If he ate the entire Alucard instead of Miyabi, he would have a perfect shapeshifting ability, but this one is a bit limited.
Then Gabriel walked to Kamiya, still with his hand extended and the iron rod shortening proportionally at the distance between the two of them.
When he reached the Siren, he was already dead, he turned back his arm at the original shape and picked up the corpse, before turning around.

And with those words, he left from the hostel with Kamiya's body, leaving behind the rest of the group and unconscious or dead Mermen.
