43 Chapter 43: Won't you Meet Your In-Laws~

"So, what you are saying is that you went to the legendary sword realm and comprehended your own Sword dao?" Xin Yan looked at Noah with an incredulous expression while exclaiming out in a loud voice. Her shock was understandable too because even a simple sword intent was very difficult to comprehend on its own let alone walking an entirely new path.

'Dao is said to be the origin of all things. It can be interpreted as many things like Way, path, method. Every cultivator needs a path to cultivate. They choose the path that has been there from ancient times and is the most suitable for them to walk on it.' Xin Yan's eyes fell on Noah 'If what Noah said is right and he made a new path for himself, his journey as a cultivator will be a long and difficult one.' "I am surprised you know about the sword realm. I came to know about it from Elysia's knowledge." Noah showed his own shock while looking at the training sword in his hands, causing the woman to roll her eyes.

"Our family has a lot of sword cultivators, only a few of them have been to the sword realm. Which is why I knew about it." Xin Yan's words intensified the mysteries of her background.

'Well she will tell me when the time is right.'

"What do you want to do now?" Xin Yan asked.

"Well, for starters I wanna go out of this house. Speaking of it-" He turned his attention towards the entrance gate and snapped his fingers.

He stored the swords in the area inside a storage ring that Xin Yan gave him.

As soon as he did that a dim glow appeared inside the courtyard before vanishing completely. Everything returned to as it was three months before they entered seclusion. Follow current novels on novelb((in).(com)

Xin Yan followed his eyes and saw the gates of the courtyard opening. The maid walked inside the room after opening the gate.

Her eyes still held the cold look, upon entering the courtyard her eyes fell off Long Tian and they momentarily widened before returning to normal.

'When did he get so handsome?! It seems he gained some opportunity..'

Unknown to her, everyone caught the slight change in her expression.

Xin Yan's eyes turned cold at the sight of her son's murderer. If not for Noah's seals suppressing her cultivation she would have killed her right there with simply her murderous aura.

"What did you come here for?"

Noah decided to break the silence, he looked the maid in the eyes and asked in a cold voice.

Their reason for the relief was that body cultivation is way more difficult and resource consuming than the Qi cultivation where the cultivators have to use resources to forge their body and during this process they also have to suffer an enormous amount of pain which could even lead to inter injuries.

'No matter how hard you have cultivated you cannot achieve breakthrough without resources. Haha!'

He could see the impatient look in the eye of the family member so he decided to get to the point.

"As you know, the three month period came to an end today." His word carried the weight and authority of the patriarch of the Long family. A look of grief appeared on his face as he continued.

"You have to sever all connections with the family and establish your own name. This is the punishment for defaming our family's name outside. You entered the selection ceremony without our consent and caused harm to the sect leader's son. Do you have any objections?" Noah nodded with a plain look on his face. Long Chen's eyebrow twitched at his plain response.

"It pains me to punish you like this after all you are my grandson but This is for the good of the family so I can only hope you will be fine out there."

If looks could kill, Long Chen would have died thousands of times with the look he was getting from Xin Yan.

"Meh! I will be Fine. You should be careful of old Age too 'Grandfather'." Noah politely replied, catching everyone off guard. The people who were drinking tea spit it out, some did it on the floor while some spitted it on the nearest person they were sitting to.

*Cough* Long Chen Coughed to control his anger and nodded at the filial words of his grandson. "Well, Since I have nothing else to do I should leave now." Noah spoke seeing no point in staying here but before he could turn to leave a voice stopped him in his tracks.

"What's the hurry, boy? You didn't even greet me. After all, I am your in-law,"

The voice echoed in the room, everyone looked at Long Tian waiting for the drama to unfold.
