Nine had been pleasantly surprised by the durability of the motorcycle. She had thought that she would have to make a couple of emergency stops to rapidly repair the vehicle, but it had withstood the stress she had put it under with remarkable capability.

As the wind brushed her face gently like a lover, she felt like she'd been reborn completely anew. Flying in the skies had done wonders to her. With every meter she had travelled, she felt like the stress and worries melted off her, leaving her in a wonderous state of mind. She felt a surge of clarity, and the numerous doubts she had about certain solutions rapidly resolved itself in her mind. She discarded many solutions and even came up with a few more.

She enjoyed herself for a while longer, her state of mind was as clear and flawless like glass. It was at this moment when she spotted a certain landmark. It was a large rock that looked somewhat like a leaping fish from afar. Nine silently landed on the ground. The motorcycle she was using fell to pieces the moment it touched the ground. Such a great scene of destruction was met with no noise whatsoever and absolutely silent – almost eerily so. It went to show how strong the runes that Nine had applied on it were.

With a single wave of her hand, the pieces of debris and broken scraps disappeared, banished to somewhere no one would be able to find it. She left no traces of the destruction behind, even meticulously mending the damaged caused to the ground.

With her strength, she naturally didn't have to do this at all, but it had already been ingrained in her bones that she should be meticulous and careful. This was also a core part of her personality. She wouldn't do anything unnecessary that would potentially bring trouble to her later on.

With that taken care of, Nine calmly made her way into the Vampire territories by foot. This part of the world was called the Night Tide continent. It had taken her a grand total of half a month to travel here, even with her modified motorcycle. For a normal person, it would have taken roughly half a year to reach here from the Cosmos Empire using transport, not to mention by foot.

She had to cross both land and water to finally reach this place. Nine felt like she'd never been better after this journey. She was filled with vitality and strength. She could feel that her constitution had made a sizable improvement after her mental state reached a new level.

The boundary that the Vampires considered theirs and what they considered to belong to the humans was remarkably clear, even to the untrained eye. It created a stark contrast, the Vampire's side was lush and filled with green grass, spreading onward for miles unhindered, whereas the human's side was barren and desolate. The land was dry and cracked, somewhat reminiscent of a desert.

Nine looked at the difference speechlessly as she wondered whether there were Vampire gardeners who maintained the land to look as beautiful as it did. She thought about it and had to hide a smile at the thought of those proud and arrogant Vampires secretly tending to the land because they loved aesthetics so dearly.

The moment she stepped into the grass, she could feel the stark difference. Her eyes flashed as a tide of magic washed over her skin, leaving her feeling incomparably comfortable. It felt like magic danced in the air, caressing everyone who lived on the land.

She inwardly raised an eyebrow. So, this was why the Vampires drew their boundary line there. This was the reason. It stood in line with the general Vampire's personality, not to mention nobility. Everything made a lot more sense now.

The information that she had gathered was still too lacking. It looked like she would have to hasten her plans of making an information group and expand her circle. Even though it was many times more challenging compared to when she had just inherited Arcana back in her past life, this was the one thing she would never compromise on.

Information was the most important. Gold, power, pride, prestige. All of those would come sooner or later, but without information, those things held no weight. As the previous head of an information group, she knew very well the vast amount of influence that was wielded.

She walked without hurry into the depths of the land. Her speed was even faster than it had been back in Cosmos City.

Along the way, she took note of the flora and fauna. She squinted seeing the uniform types. These Vampires really took their aesthetics seriously. The sight was indeed beautiful and seemed like it had no strategic defensive points or any properties other than its beauty.

Nine's eyes gleamed slightly as she thought of something, looking at the flowers speechlessly. There was a single tree in the middle of flowers every few kilometres. In fact, the design was so uniform that it was rather puzzling. It made one feel like they were walking in circles.

Luckily, Nine had a strong sense of direction, and a cheat called Blue. The little flying turtle darted about, lazily flying in the direction of the nearest settlement. His Master hadn't called him out for so long! He had to listen to the mainframe's nagging everyday over and over again, saying that it was too useless because his Master hardly ever used him. Blue rolled his eyes. Obviously, his Master was already too powerful, okay? Why would she ever need to use him when she could singlehandedly take care of all the problems on her own? He enjoyed his time lazing about and did all he could to block out the mainframe's endless nagging.

Before long, an aesthetically beautiful city appeared in front of Nine's eyes. The city, Raveria, was tastefully gilded with gold and silver in a gothic style architecture. The sight continued on every street. The materials used to build the city's houses were uniform, the designs were different but still adhered somewhat to the general style. It gave her a strange sense of distaste in her heart the moment she landed eyes on it. Whilst stunning, it made her feel like the city didn't have any individuality. It made her feel confined. But what really made Nine speechless was that the incomparably beautiful city actually didn't have a wall! It was as if the Vampires were saying 'why would we need a wall when no one would dare attack us?'.

With a blank face, Nine entered the guard-less city as she kept Blue back into whatever space systems went when they weren't materialized. When she stepped onto the white tiles that were used to make the city roads, she felt a faint humming underneath her feet.

Her eyes flashed as she continued moving, looking for lodging for the night.

As she walked with unhurried steps, her eyes were drawn as she eventually ended up in front of a building made in pure black in stark contrast to every other building. It stood out like a sore thumb amidst all the flashy white, gold and silver.
