Chapter 10: The Slaughter begins!

Two days after the beast tide in Blusparrow kingdom, during the night, the Ma clan made its move. Using a secret passage, they mobilized the entire manpower of Ma clan.
" Second Elder, everything is prepared? " The grand Elder asked quietly.
" Yes, Our army is ready."
" What about those Royal clan's spies?"
" We've misled them, saying we are going for a military exercise."
Mobilizing such an army, the Royal clan may get suspicious about rebellion, so they have to tackle them.
" Have you brought all the beast repelling incense sticks?"
" Yes, Grand Elder."
" Then prepare, we are going."
And like this, the Ma clan began their treasure-hunting expedition while being unknown that only darkness awaits them.

" Second Elder, How much distance has remained?"
" Hmm, that light pillar must have appeared nearby."
" Elder, there is a pack of green-eyed wolves ahead."
" Hmph, slaughter those lowly beings. Let our young peoples train here."
Due to lots of beast repellent smoke, The party encountered fewer beasts on their way. The younger people killed some ordinary animals and low-rank ferocious beasts. They are enjoying the expedition as some training sessions when suddenly, two ear-splitting roar rang across the forest.
" Huh, what happened?"
" Elder, there are two high-level ferocious beasts ahead."
" Hmph, First Elder, lead Third and Fourth Elder and kill those beasts."
" Yes, patriarch.", As three people rushed forward, the sound of fighting came.
" Elder, this is bad, there are two Iron Horned Rhinos behind us."
" Charge! Kill those filthy animals."
"PUNY HUMANS! YOU DARE TO INTRUDE OUR TERRITORY?" A roar resounded.
" Patriarch, th-this is a demonic beast."
" You all, search the treasure ground. Me and Grand Elder will fight this beast."
As the party moved forward, lots of beasts attacked
relentlessly. The demonic beasts roared " All beasts, heed my command. Kill these intruders."
" It seems the treasure is nearby, quickly find that place."
" Patriarch, there is a clear area ahead, there are also some strange stones."
" That is the place, quickly charge there!"
" NO, don't let the human go there !!!!!"
As the party entered the clearing, all the ferocious beasts and demonic beasts stopped outside, like some strange force was preventing them from entering the area. After roaring and snarling some time, the beasts slowly left the area.
" Patriarch, it seems this area is really magical."
" Patriarch, something has drawn over the stones."
On the stones, there are some scribblings and some strange drawings.
" What is this? all the drawings are so ugly."
*Meh* " What do you know? Maybe these are ancient letters and symbols." some elder snorted.
" Then the treasure must be very powerful."
" Maybe"
All the manpower of Ma clan gathered in this small area. They are searching for some clues of the treasures, but they could not able to find it. As they started to become anxious, Someone said
" Patriarch, it seems we forgot to use the key. Where is the meteorite?"
" Ah, yes, Take out the meteorite." Ma Xiao Kong ordered.
As they brought the meteorite something strange happened. From a high dune, dirt and soil began to fall, and revealed the mouth of a cave.
" Patriarch, LOOK, there is a cave."
" Everybody, wait outside. All the elders, follow me into the cave."
" Yes, Patriarch."
As they entered the cave, a bloody stench hit their nose. The smell of blood is so strong that some elders felt nauseated.
" What the hell with this smell? Just how many people died here?"
" I am getting a bad premotion."
Suddenly, scream and battle cry rang outside. Peoples are howling in pain and crying for help, like a bloody battle is happening outside.
" Wh-Whats happening outside?"
" It seems somebody attacked our army, shit."
"Get back! RETREAT."
" Since you all have come this far, Why going back so early?" A deep sound resonated through the dark cave, hearing that sound all the elders including Ma Xiao Kong shivered and their hair stood at its end...................

" Do you think we will find the hidden treasure?"
" Of course, we will find it and after that we will raid on the Royal clan, ke ke ke "
" After this mission, I am going to take rest."

*AWOOOOO* a howl resounded as a large wolf appeared. It looks similar to Green-eyed wolves but it is larger than them by five times.
" Holy, its an Alpha King, a top grade ferocious beast, get back!"
the roars of beasts sounded all around them, like a beast tide is charging at them.
" Loo-LOOK, T-TH-THAT'S A DEMONIC BEAST!!!!!"

As the bestial sound came, chaos erupted inside of Ma clan's army.
"Damn. its a trap!!"
"Hurry, inform the patriarch and RETREAT!"
Alas, everything was futile. Seven demonic beasts, thirty high-level ferocious beasts, and others can threaten the entire Blue Sparrow Kingdom. Slaughtering such an army was very easy for them.
