Maximus, Aurelia and Clementia looked out of the window, the train travelled through open fields and into the mountains. The view was amazing and it made them excited. They had never been to the school.

"Why is nobody else coming here to sit?" Aurelia wondered. She wanted to make new friends.

"Maybe they are scared of us?" Maximus wondered.

*WOOSH*

Just then the door opened and a girl appeared. She seemed to be the same age as them and acted shy. They could hear murmurs of other people outside. The girl spoke, "I-I... I am...I am Barbara, nice to meet you and... can you help me get the book signed by his majesty?"

"You came here to get our brother's autograph? But we won't be seeing him until the month's end, but if you want, I can sign it, I practised big brother's signature once, I think I am pretty good at it now." Maximus said.

"T-Thank you, there are 20 books..." Barbara pushed forward a big stack.

Aurelia smelled something fishy, "Hmm... I understand now, come here and sit with us. You don't need to listen to other people, I know they bullied you and pushed you to ask for this. Hmph... I already hate them,"

She pulled the shy girl and sandwiched her between herself and Clementia. Maximus nodded, "Yes, you can sit with us. Nobody will ever bully you then. Oh, by the way, Big brother Ragnar and Magnus gave me lunchboxes full of pancakes and chicken."

...

Making their first friend, they soon arrived at the Hogsmeade station. Hagrid was, as always, the gatekeeper of Hogwarts.

"Firs' years... Come here," the gentle giant walked across the platform with the big lantern in his hand.

"Woah, is this the famous giant of Hogwarts? Big brother Ragnar said he could nail a man to the ground by stomping on the head." Maximus was in awe of the beardy man.

Hagrid heard him clearly, "Bwahaha... I don' harm kiddies. Ye mus' be the little gremlins Magnus was talkin' abou',"

"He seems so nice," Clementia commented while she stood behind Aurelia.

"You must be Clementia. Now, get in line with others and follow me." Hagrid led all the kids to the boats. Then they rowed straight to the castle. As with Magnus, when the three looked at the castle lit up in light, they were in awe. But sadly, they live in Camelot and no castle was much more amazing than that.

"I bet our house can hold ten castles like this," Aurelia muttered.

"No, I'd say 20," Maximus added.

On the boat were the three and their new friend Barbara. She was wondering what house they were talking about since Magnus lives in Buckingham palace and it wasn't even that big.

"What are you talking about? Buckingham Palace is not that big," she asked.

"Huh, we don't live there, we *BAM*" Maximus instantly received a smack to his head from Clementia. She was a strict rule-following girl and remembered everything that Magnus taught them before coming here.

Maximus looked down, "I was saying, we have many more castles than just Buckingham Palace, for example, Windsor Castle."

With awkward silence taking over, they rowed the boat to the shore. Soon enough, they arrived at the door leading to the Great Hall. There stood an old woman.

"Good evening and welcome to Hogwarts, children. I am professor Sprout, the deputy headmistress of Hogwarts Scotland. Beyond this door is the great hall where each of you will be sorted into a house with the help of a sorting hat. Now, by law, I am supposed to inform you that each of you is allowed to ask the hat for any house if you are particularly interested in one. If you are confused, then let the hat decide. But it does not matter which house you go to, in the past they used to be very different from one another but now they are nearly the same.

"Now please follow me in." Professor Sprout led them inside.

About 400 new 1st years were joining this year, this number was a lot more than previous years. The death of Voldemort and peace across magical Britain was a big contributor to it. Not to mention, now the United Kingdom was much bigger.

One after another, kids started to get sorted. The names were called alphabet-wise. Aurelia was among the first 5. She skipped to the high stool, fluttering her long blonde hair and took a seat.

The Sorting Hat tried to seem intelligent. But Aurelia had too much dirt on him, "Big brother said you never bath, I hope I don't go bald because of you sitting on my head,"

(* ̄︿ ̄)

"Ah, another Pendragon. No, you won't go bald anymore. I was drycleaned not long ago, the new headmaster is very strict and has obsessive-compulsive disorder." Sorting Hat said.

Aurelia was angry, "What do you mean by "anymore"? Did you make kids bald before being washed? I will tell big brother Sev about what you said,"

"Ahaha... I was just kidding, sweet little dragon child. Which house do you want to go to?"

"Do I have to say that too? So much for being a sorting hat, hmph!. I want to go to the mighty Slytherin house, the same one where my brother went." She demanded like the princess she was.

"SLYTHERIN!"

Claps resounded from the Slytherin house table. Soon after Clementia's turn came. But as soon as the hat took place on her head, it started sweating, as if a dragon was looking at him from behind him, claws slowing inching closer.

"I do not want to be shredded to pieces for messing with you, child. SLYTHERIN!" Sorting hat screamed, its voice breaking.

Then after a long time, Maximus' turn came. He grunted, "Ugh... you stink."

"Of course, I didn't expect anything else from you. What's with all the blonde ones in your family? SLYTHERIN!" it announced once again.

There was really not much of a question to be asked. All teachers and senior students knew that the prince and princesses of the Pendragon family would go to this house. Heck, they were already called Prince and Princess of Slytherin.

Even the new friend the trio made decided to go to Slytherin.

...

The ceremony took half an hour to complete. Then Severus walked to the podium where a mic stood tall with a golden symbol of a dragon on it. He was a bit different from Dumbledore, he was a fun and understanding guy but he would never be as frank.

"I welcome the first years to the school and the older students' return. Albus Dumbledore has retired from the position of Headmaster and lives his life in peace. Now the responsibility falls on my head.

"I will not just be the headmaster but also the Potions professor of the school. If any of you ever face a problem with anything in the school, you can directly contact me.

"I wish you all wonderful times in school. Let the feast begin," he kept it short and headed back to take his seat at the dinner table.

But he did notice three particular students at the Slytherin table relentlessly waving their hands at him and showing big smiles. He sighed and tried to ignore them, it was best to look impartial, after all.

...

The next day, Charms class.

Charms class was the first for them. Slytherin and Gryffindor were to take these together. There was still some rivalry going on between the two houses but it was not as toxic as before. Nobody was doing crazy pranks anymore.

The new charms teacher asked a question just to see the level of knowledge students had, "Can anybody tell me what's the spell for levitating things?"

The professor looked at the kids. He already knew who knew the answer and who didn't by a look at their faces. He saw Clementia sitting with their back straight, fully attentive and confident. After all, she knew the answer.

"Ah, miss Pendragon... I mean miss Clementia, do you know the answer?" He asked.

She silently nodded.

"Then please tell the class," the professor said.

Clementia stood up confidently. However, just then anxiety kicked in. This was a problem many people with extreme anxiety face, they hate being the centre of attention of people.

Sensing so many eyes at her, all her confidence left the body. Her hands started to shiver and she looked down at the desk, "I-It's W... Wi..."

She struggled to say it loud enough for people to hear. At that moment, a foolish Gryffindor boy decided to make fun of her, "Haha, liar-liar pants on fire, look at her, she clearly doesn't know the answer. So what if she's the sister of the greatest wizard, that status won't help you in school."

A few chuckles were briefly heard in the classroom. The professor seemed to have the same thought, "Sit back, Miss Clementia, focus on the class, I will be teaching the char..."

Clementia was saddened, angered and frustrated. She wanted to speak, but words just won't come out of her mouth. 11 year old and having extreme anxiety and being a magical empath, this made her tearful.

This was unacceptable. "YOU MADE HER CRY!" Maximus jumped on the Slytherin boy. Aurelia followed next. *BAM* *BAM* Two punches went straight to his face.

After punching the boy up. Aurelia went back to Clementia, "Use your wand to write the answer,"

Clementia nodded and waved her wand in the air. She wrote Wingardium Leviosa.

Aurelia scoffed at the boy, "See, she knew the answer. I guess some people just lack patience. I doubt you will ever achieve anything in magic with that attitude. Hmph. Professor, I shall go to Headmaster's office with Maximus, we will be called there anyway."
