Fu Yan looked at the incoming figure and gently shook his head as his eyes wavered with shock.

He softly asked while looking towards the roof, as if trying to gather himself and control his emotions.
There was silence for a while, then a soft voice filled with guilt sounded in the room.
"From the start. I only came to work for you because I was told to do so, but that was at the start. I really enjoy working for the company now."
Fu Yan gently shook his head as he looked towards Fei Hong, who was standing in front of him with teary eyes.
"I treated you as a family. I even almost died for you. The care I gave you, is this how you repay?"
Hearing this, Fei Hong trembled a little with emotions and hastily replied.
"No! I really cared about you. At first it was an act, but gradually I started to fall in love with you. If possible, I hope to continue working for you."

Fu Yan looked towards the man with an emotionless face and asked while looking straight into his eyes.
"I don't care if you are showing sincerity or not. I am asking a question here. Let me make one thing clear to you, I am not afraid of you. You want to kill me, then do it, it's not I care if I live or not. I am only here because of Xen. So until I see Xen, I won't be cooperating with you. Also, if you want me to cooperate, then start answering my questions. Maybe, I will get an impression of you and you can get more from me other than what I already have."
Hearing this, the man's face changed. At first, anger surfaced, but then slowly he calmed down and gently stood up.
"Well, I will need to consult the above first. If they agree, then I hope that you can remember what you just promised us. As for your cousin, we are currently giving him medical treatment so you have to wait for a while."

A voice sounded in his ears, and then he slowly explained the situation.
There was silence for a while, then the voice asked.
"What do you think we should do? Is he worth explaining all this? We can just use our means and get information from him so go through these lengthy operations?"
The man nodded and then explained.
'Sir, I understand what you are trying to say, but our team has analyzed that if he really developed all these technologies, then he is a valuable asset. We know that he possesses some very advanced monitoring capabilities, and we have witnessed it many times. The recent case of him being able to find out that his parent's death was not an accident. We still don't know how he was able to know about that and he may know many of these things beforehand and just want to test us. So I suggest that we cooperate with him. If we show our sincerity, he might develop some goodwill towards us. Also from how he reacted to the death of his uncle, aunt and for the safety of his cousin, if we control his cousin, then he will cooperate with us."
He gave a lengthy explanation and waited for the answer.
There was silence for a while, then the confirmation came.
"Ok! Do as you see fit. I want to see good results. The technologies he developed are too important for us. The country C is pressuring us a lot after the recent event. So I want to see results and I want them fast."
The man gently nodded hearing this, and then the call disconnected.
After ending the call, he disconnected the device from the terminal and then returned to the room.
Fu Yan was sitting on the chair as he had left him before.
The man looked at Fu Yan's posture and noticed that even though he was in a dire situation, Fu Yan did not show any anxiety. He was sitting there as if it was a normal thing for him.
Seeing him returning, Fu Yan smiled and then asked.
"So, what did you decide? Are you ready to tell me details?"
The man gave a slight nod and then sat down in the chair.
"I have talked to above, and they have agreed to give you an explanation for all things we have done so far. But they also asked me to inform you that, if you listened to these details, then you will belong to us. You will have to cooperate with us and we will not take NO for an answer. One way or another, we will get what we want."
Fu Yan's expressions turned serious and he gave a nod.
"Ok, I will see what I can do for you. So answer me, since when did you start to monitor us and why my parents were killed?"
'Well, Mr Fu Yan, you can call me Ben in future as we will be working together. As for why we killed your parents? Actually, we did not want to kill them. That day, we just wanted to give them a scare but the driver we arranged somehow replaced and some other party killed your parents. After that we only found the corpse of the driver and the clues ended there. Your parents were working on a project with us and we don't know who bribed them, but they suddenly decided to betray us. So after your parent's death, we started to monitor everyone related to them as they had a finished product on them. We are still trying to find it but were unable to do so."
Fu Yan calmly listened to all this and then leaned back on the chair as if he was trying to comprehend what he was told. He knew that Ben did not tell the whole truth to him and was hiding something but decided to not ask further.
"So you are saying, ever since my parents died, you have been monitoring me. If I am not wrong, when I first purchased a server and found a chip inside the rams, that was your doing? Also, the incident with me and Fei Hong, where I got stabbed, was also your doing?"
Ben gave a nod and explained.
"We were trying to get agent Fei to get your trust, and we came to a conclusion that was the best possible scenario."
Fu Yan suddenly laughed and then asked in an emotionless voice.
"So you are saying, you had even my emotions under control from the start. I was nothing but a puppet for you guys!"
Ben Smiled and did not say anything. Fu Yan saw this and took that as a yes.
After a while, Ben broke the silence and said.
"The reason we are telling all this to you, is to show you our sincerity and to let you know that if we wanted, we could have controlled you without you knowing it but we have decided to acknowledge your talent and don't want to see you as a tool anymore."
Fu Yan heard this and decided to not respond to this anymore. After closing his eyes for a while, he suddenly asked.
"When will you take me to see Xen? I will give you my answer after seeing him."
