Within a few days, Magnus reviewed the report about the Illuminati. The first thing he looked for was their combined wealth. And boy oh boy, it was crazy. "God, 200 Billion Dollars. This is madness. (About 1 trillion in today's economy.) They had it spread across their countless companies, land, properties, cars, gold, and cash."

When Ragnar heard this, his eyes nearly popped out, "WHAT? HELL! THIS IS MADNESS!"

Magnus shrugged, "They did accumulate this wealth in a long span of decades. Now, we are just going to eat all of this up. But, we can not let the world know that I own all these companies."

"What are you going to do with all this money?" Ragnar inquired.

"Well, my brother. This money belongs to the entire world. Slowly, I will do things across everywhere. In each country where I will gain influence, I will use this money." Magnus planned for it.

"Magnus... Ragnar, come now. It's time for dinner." Grace called the two. She and Adam had returned now and they were just told that a secret organisation of wealthy people was targeting them. They were not told who was in it.

Both of them left what they were doing to spend time with family. They'd have to return to school the next day as this was not really a holiday.

...

The year 1975 was important for many. Magnus was going to enter the 5th Year of his school and take the OWLs. He knew he was going to ace them, all except the Potions exam. Not that he was interested in the subject.

The British Wizarding world had calmed down by now and no murders occurred. The Death Eater menace was gone as they were hiding or running away from Ministry's Neutralizer Squads.

The muggle world was good too. Magnus' hospital had signed many contracts with countries in the European Community. They had also advertised their hospitals in the United States, and many customers were coming from there since Healthcare was pretty expensive there as the Government had left the entire industry in the hands of the capitalists with no oversight and full-blown lobbying ongoing.

About Zimbabwe, there was much going on. The infrastructural projects were already going on there. Now, railway lines were also being laid around the country for better trade. Most of the mines were inside the country, and another problem was the lack of port. Zimbabwe was a landlocked country.

So an offer was made to Mozambique, a country east of Zimbabwe. They offered to lay a railway line from Zimbabwe to a new port that they would develop. This would open the sea routes to Zimbabwe. This also gave Magnus a reason to make sure Mozambique does not face any stupid coups and it's also relatively stable and prosperous.

Soon, the current Parliament of Zimbabwe will dissolve and new elections will be held. All parties will compete, even those from the UK.

While in the Asian region, the small Himalayan country of Bhutan was seeing Magnus' sincerity. 5 Hydroelectric dams were already in construction, and huge windmill farms were also in development.

This was a crucial development as there were going to be many new industries in the country soon and all of them would need electricity. At the same time, a few railway lines were also being constructed.

Bhutan, being in the cradle of the Himalayas, faced a high level of danger from earthquakes. Hence, all these projects were being made extra strong. But for Emrys Construction, this was not much of a challenge as magic was one heck of a thing.

Roads, railways and highways were being constructed. All this would seem pointless for now, but later these will be the lifelines of the nation. While the capital of the country was being replaced and reconstructed to make way for larger streets, bigger parks and tall buildings. For a city that was going to be the economic centre, it was a must.

But Magnus had also told his experts to start brainstorming on how to sort out the biggest regional conflicts, India and Pakistan. It was a common fact that the people of these two nations didn't hate each other, instead, the hatred was superficial, constructed by political parties so they can rally public opinion easily.

Their biggest cause for the problem was the region of Kashmir. The conflict started after the Independence of India from Britain. When India was being unified, with princely states signing to join the union of states, Jammu and Kashmir, a princely state was also offered.

The biggest problem was, the King of that state was a Hindu, while the majority population was Muslim. Still, the King in 1947 acceded his state to the Dominion of India.

Well, Pakistan didn't like it. Then, in 1947, a war erupted, which divided the region after the cease-fire. But then, in 1963, Pakistan ceded a part of Kashmir to China, this was a stupid move as it made the already complex situation worse as they involved a third party.

But what Magnus found a headache was the 1965 war between these two. At that time, Afghanistan was seen as important by the United States, and for that, Pakistan was a regional partner. So when the war started, the United States and the United Kingdom openly supported Pakistan, supplying them weapons. This pushed India towards the Soviets.

Then, in 1971, another war erupted, this time West Pakistan was cut off and made a new country, called Bangladesh. This time, too, the US made an even bigger decision, Nixon ordered the US Navy's seventh fleet, led by the USS Enterprise nuclear-powered aircraft carrier into the Bay of Bengal, to threaten India to withdraw its offensive.

In response, India asked the Soviets for help, and the Soviet Navy dispatched nuclear submarines and other surface ships to trail the Seventh Fleet Task Force 74.

Of course, the United Kingdom supported the US and had sent a carrier as well. Now, for India, a country that gained its independence from western powers after 200 years of struggle, how would they react to all this hostility? Of course, they would shut themselves off and rather choose to cooperate with the Soviets. This was, however, hurting India, as their socialist policies were just destroying their own country.

And therein lies the headache. After the 1971 loss, even Pakistan stopped trusting the US. So now, both countries are against the West.

So, solving the conflict between these countries was extremely hard. The US and the UK had already smothered their images in these two nations that they would never trust them again. Bhutan only agreed because it was Magnus dealing with it. But the same can't happen with these two nations as they were not run by a king.

Ted came to him with one proposal that may be able to resolve the conflict of the region without a war.

"Why not just turn the whole Kashmir region into an SEZ? This will not only turn the region prosperous but provide money to both sides. They will have all the time to reach a peaceful solution after that." Ted suggested.

But Magnus shrugged, "I like your suggestion. But they hate us, so why would they accept this suggestion? Don't forget, they hate the British. The botched up boundaries between the two countries we drew caused the world's biggest human migration, causing 200,000 to 2 million deaths, 10 to 20 million displaced. Those who died, their children and grandchildren are still alive there, and they hate us.

"The only way we can move into that region is if we show our sincerity in Bhutan, and stop any more conflicts between the two countries in the future, instead of taking sides."

"What about the US? What if they ask us to support them?" Ted asked him.

Magnus sighed, "No more. The United Kingdom will not participate in any wars that the US plans to enter, not unless we see a reason to as well. It's about time we stop blindly following them."

Ted nodded and got up to leave, "Fine, I will get the message passed to the Prime Minister."

...

Hogwarts was boring in the 4th Year. Magnus felt that ever since last year's major war, everyone had mellowed down a bit. The enemies were now scared of making a move against him.

This left him as a normal school kid, just a bit overpowered.

"MAGNUS! WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE ME ALONG? I wanted to help." Emma complained when he returned to the school.

"And then what? Beat them with your broom? Don't worry about me. I've dealt with everything just fine. Ragnar can tell you about it." Magnus shrugged and focused on the food.

Ragnar started, "Of course, our little dragon, Magnus, was brave and stunning. He dealt with the enemies gracefully like a beautiful bird hunting for prey."

*Cough* "I'm not a maiden, describe me as awesome." Magnus objected.

"Sure sure... so our little beautiful magnificent fabulous dragon butchered more than a dozen people, burnt them to crispness as they wailed in their shrieking cries and then he took everything they owned." He blurted.

(°ー°〃) (●__●)

Emma and Severus dumbly stared at the two. Severus coughed, "That sounds like a description of a psychotic mass murderer."
