These three days, Gu Hua had been staying in the treasury store in the main courtyard auditing her mothers dowry. She had only finished doing so at 9 am in the morning.
Including the three and a half trunks of jewelries, there was not an item missing; she can finally rest and breathe some fresh air.
Gu Hua got up turned around to walk over toward the door. When her right leg took a step, she felt something hard and round from under her feet. The floor was already slippery, she didn't have time to guess what was underneath her feet.
The object was round so her body rolled forward. Before she could fell hard on the floor, her hands already lean against the wall for support. While balancing her body her left hand touched a title on the wall and pressed firmly on it there was a click sound and next to the painting a small hole appeared which had a small box placed upon a thick book.
In the painting girl who has has charm of an immortal and was holding a new born seeing the sun rising, there was a mysterious charm to the painting. There were also some weird letter written at the very end of the panting. Gu Hua reached in and took the book, the book looks quite old. She blow the dust off the book and saw that the title of the book was same as what was written at the end of the painting. It not in English nor Chinese. Her interest piqued as she curiously decided to open the book and see what the book was about but the weirdest thing was the book only contain the blank pages.
At first Gu Hua has a odd felling about the painting and book but now she knows that aren't as they seems to be. Next she took the box and was about to open it when heard sound of foot step coming toward her. Gu Hua kept the book and box with her and walk toward the door.
Opening the door, she saw Gu Ming standing outside pacing back and forth, his handsome face with a slightly immature air was filled with worry.
Brother, what happened? Gu Hua asked and tilted her head to look at the boy.
Gu Ming halted and looked solemnly at her before he signed heavily, "Sis how many do you want to skip you didn't even had dinner last and I am sure that you still haven't even eaten your breakfast."
Gu Hua felt amused in her heart. It kind of feel good when someone worry about you. Gu Hua felt warm on seeing his actions and could not help but smile widely.
"Alright.. your sister is going have some breakfast now. So, don't worry anymore little brat.." Gu Hua ruffled his hair.
Gu Ming smiled at her as he liked his sister playing with his hair. His sister always remained silent, but now after seeing his big sis so active and playing with him he was really happy ah!
Once she left the treasury, she briskly walked back to her room with her cute little bunny by her side.
The sun was bright, birds were chirping and flowers were blooming. Gu Hua washed up and ate breakfast with little bunny before lying down on her bed. Thinking back on what happen inside the treasury. Gu Hua heart still has many doubts, however Gu Hua tossed this matter to the back of her mind, and instead focused on getting some rest.
Gu Hua had been feeling tired for a day since the former's body was particularly frail. Now that things had calmed down, she could feel pain throughout her body.
