When Ben heard this, he let out a smile and spoke with a warm voice.
"We understand your concern regarding your cousin, but as I have told you earlier, because of the mistake of one person, there were casualties, and your cousin Xen was injured. We are currently giving him the best viable treatment we can and when it is done, we will take you to see him."
Fu Yan leaned back and closed his eyes after hearing this reply. He did not know if they were telling the truth about Xen or not. Though he was angry at them for killing his parents, uncle and aunt but for now he had to think about Xen.
He was constantly praying for the safety of Xen and was hoping that Nir would be able to find him.
Seeing that Fu Yan was not to respond, Ben stood up and politely said.
"Mt Fu Yan, let me lead you to your room. You can rest there and when the treatment of your cousin is done, we will call you. How does that sound?"
Fu Yan did not speak and just gave a nod without even looking at Ben.
Then he was led to a small room that was well furnished. The room was completely white in color. Ceiling, bed, chair and even lights were white in color.
He did not know why they would make this room look like this, but decided to not ask any question and do anything till Xen is found.
He had decided that even if he had to expose some of his cards, he would take Xen away with him.
He planned on using the Library teleport to escape from here. He did not care if they investigated him later on, as he had other plans in mind.
If they wanted to take over his company, then they could have it. He was not worried about that because with one word, Qing could shut down all operations of the company and he was sure that his enemies would not be able to get the operations back on.
While coming to city B, he once thought of just teleporting here but after thinking for a while, he decided not to do that as he was worried about exposing his cards but now, he was regretting not doing so.
'If I had just teleported there, I might have been able to save them.'
He was blaming himself for what happened to his uncle and aunt but no matter how much he lamented, he could not bring the dead back.
Just when he was lost in his thoughts, the door opened and Ben came in. He looked towards Fu Yan, who was lying on the bed with his eyes stuck towards the ceiling.
He slowly came near him and spoke with a soft voice.
"Mr Fu Yan, how is the room? I just came in to ask you if you need anything. We will try our best to meet all of your needs. We are…"
While Ben was speaking, Nir's voice suddenly sounded in his mind and Fu Yan stopped listening to whatever Ben was saying.
"Master! I found your cousin but…"
Nir stopped midway while speaking. This rang an alarm in Fu Yan's mind and he asked.
'Why stop? Tell me what happened."
Nir was silent for a moment, then his voice sounded inside his mind again.
"Master! It's best if you take control of my body and see for yourself."
Then darkness suddenly engulfed Fu Yan's vision, and after a while, he saw light again. Fu Yan looked around and saw that he was inside a brightly lit room that looked like an operating room.
He looked towards the center of the room and saw that many people were gathered around a table and were speaking hastily with each other.
"Prepare for shock! Clear!"
"Increase the oxygen level."
"We are losing him!"
"Prepare for shock again! Clear!"
"Prepare a high dose of adrenaline. He is going under!"
"Inject it! Inject it all! Prepare for shock again! Clear!"
Fu Yan listened to all this and was trying to understand what was happening. Then suddenly his gaze fell upon the patient on the table.
Fu Yan tried to control himself and slowly walked towards the table with his legs shaking.
When he reached the table and saw the cute face of Xen, who had his eyes closed. He gently stroked it.
Suddenly the instruments on the wall started to give off alarms. Fu Yan came back to reality and saw the flat line on the screen on the wall.
Then the doctors who were trying to rescue Xen suddenly stopped whatever they were doing and looked down dejectedly.
Fu Yan looked towards the doctors, the screen and then towards Xen was lying on the table with a bloody wound in his stomach.
It took him a while to understand what happened and then suddenly he felt as if someone had sucked away life from his body.
He slumped down on the floor with his hand still stroking Xen's face. After a while, tears rolled down from his eyes and let out a heart piercing cry.

Ben was asking Fu Yan what he would like to eat or needed anything else when he noticed that Fu Yan was staring blankly into the void.
Then after a while, Fu Yan suddenly raised his hand as if he was trying to touch something.
Ben was confused about what Fu Yan was trying to do, but decided to not interfere with whatever was happening and observe further. Maybe it was the side effect of the drug that his parents developed.
But after a while, Fu Yan suddenly slumped down on the floor hard and tears appeared in his eyes, then all of a sudden he let out a heart piercing cry as if he had lost something precious.
When Ben was considering what to do, Fu Yan abruptly stood up and lunged towards him.
Ben tried to tackle him but how could he stop Fu Yan who was strengthened by the gene fluid.
"Why/ Why? Why? They were my everything. We never harmed you or anything else. Why would you do this? First my parents and my sister, now uncle, aunt, then finally even Xen. You took them all from me. If you want something from me, then come after me. Why drag them in. Why? Why? Why?"
Fu Yan was having a nervous breakdown. He who had lost everyone he cared for. After losing his parents and sister, Xen and his aunt filled that gap somehow and gave him the reason to live but now even they are gone.
He remembered the innocent face of Xen, his smile, his mischiefs but now they will always be memories.
After crying for a while, Fu Yan suddenly looked up and his eyes were flashing with golden color from time to time. As if something was trying to take over him and his consciousness was trying to fight it. But after a while, the glow in eyes faded and his eyes turned golden completely.
Fu Yan suddenly stood up and then started to laugh.
"I was wrong. I WAS WRONG. Kindness is for the weak. I was a fool trying to give benefits to this world. I was foolish to be kind to everyone. Power is everything. I should have destroyed you and everyone who got in my way when I had the chance, but no, my foolish self decided to work along with you guys. But no more."
After saying all this, Fu Yan suddenly looked in one direction and shouted.
"NIR! I order you. Kill everyone you see. Leave no one alive. Make this base or whatever the tomb for them. They will pay with blood for what they have done."
Ben was looking at Fu Yan, thinking if he had some mental damage, when suddenly his eyes opened with shock.
He saw a child appearing out of nowhere and stood in front of Fu Yan. The child knelt in front of Fu Yan asked in a soft voice.
"Master, are you sure?"
Nir could see that Fu Yan was in the right self and so he asked this question.
Fu Yan looked towards Nir with his golden eyes and spoke with a voice filled with authority.
"You dare question my decision? I said kill them all. Leave no one alive."
Nir trembled a little at hearing this and then slowly stood up and walked towards Ben.
Ben saw the child coming towards him and noticed a pitch black dagger suddenly appearing in his hand.
That was the last thing he saw as darkness suddenly filled his vision.
