Leolde  ran out of the infirmary and chased after Sylvia, but since he left a little too late, he didn't know where she went.

Leoldoe was suddenly thwarted, but luckily he found a soldier walking down the corridor. Thinking that he might have seen Sylvia, Leolde called out to  him .

"I'm sorry to bother you, but I need to ask you a few questions."

"This is Count Leolde!"

The soldier politely saluted to  Leolde, who suddenly approached him. Leoldd is currently treated as a guest in the empire, a fact that is well known to the soldiers.

"Ah. I've recovered enough to be able to move. I'm sure you've seen His Highness Sylvia pass by here."

""Her Highness the Fourth Princess Sylvia? If that's the case, she went over there."

"I see. Thank you for telling me."

"No, you don't have to thank me!"

"Good luck with your work. "

After thanking the soldier and saying a few words of encouragement, Leolde ran towards the corner where Sylvia had turned.

As he rounded the corner, he saw Sylvia and a woman who appeared to be a knight guarding her walking ahead of him. However, Sylvia and her knight soon turn a corner in the corridor and disappear.

Leolde  hurriedly chases after them, and as he heads towards the corner where Sylvia and her knight guard turned, he catches Sylvia and her knight guard going into a room somewhere.

After finding out where Sylvia was, Leolde  caught his breath and fixed his messy clothes. He took a deep breath, knocked on the door, and called out to Sylvia inside.

"Your Highness. This is Leolde Hervest."

But Sylvia, who was inside, was surprised because she hadn't expected Leolde to come out of nowhere.

"What? Sir Leolde-!"

When Sylvia's surprised voice came from inside, Leoldo hesitated as if it was too sudden, but since he had already called out to her, there was no turning back.

"This is Leoldo. Is this a good time?"

It was a strange thing to ask if it was a good time when  they had just talked, but it was polite  thing . And that included the fact that Sylvia might have some business to attend to later. Well, not really, but Leolde doesn't know.

"Let's see, ............."

Sylvia was puzzled by Leolde's sudden visit, and was wondering whether to invite him in or not. It was difficult to make a decision because she had no idea what Leolde was doing here in the first place. After much deliberation, Sylvia let Leolde into the room.

"Excuse me."

When he entered the room, the first thing he saw was the knight Rebecca,  her bodyguard. She is Sylvia's close guard knight. During the war, Richto had served as Sylvia's bodyguard, but now that the war was over, he had returned to his original position.

"Your Highness. Would you like me to go outside?"

Rebecca was concerned about the two of them and tried to go outside. But she didn't need to, since she was an escort. Normally.

"Yes. I'm sorry. Could you excuse us for a moment?"

"As you wish."

Rebecca bowed lightly and left the room. As she left the room, she spoke to Leolde in a low voice.

"Count Leolde. Please don't make His Highness cry."

"What?"

"Take your time, then."

He was left alone with her without knowing why, and he was puzzled as to what to do. In the first place, LeoLde didn't really know what to say, since Setsuna and Karen had just told him to come.

When he was frozen in silence for a while, Sylvia spoke to him.

". Didn't you have something to   say ?

"I think so. I'm not sure."

Leolde smiled bitterly, as he had no particular topic in mind. The momentum of the two of them had brought him here, but now he didn't know what to say.

Sylvia tilted her head when she saw the strange situation. She wondered what Leolde was doing here.

"So, Your Highness. Did that ...... artifact I gave you help you?"

He  immediately thought of the ancient relic that  he had given to Sylvia.

"Oh, ......, that's ......."

"What's wrong with it?"

I was just asking with a light heart, but Sylvia looked down with a sad face, which made Leolde nervous. he was wondered if this is something  he  should be asking about.

The ...... necklace that was given to me by  you  was ...... lost.

Leolde wondered what it meant to have lost it. It's either purely lost or it's been effective. If it's the latter,  he was  glad it was useful, but if it's the  first ,  it's a little sad.. Leolde can't hide sadness at losing a useful relic.

"It's not that I lost it, it's that it's gone. ......"

".So the relic I gave you was useful.

"Well, aren't you ...... angry with me? It was very valuable."

"Haha. What do you mean? Compared to  her Highness' life, a relic or two is cheap."

Ancient relics have a value that is comparable to that of a national treasure. Of course, the substitute necklace that Leolde  gave to Sylvia was a one-time  use , but it would protect her from death. For those who are in a position to buy it, they must have thing .

 It's not that I didn't mean it.

He didn't mean to say it, but without a doubt, Leolde's  remark raised Sylvia's favorability.

"Your Highness?"

"Sir Leolde. Why are you doing this  for me?"

"Huh?"

Leolde, who had no idea what she was talking about, made a dumb sound. . Sylvia, watching the scene, couldn't help but want to know what Leolde  was really thinking.
