Magnus was not just the King of Britain but a legend around the world. For muggles, they wondered how a man can be so awesome, for wizards, they awed his strength.

To some extent, Magnus had started to feel like he was aimless since Voldemort died. But now, he had a reason to push forward. He used to think his strength was supreme, but it was also his poison.

He had decided that after marriage in October, he would spend all the remaining months of 1972 with Emma, then he will go on a secret world tour with Duck and an army of the most highly skilled fighting wizards that worked for him.

Slowly, time passes. Magnus does not really bother with planning the wedding. Rather, he focused on the Moon and a few others. He had now personally started to go to Africa and help the creation of Great African Railways. The faster it's complete the faster the world economy can be boosted.

"Edgar, I want to fasten the rate of work. Increase the workers. The longer we take, the more Africa suffers. These nations are already pumping a significant amount of money into funding the stretches from their lands." He ordered the CEO of Emrys Construction.

"Well, it's going to cost you," Edgar said.

"I will be making a lot of money from here. Let's do it, the faster we finish here, the faster we can take up other projects," Magnus insisted.

After his small visit to Africa, he went to the Falkland Islands where a new branch of Hogwarts was being constructed. His work was now basically limited to building the world.

...

Home,

"Big brother, mum said I will have to go to school after next year, I don't wanna." Clementia rushed to Magnus, crying and looking scared.

He hugged her back, "You know, your uncle Severus will be the Headmaster there, and not just him, your big sis Emma will be the teacher for flying. Even Uncle Ragnar will be teaching Potions there. School is very important if you want to become a strong wizard one day. And don't you want to make more friends? You wished for it last Christmas,"

She rubbed her hands in nervousness, he caressed her hair, "Do you know, I am the big boss of Hogwarts. So when your big brother is the boss, what's for you to fear? I will make sure nobody dares bully you,"

"And we will beat every bully who harms our sister," Aurelia and Maximus joined in. The two were excited to go to the magical school they had heard so much about.

"Of course, that's your responsibility? Which house do you all want to get sorted into?" He asked them.

"SLYTHERIN!" They replied, Clementia also lowly muttered the same.

He ruffled their heads, "Good, but you remember my words?"

Aurelia jumped, "Me, me... I know. The house does not define who we are, we define what the house is."

"Good girl, on this, let's go shopping. Don't my munchkins want a new dress for my upcoming wedding?" He led them out.

...

In the United States, Magnus was unable to take over Intel due to anti-trust. Since Intel was a major player in the market, second only to FutureTek. However, Emrys Construction faced no problems as no evidence of bribery and forced quenching of competition came.

Still, Magnus decided that from now on the company will not take minor projects. They will restrict themselves to major national projects, skyscrapers, dams and other specialised constructions. This opened up the market for the little companies.

The United States, however, decided to invest in some infrastructure. Although Magnus had not revealed any plans for the big South American railway, President Harrison knew it was coming in a few years. Hence, he wanted to stay ahead of the curve.

So he ordered the creation of fast speed freight routes that start from the border with Mexico and go all the way to the border with Canada. Harrison had a different mindset than anybody else. He cared not which nation stays in the lead as the number one, he cared for the wellbeing of the people. As long as the world was not ruled by dictators, he was fine. Not to mention, now that the UK was emerging as a big military power, the US didn't have to spend so much on the Defence budget.

So, due to him, the UK was free to keep rising.

...

Time slowly passed, in the week of September, right on the birthday of Emma. It was announced that Magnus will be marrying his girlfriend, Emma Vanity. A girl from the family of an industrialist/nobility.

Emma's drone was already revealed to the world long ago and the news remembered it. The name "Family of Geniuses" has a new member now.

It was somewhat of a tradition to give an interview after the announcement of the engagement. So Magnus went ahead to give it with his dear Emma. BBC News was decent enough to organise it right inside the Palace. It was not a live interview though.

The questions were normal, like what they planned on doing or how they met.

"Well, after the wedding, I'm going to take my dear wife on a nice long holiday trip. Been so busy these days that I couldn't give time to family. Don't want that anymore." Magnus revealed.

Emma meanwhile told them about their love story, "We met in our boarding school. Initially, I thought he was snobbish just because of his background. But then we actually talked and became great friends. We only started dating 5 years later, however. We're great together, in all these years, not even once we had a fight or misunderstanding. We have a rule of being blunt to each other."

The interview was supposed to give a glance into the lives of the royals for the general public. Once done, the preparations for the wedding day got faster.

...

When October came, the mornings started to get slightly colder, but not enough to make the shorts-wearing lads stop their morning runs. The streets slowly got busier, paperboys, milk delivery tucks and garbage pickers hurried to finish their work.

Today, no tourists were allowed in front of Buckingham Palace since King Magnus was getting married. However, just that morning, banger news was released to the world. The first-ever Forbes 400 magazines' richest list.

In it, Magnus' name was at the top, but instead of there being a number, a simple "???" was written. Under it was a short paragraph. "King Pendragon is guessed to be the richest man in the world(excluding his royal assets). It's hard to estimate since most of his companies are private. But if all of these companies were to go public today, we believe it's likely to hit a trillion dollars.

Then was the name of the second richest, it was Brandon Steel Armstrong, his name too had "???" and his wealth was estimated at 69 Billion Dollars. In contrast, the third richest had a measly 1 Billion of wealth.

Magnus immediately ordered all news media across the world to start damage fixing. It was supposed to be told to the world that the numbers were absolute trash. But it was true Magnus had a lot of money, after all, he used this money to build the greatest hospitals in the world, the greatest infrastructure in the UK and around the world. It was his money that brought back UK's economy to the 2nd position in the world, defeating Japan.

After that, Magnus focused on his wedding. He'd deal with this magazine later.

...

Westminster Abbey, formally titled the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster. It was the location where most of the royal weddings take place.

Today, it was fully decorated with flowers and colourful curtains. Various kinds of chandeliers hung from the ceiling, making the place more charming. Although the decoration is usually modest, Magnus went overboard.

But this was the simplest part. Taking the vows and completing the ceremony was simply the official thing. Magnus cared not for them and wanted to get over it.

So, he awaited his dear girl. She entered with her father beside her and walked to the altar. The Archbishop was there to officiate the marriage according to the norms.

Emma looked fabulously beautiful in her red gown. Her silver eyes sparkled with the lights. In her mind, it all seemed like a dream. ~Hah, can't believe I hated him in the first year, now I'm marrying him.~ she chuckled to herself.

Magnus too looked handsome in his ceremonial military attire. He looked at her walk with great anticipation. Although they were no less than a married couple already, this ceremony will hold them together forever in the public's eyes. ~Can't believe I used to give her a cold shoulder for so long, yet she stayed by my side. Damn, I love this girl.~

Soon the music ended and she reached him. Magnus extended his hand for her to hold. She reached out. He firmly gripped it, wanting to never let it go.

*cough* "Shall we proceed, your majesty?" Archbishop coughed.

Magnus realised he and Emma had been standing still staring into each other's eyes for over a minute now. He let her hand go and took his position.

"Yes, please continue," he approved.
