After the initial greetings, Fu Yan still retained the warm smile and then asked with a soft tone.

"Mr. Lihi, you must have understood why I came here."

Lihi gave a nod and then replied while trying to adjust his body.

"Sir Librarian, I know why you are here and I am also willing to pay the corresponding fees for that. As you can see, I have been rendered to this state due to old age and illness thus I cannot travel outside without these things. So I had no choice but to wait for someone from the Library to come. I hope you can forgive me for that."

Upon hearing this, Fu Yan gave a nod and then asked.

"So I am correct that you want to extend the borrowing period of the book? Then if you are willing to do that, then you must know that the fee is more expensive than what you first paid to borrow this book."

Lihi gave a nod hearing this and agreed with what Fu yan said.

"Yes Sir and we are willing to pay the corresponding fee for that. We have discovered an ownerless barren planet that has only small life prospering on it. They are all unintelligent species, so we were able to claim ownership of that planet. We plan to pay the fee with that planet. Also, I hope to borrow a book from the Library that can extend my life."

Hearing the answer from Lihi, Fu Yan again let out a warm smile and then replied with great enthusiasm like a salesperson trying to sell something.

"Of course. As long as you can pay the corresponding price, all the books in the Library are available to you and on top of that, you are a valued customer of the Library, so we will give priority to you. If you can't travel to the Library, I can show you the books here and someone will deliver them to you for a small fee. So would you like to browse the books now or pay for the late fee first?"

Lihi thought for a while and then after taking a glance at Fu Yan, he replied.

"I would like to pay the late fee first and then extend the borrowing period of the book that I borrowed."

Fu Yan gave a nod and then took a strange-looking device from his pocket, that looked like a tablet from earth but had a triangular shape.

He brought the device near Lihi's forehead and then the Library token flew out from his head. When the token touched the device, it shined in blue light and then disappeared again into Lihi's forehead.

After doing these operations, Fu Yan looked at Lihi and then asked.

"So Mr. Lihi, can you tell me the coordinates of the planet? Also, you need to tell me the core signature of the planet too so that we can verify that you are the owner of the planet. Please remember that coordinates must be pinpoint accurate otherwise, the payment might fail."

Lihi looked towards one of the commanders who followed into the room behind Fu Yan and upon seeing the look of Lihi, the commander took out a black ball from his pocket and then handed it to Fu Yan.

Fu Yan took the black ball and then lightly tapped on it. He did all this as if he had done a similar operation hundreds of times. This was abnormal but Fu Yan did not seem to notice this. He did all these operations naturally.

After Fu Yan tapped on the ball, a string of strange characters popped up. Fu Yan gently tapped on the book that was embedded inside his armor in the chest area and then after a series of operations, he returned the ball back to the commander.

After that, he looked at the transparent screen in front of him and then added a command for the collector.

The moment he did so, one of the hundreds of collectors in the Library, woke up and made his way towards the destination through the teleporter.

After some time passed, a message popped up on the screen in front of him.

According to the message, the collector had returned to the Library and had gone into lockdown mode till the Librarian returned to the Library. It also displayed the amount of energy collected from the planet.

After seeing this message, Fu Yan closed the screen and looked towards Lihi and others who seemed to be anxiously waiting for the news.

"The payment has been received. We have collected 40% of the energy of the planet. 30% is for the extension and 10% for not submitting the book on time."

Upon hearing this, Lihi let out a forced smile. Even though his heart ached that 40% of the energy was gone but considering the long-term profit they will make, he chooses to accept it.

When they complete this ship, then with its help, they could just go to the new galaxy they discovered and there were many planets in that galaxy that had no ownership. There were even 15 planets that had 1-star civilization on them. Many low-level planets with life were among them.

After staying silent for a while, Lihi looked towards Fu Yan and then asked.

"Sir Librarian, May I ask, what my level in the Library is now? I hope that I am not causing you any trouble by asking that."

Fu Yan let out a smile upon hearing this question.

"No Mr. Lihi! You are a valued customer so how can you cause trouble. As for your Level, It has been raised to C+ after the recent purchase. We hope that you can continue to patronize us."

After saying that Fu Yan paused a little and then continued to speak.

"So for the new book you want to buy from us, would you like to proceed with that now?"

"Yes, so can you show me the books that can help me in my current condition," Lihi asked with excitement.

"Of course. We have many such books available in the Library and many of them can help you. But I recommend that you buy a finished product because it will take time for you to develop the medicine and you might not survive for that long. But with the finished product from the Library, you can recover immediately."

Lihi pondered for a while after hearing this question and then asked.

"Sir may I ask what is the price of the finished product compared to the knowledge."

"Oh, it's just ⅕ of the price of the book. It's because even if you managed to get the book, you might not be able to gather all the materials needed for the medicine to be developed so we have taken all that into consideration. So what would you like to choose."

Lihi thought for a while and then replied.

"Sir, I have to trouble you to select a suitable medicine for me."

When he heard this, Fu Yan smiled for doing a successful business. Because Lihi had decided to borrow the knowledge then the payment would go to the Library while he would only get a small percentage of it but now that he had decided to buy the finished product, Fu Yan could buy it in the store and sell it for more.

With a warm smile, Fu Yan took the pen out of his pocket and then pointed towards Lihi. White light shined from the pen and landed on Lihi's body. It scanned Lihi's whole body and then displayed the data on the screen in front of Fu Yan.

After reading the data, Fu Yan opened the store and then searched for the corresponding medicine. After browsing for a while, he finally found an item that was fully compatible with Lihi's body and had no side effects.

It was priced at 500 credits so Fu Yan locked it and then turned towards Lihi.

"Mr. Lihi, We have the medicine that can cure your illness and extend your life by 30 Hynes (100 years). So would you like to buy the finished product or the book containing the knowledge for manufacturing it?"

When he heard this, Lihi could not help but show excitement on his face. Who does not want to live longer or even be eternal?

"Sir, what is the price of both of them? Is it possible to buy both of them?"

Even though he was excited, Lihi did not lose his rationality which showed that he was a capable commander. He considered the best possible scenario that benefited him and his planet.
