The night was spent at a big royal dinner with the family and the most important people in the UK in the royal palace. It was like Christmas around the nation. People were calling it the British Empire in 2.0, but Magnus made sure no news media called it that, he hated that term.

Yes, he was ruling over a large part of the world, meddling in their politics and forcefully entering their market, but unlike in the old days of colonialism, where all resources of colonies were taken away to the oppressor nation, this time was the world of globalisation.

In any country Magnus enters, they enter economic prosperity, jobs, infrastructure and much more gets developed there. The countries also make big money from taxes, so no, it was not colonialism, it was strictly business. Sure, the UK was making more money, but it was normal because they were the ones investing big.

"Your majesty, this is the file you requested, all the names of the prospective members of the Order are in it," Lord Mountbatten handed a file to Magnus. He was a member of the Order of the Merlin at this point, a very energetic and loyal member.

The lunch was to be served soon, he sat in the middle part of the big U shaped table as the head. On his left was Elizabeth and on his right was his Grace. He looked at the list, there were about 30 names. But of course, only 10 of them will be selected, the upper limit for Order Members was 50, which will not exceed more, and due to this, they have to be very precise on who they select. They didn't need the crowd, they needed quality.

Currently, there were 18 members in the Order of Merlin, with the founding five being the main heads. Nobody knew about the existence of the Round Table, however.

At the Round Table, currently, it was Magnus, Bobby, Ragnar, Severus and Emma, and Duck as well, he wanted to be included as the protector of the Round Table.

"Magnus, talk to people, don't read here," Grace suggested to him. There were a lot of people who wanted to talk to him but felt dejected when he didn't notice them.

He sighed and put it to the side. What followed was a boring dinner. He hated such official things. But soon it came to an end by 10 PM, all guests left and they retreated to their rooms.

Tired, they all went to sleep. They stayed in Buckingham Palace as from now on this was going to be their home. He was in a new bedroom, decorated and set for comfort. Emma was in his arms, both in their baby suits and somewhat exhausted from their activities. They were old enough that nobody minded their closeness anymore.

"What's the next plan?" She asked him.

"Go to the moon, get richer and make the world better." He replied in one breath.

"You've got your priorities straight. I am still working on the space broom, hopefully, I will be able to make a prototype that you can take with you to test." She muttered.

Magnus felt that she was feeling overwhelmed by his achievements. Emma was a Slytherin, the sorting hat may be useless but it did read people's qualities right. Emma was a competitive girl.

He hugged her tighter, "Maybe you can come to the moon later. Once I ensure that we can use the Portkey, I will bring you with me."

"But what will I even do there? Unlike you, I have no projects for the moon. I am just making a broom for space. Though I wonder if it can work in a vacuum since rockets use liquid fuel, can magic also give thrust?" She wondered.

Honestly, he had no idea, "I don't even know if magic will work in space, let alone brooms. But if it does work, it'll be the start of the great revolution."

"Hmm... I... *yawn* can't wait,"

He patted her head, "Let's sleep now,"

...

The next day came, officially being the king changed nothing for him as his work remained the same. He first looked into what the previous queen did. The calendar had plans called engagements, which included hosting heads of state, taking diplomatic trips, throwing parties at palaces, opening new sessions of Parliament, presenting citizens with awards, and a whole bunch more.

In short, the monarch did nothing other than suck on the tax money while the state made sure they feel important. Yes, as much hurting it was, it was the truth that the government and the nation didn't need the royals at all. The monarch still had things to do because the government gave it to them to not feel bored and useless.

Magnus was different however, he was a big businessman, a wizard, a military officer, and soon will be an astronaut. He hoped to be called a doctor too, someday.

He sat in his office in Buckingham Palace, it was currently being modified and secured as per his demands. He had taken an office room on the ground floor, his need was windows and natural sunlight, he got it just fine.

Ted entered with a folder in his hands, "Your Majesty, this is the progress report of all your companies. As you requested, I have called the Executive meeting and everyone will be in the FutureTek building by 2 PM."

"Good, I will go through it and head straight there. By the way, do you have any idea how rich I am?" Magnus inquired, this was a genuine question, he had no idea how much money he was making.

"Sir, your muggle assets are reportedly worth 400 billion dollars, this is not including all the property and wealth you got from dismantling Illuminati. If we add them, it's another 300 Billion. But your wealth is all in the form of companies, and pinpointing the exact amount is hard since a lot of the big companies are not public. If you were to conduct a few IPOs, I'm sure it will all exceed a trillion dollars," Ted briefed him.

Magnus took a cold breath, "How the hell did I become richer than the nation, of wait, I was always richer than the nation, probably the entire world. Mansa Musa is not even worth a penny in front of me. But, Ted, why is nobody talking about me? I'm sure there should have been a big buzz,"

"You spend 4 Billion dollars every year in influencing the world media, sir. Of course, they won't say anything against the hand that feeds them," Ted said, a reasonable assumption.

Magnus relaxed in his chair, "I wonder how much my wealth will increase once I start mining the moon and then get to that juicy asteroid. I will personally be worth trillions. But again, I spend a lot of money on uplifting nations and developing them, so it's all being used for good work.

"My only wish is for the world to not start biting me when they find out about the real wealth numbers. I hope they will see all that I have done,"

Ted nodded, the people were indeed very short-sighted, it was easier to hate the rich than see what good they did. ~Don't worry, sir. We will make sure they look in the right direction,~ he muttered to himself. After all, he ran Dragon Service, and his loyalty to Magnus was unwavering.

...

After losing hundreds of assassins, getting kicked out of a majority of Asian nations, Africa and Europe, the High Table finally decided it was time to accept the defeat.

Now that Magnus was the king, he could officially declare them a terrorist organisation. The rule of High Table was simple, never go after the world leaders, that was bad for business. Especially leaders of rich and powerful nations.

They sent word to Magnus that they would like to meet on neutral grounds. Hence, Switzerland was decided, yes, even for the High Table, it was the neutral ground.

But Magnus didn't give them time and they were biting their nails, wondering if they were going to be counter-assassinated.

...

Magnus was just too busy to give them time. He had to sort out his agenda before the space mission started, hence he came to the meeting where all the CEOs of all his companies gathered. There were in total 26 CEOs, it was an absolutely massive collection of wealth in a single room.
