While the three bigshots had heard that dimensional rings had successfully been created, it was still a high-level secret. Most of them only held snippets of information regarding them. That was why they needed a second or two to realize that Old Zhao was indeed taking the apples out of the ring.
The lady with the retro vibe held the apples and asked Old Zhao, “Old Zhao, quickly tell me how we use it?”
“Use your Mental Power to cover the ring. Once it’s done you must envelop the item you want to store with your Mental Power as well. Connect them and you should be able to store them in the ring.” Old Zhao was happily sipping his tea as he said that.
“Not bad.” The lady kept the apples in the dimensional ring once again. “How much storage space does it have?”
“One cubic meter.”
“What? Only one cubic meter?” The three of them were slightly disappointed.
“Did you really think that the technical information to produce this was as easy as growing some cabbage? If it weren’t for Xiang Ning, the dimensional ring might only have a storage space the size of your pinky!”
“Cheh, is he really that good? Sounds like you’re exaggerating.” One of the three people sighed. He was an old man, short and skinny. He looked like an average old man enjoying the sunshine on a patio, but his eyes were brimming with power as if he could see through anything.
“Hmph! He was someone that I’ve chosen. Since when have I chosen the wrong person?” Old Zhao defended himself.
The three of them glanced at each other and nodded in agreement. Old Zhao was indeed really good at choosing people. No matter who they were in the past, all of them were either city lords, brilliant researchers, commanders, or held other higher ranking jobs. Old Zhao was scary indeed.
“Alright, tell us. What do you need?” The last person was dressed like a lecturer with a likable face and demeanor.
“Do you want him to focus on scientific research? I think he could exceed the Twelve Great Prodigies. He’s still so young, yet he has succeeded in researching and producing dimensional rings.”
“No, you would be limiting him. Look at his overwhelming talent, why don’t we properly guide him? He’s already fighting against that damned snake even when he is only a tier three martial artist. He can even fight with some leeway. Scientific research? Bullshit!” The lady shook everyone when she swore, but they were used to it.
“Hey, are you looking down on research? Look at him! He was only sixteen and he already researched the dimensional ring! Give him another sixteen years and he could invent hyperspace travel! We’re now entering the intergalactic phase to spread humanity across the stars! If he can find out the method for hyperspace travel the entirety of the human race would remember his name!” The old man was shaking with excitement.
“Hoho,” the lady hugged herself and laughed coldly. “Foolish. He only needs to train in martial arts and increase his life expectancy! He won’t have to worry about dying early then!”
“Humanity is at its turning point right now, and we’re bitterly defending against the threat of invaders from outside of our galaxy! If we don’t do something humanity might be completely annihilated!”
“That’s a problem for Azura, we still have many more powerful martial artists protecting us.”
The two were arguing and had almost come to blows.
“Alright, let’s listen to Old Zhao’s suggestion,” the third man finally said.
The arguing old farts instantly turned and looked at Old Zhao. They were staring daggers at him as if they were saying that they would kill him if he didn’t support them.
But who was Old Zhao? He was a man of ambition and action. “Why not both?”
“WHAT?!” Both the lady and the short elder slammed their hands on the table. “Are you crazy? Do you think he can split himself into two?”
“I think he can do it,” the silent elder agreed.
Both the lady and the short elder scolded at the same time. “Who cares what you think? I think I’m right!”
The silent elder finally stood up and exuded his pressure. “We haven’t seen each other for a long time, do you think I’ve become weaker?!”
The dreadful pressure forced the two to their knees without any chance to retaliate. Both of them turned silent.

“Please continue.” The silent elder calmed down and smiled, his previous demeanor nowhere to be seen.
Old Zhao coughed as he cleared his throat. “Xiang Ning only does research during the night. He still attends school during the day.”
“Is his talent that scary? Are you sure he’s a human?” the short elder whimpered as he gazed at the silent elder.
“He fought against a tier three martial artist even when he was only tier one. He even injured a tier two tyrant spider! When he was tier two, he fought against Hanwu Academy all by himself. He even defeated the Son of God of Aurig Central Academy when he was tier three. Soon after, he assisted in killing the Kaiser Aurumsaur and singlehandedly killed a Pale Moon. Do you think anyone else ever had the same achievements as he does?” Old Zhao knew even more, but decided to withhold it.
All three of the others were stunned. They remembered that Xiang Ning became stronger when he just entered high school. Wasn’t his speed of cultivation too fast?
