Upon hearing the decree, everybody applauded and were really happy. They celebrated the wedding. The couple kowtowed to the parents and feasted with the relatives and the visitors.
After a while, Li Ming Yue ask Yeung Xiaolian if they can go somewhere quiet to talk. Yeung Xiaolian nodded.

Yeung Xiaolian was dumbfounded. Tears began to fall from her eyes. She cannot describe how she feels because she never expected this to happen at her wedding day. She is scared again because she never knows when will she see her husband again. 'tell me you're joking me right' she thought.
"My mother wants you to stay with them in their house for the time being that I am away. She wants to know you better and teach you about things."
'wow, mother-in-law issues(again). I hate being with mother-in-law. You will feel like you are a time bomb with them, with one wrong move and huala! Before you knew it, you exploded already' her mind is running wild and fast...as if hundred and twenty kilometers an hour. I know the feeling of staying with the in-laws because I have been through it when me and my husband has just been starting yet.
At this very moment I don't really know what to say to him. I don't want him to worry about me because I know that the place he is going and what he will do there will not be easy.
She sighed and answered, "Can I just stay here in your house? I think I can manage here alone."
"I promised my parents that I will let them know you better. Please bear with it a little and as I promised you before I came back here, I will promise you again, this time I will make it faster to be able to be back on your side in no time. Please Yeung Xiaolian"?
After giving it some thoughts, Yeung Xiaolian, gave in "but in just a month. If you are not still back within one month whether you like it or not, I will pack my things and go away...if I am not welcome in your house, I will just leave this city and go far away where you won't even find me".
"Well, that's fine with me. I will just talk to head eunuch Si Tang about it. Before I leave, I will introduce you to everybody. Let's go." Li Ming Yue grabbed her hand and lead her the way.
Yeung Xiaolian was introduced to each person inside the household of Li Ming Yue. One by one Yeung Xiaolian tried to memorize the faces so that at least she won't make any mistake in calling them by their names.
A certain girl was assigned by Li Ming Yue to assist Yeung Xiaolian in everything, her name is Jing Mei. So, from now on she will stay with Yeung Xiaolian.
Li Ming Yue cannot waste any more time, he has to leave now so that it won't be very dangerous for them on their way to the foot of Mount Zhangduo. Yeung Xiaolian walked him up to the gate where Bo Hai and more or less a hundred of soldiers waiting for the General to make orders.
"I am going now, please take care of yourself, always think of me and wait for my return."
"Don't worry I will be here when you come back. But please come back in one piece".
As Li Ming Yue was about to leave, "wait" Yeung Xiaolian said. Li Ming Yue turned to her. 'Who care about ancient times' I told to myself. I cupped his face and lifted up a little bit and gave him a sweet kiss.
Everybody around us who sees us were embarrassed, but I don't care. It is my modern way of expressing myself. Anyway, we are already married.
"If you want more of it, come back as fast as you can, do you understand"? With my finger pointed on him and my other hand on my waist. He smiled and said, "I want more than that, so you better be ready when I come back."
"I will miss you dearly". He said, then turned around and left.
Sudden tears fell from my eyes, 'please take care and come back'.
