipulated by the emperor. ......"

As Setsuna said, Glen had been taken hostage and was being controlled by a servitude collar. It is unclear what he was thinking, but there is no doubt that it was a cruel end.

But that doesn't mean that Leolde  doesn't feel pity or compassion for him. If he had shown mercy in the final moment , he might have been the one who died. So, it was only natural that he would not show mercy.

Leolde, who was silent, and Setsuna, who was worried about Glenn's safety, left the throne room. The two of them walked off to join Siegfried and t co who had gone after the emperor.

meanwhile , Siegfried and  co  were chasing after the emperor  while Leolde and Setsuna were fighting Glenn. On the way, knights blocked the way to protect the emperor, but they were defeated by Siegfried and  co  without much trouble.

There were only six of them. In addition, the emperor was even more annoyed because a soldier who had served the empire for many years was easily defeated by an opponent who had only just come of age.

. The emperor felt his guts churning as he wondered why he had to escape so miserably.

(Damn it! Why am I in this situation?)

He  thought in his heart, but it was just rust coming out of his body. He knew that there was an intruder, but he made the mistake of letting Glen go alone to defeat the intruder in order to satisfy his own desire to be abused.

He should have attached dozens of elites to Glen to make sure he was safe. If he had done so, he would have been able to annihilate Leolde and  co without fail.

If he had done that, the emperor would be smiling broadly right now. Well, even if Leolde  died, what he left behind would be extremely troublesome, and if he tried to fight the kingdom in earnest, he would surely suffer heavy casualties. If  he is not careful,  je could be defeated by the overwhelming difference in power.

Aside from that, emperor heads for a place. If the soldiers were useless, he thought of another way. It was to hit them with the military demons that the empire had been secretly developing.

The emperor fled to the research building where they were developing the soldier cyanide that had attacked Leorde and the others in the underground canal, and glanced over his shoulder at Siegfried and the others who were chasing him from behind.

(Hmm. You can go after  me . Your   will met your ends here!)

As if to guide them, the emperor runs away to the back. Siegfried and the co chase after him.

"Isn't he leading us somewhere?"

Karen, who thought it was suspicious, spoke to Monica.

"I think  he is setting a trap."

"If that's the case, wouldn't it be better to tell  other ?

"No, you can't. If you tell them, they won't stop, and if they see it's a trap and turn back, the emperor will escape. So we'll have to chase him."

"Oh no. ......""

Monika's words were correct. The reason why the emperor looked back at Siegfried and the others earlier was to make sure that they were following him.

If  they have a good intuition,  they  will notice that  they are being led. If they did, they would surely stop in their tracks. The emperor knew that if that happened, he would be able to escape safely.

"What are  we going to do?

"There's nothing to be done. I just told you."

In the end, Siegfried and the  co chased after the emperor, just as the emperor had intended. They knew it was a trap, but they chased after the emperor because they couldn't let him escape, no matter where  they ended up.

As  they was chasing after him, the emperor walked into a large room . Siegfried and the  co saw this and followed him into the room, where they found a huge monster they had never seen before locked in a cage.
