Mostly, everyone, there was amazed and excited about this future technology. Today, everyone in the room truly felt that the name "FutureTek Industries" seriously suited it.

"Thank you, your highness, but I believe most of us know about fusion." The man who spoke was a rocket scientist, the current Prime Minister of India, APJ Abdul Kalam(A/N: He was a real person, but never became the Prime Minister, rather the President, it's a powerless position.)

Adam chuckled, "I know, Mr Prime Minister, but there are still a few who could not study science, yes, I am talking about you, King Faisal,"

Faisal laughed, "Haha, give this old man a break, in my whole career first I had to lead troops to fight and consolidate control over Arabia. Then I had to worry about the economy, thanks to Magnus the oil brought enough money later and helped the nation. Now I have free time and I am never going to bash my brain on books. I pray, eat, exercise and sleep, that's all."

"It's all right, most people don't understand the science of this level, even Magnus does not," Adam replied and stopped the presentation. But shots were fired, Magnus' brows furrowed as King Faisal laughed in the background.

"Huh, who cares if I don't understand nuclear physics, I am close to creating a cure for cancer," Magnus proclaimed.

(●__●)⚆_⚆(•ˋ _ ˊ•)◉_◉( ╯□╰ )( ̄▽ ̄)"(⊙﹏⊙)

They all stopped smiling and looked at him with serious expressions. Magnus folded his arms together and sat straight in pride.

Bobby was the first to react, "BLOODY HELL! You didn't tell me that, a cure for cancer can make you more money than this reactor, and fast."

But Magnus had other plans, "The patents will be in the public domain for all, and I will just be making money to return my investments in them. A year ago I went to a hospital once and saw a room filled with kids with cancer, all of them are dead or on the verge of dying now.

"I promised that day that I would save them, but I could not, making the cure with muggle tech is too complex. But I don't want more kids to die," He looked at the reactor, "We have reached the moon to mine it, we are building energy of the future here. The world will be vastly different 50 years from now, maybe we will really have flying cars. I want these kids to have a chance to see it.

"That's all I want from my new invention." He remembered his meeting with that old man in the park, the day he found out about his magic problem. He had no idea if he would see the world 50 years from now, but he wanted others to see all that he achieved.

He glanced at his staff, the envy of the wizarding world and a big aspect of his strength, "It doesn't matter if they didn't know I am behind the new world, as long as my dream of a united and peaceful world is fulfilled, I won't mind being a simple forgotten name in a history book."

"Now I feel like crying," Bobby muttered.

From the seat behind, Ted put his hand on his shoulder. He saw Magnus grow from a boy in 1st year of school to this mighty and just king. "You are immortal in the wizarding world, your majesty. And I believe that once you release this drug for all, the muggle world too will remember you no matter how far in the future we go. Because this creation will be even bigger than penicillin. But I don't know how we can achieve its affordability, especially in nations like America,"

Magnus nodded, "America is extremely capitalistic. President Ford can't meddle there yet or he will lose support. I have other options and all Harrison needs to do is sign it."

"What do you need?" Harrison asked.

"Allow Generic drugs to be sold openly and launch government programmes to distribute them safely. Make sure that pharma companies can't spread false campaigns to tarnish the image of generic drugs. India and China have huge medicine production facilities, I will mass-produce them, along with soon launching vaccines for Malaria and many other diseases. Before I die, I want to make as many vaccines and cures possible with the help of my mother to make sure humanity faces fewer chances of extinction from a disease." Magnus told them in brief.

"I will do it, about time Americans get a good return to health for the taxes they pay," Harrison agreed immediately.

"China might not agree," Adrian told him. "They are planning things against you for the new gas company you built."

"I don't care, I won't make these medicines there yet, only after I have some control there I will. After all, can't have diluted medicine or vaccine reach the market and tarnish my image. *sigh* all right, let's watch the experiment now." He pulled back their attention.

But all present there had their minds being exploded with images and thoughts about the future. They felt pumped and confident about the future, about Magnus, feeling it was the best decision to follow him. Unknown to them, this boost came from the sword Magnus had beside it.

"Pour the power in, let the reaction reach stable." Adam voiced to other men and women running around and keeping a check on machines.

They needed to push the reactor until it became self-sustaining. This occurs when the energy being given off by the fusion reactions heats the fuel mass more rapidly than various loss mechanisms that cool it.

This means it makes energy faster than it loses it. This way, the energy from the reaction can keep the reaction going while the excess energy can be harvested for the puny humans.

"LEVEL ONE REACHED! IT'S DONE!" The technician shouted with excitement.

Bobby explained to all in the room, "They have reached the self-sustaining phase, this means the reactor works. Now they need to reach the energy needs they designed the reactor for, if it reaches that then it means it works. We shall try to make a bigger one later. The current biggest reactor is in France, it can produce 900 Megawatts. We want a reactor that can produce from 1000 to 1200 Megawatts."

Just as he was explaining, claps resounded in the experiment chamber. Adam looked at Magnus and gave a thumbs up. This made him stand up and clap too.

"It's done, they reached 500 Megawatt target. Congratulations, Bobby. It seems the morning papers will be full of your praises." Magnus shook his hand. After all, without Bobby pushing for all this and getting all the right people to work, this would have been successful.

They all moved down to see the whole reactor unit themselves, or at least the part that could be seen. It sure was very noisy, however. Adam walked to Magnus and shook hands, "Thanks for the help this morning, son. Your trick was of great help, I'm sure we would have destroyed the machines otherwise."

He shrugged, "I just told Adrian to do it, and it's Rag you should thank for providing the Liquid Luck."

Bobby was excited as soon as he found out about this, "Woah, so this is why all the scientists were stumbling upon flaws in the hardware and software all this morning before the test. Tell Rag I will pay him to keep making these potions. I will use them before all major tests."

Adrian too desired it, "Yes, it will help with making the AM engine,"

"You know what, I will fix an appointment for you two with Rag and Sev, they make the best potions. I am going home now, Emma can go into labour at any moment, I want to be there. Oh, Bobby, your mum called me and asked me to find you a good girlfriend," Magnus was ready to leave.

"Go, son. Emma needs you. I will handle things here," Adam pushed him, knowing how important this was.

Bobby red-faced, ran to walk with him, "The hell, she did that? I thought she was kidding with me yesterday,"

"She's not wrong, Bobby. If the last one turned out bad that does not mean all are bad. You just learnt a lesson. Never date a celebrity, they don't tend to be... very smart. Find a girl with a passion for science. You need to start dating, do it for a few years and if you like her, ask for marriage." Magnus advised him from his experience. He gave ample time to Emma after all.

Sighing, Bobby stopped, "I guess you are right. I will be turning 24 soon. See you later, I will head back."

It was currently November of 1984 starting and Emma was given the date of somewhere in the middle of November. The three gremlins were planning to head to Hogwarts earlier but since their 11th birthday occurs on December 25th, they were still not considered for school. This meant they'd go to Hogwarts in 1985 when they would be just 3 months short of their 12th birthday. It was a nonsense rule but Magnus didn't change it just because he wanted it, besides, this gave them time to witness being aunts and uncle.
