On Athena's 2nd birthday, Magnus decided to inaugurate the British History Museum. There was a special section named Arthur Pendragon. In it, there was a big wall with a timeline of Arthur's whole life. There were various swords, crowns, armours and other artefacts. Heck, Merlin was also given a place but it was said that he was a warrior and a healer/chemist. He helped win wars with the use of chemicals.

A replica of the entire Round Table was created with wax statues of all members sitting around it. Magnus tried not to add any mythical items but he did add things that would get the historians thinking about the past.

Then there were segments as the time progressed, all the next kings and queens came. Magnus didn't hide the colonial past either and addressed it for what it was. There was no point in hiding it. He announced that all artefacts that were taken from colonies will be returned as long as they can assure that they will be taken care of and put in museums for people to see. After all, what was the point of returning if they will just be destroyed?

Then finally there was a section for Magnus and his parents. There were wax statues of Adam, Grace, Magnus, Ragnar and Emma. Triplets and Athena will get theirs when they grow into adults.

There were a lot of things that signified all the inventions Magnus and his family made. But many more were to come.

...

"Happy Birthday, my dear Athena," Magnus kissed hir daughter's cheeks. She giggled joyfully.

All kids were together, it was thanksgiving so the triplets were back as well. A warm little party was held in Camelot for her birthday. She was dressed in a cute white princess dress, with a little crown placed on her head. She looked more like an angel than a princess.

Emma went crazy clicking pictures of her while others fawned over. There was not much they could give her as a gift other than toys.

Ragnar, however, gave her a talking teddy bear who could recite her poems whenever she felt bored. He was probably one of the most creative members of the family.

"You three, how is your school going? I am not getting any complaints anymore." Magnus asked the gremlins.

They tried to look away, "Hehe, everything's fine, big brother. The Slytherin common room is so fun. There are so many photos of you all around the school."

"And there is a lesson in the History of Magic about you, big brother. It tells how you defeated one thousand werewolves and Voldemort." Clementia added, her eyes shining in pure pride she felt about him.

"Haha, that was such a long time ago. All right, no talk about school now. We are holding a competition for eating chicken and pancakes. Whoever wins gets a cash prize."

...

1986 ended soon. Magnus and his family continued their work with nothing new or major happening. Of course, every once in a while some news media house would post something they should not that could hamper the growth of the world, they would be put down.

In the year 1987, one major thing happened. Magnus by now had a good control over Christianity around the world now. The pope was his guy. Buddhists were also pretty much at peace, the Dalai Lama was brought into the fold. Hinduism was also controlled with the help of a few religious leaders in India and Nepal. Israel was a happy little Jewish place. Islam didn't have a focal point at this point, Magnus helped in that too. There was an organisation called OIC, all Islamic nations were a part of it. The organisation unanimously elected a new head, naming him Caliph. It was an old rank that was abolished a long time ago after WW1 ended with Ottoman Empire being destroyed.

Caliph is the chief Muslim civil and religious ruler. In earlier times it was only supposed to be made with the authority of god. But slowly the rank became more political than religious.

They elected Haitham Khaalid al-Muhammad al-Aziz as the Caliph of Ummah. Ummah means Muslim World. The man would act as a focal point for Muslims around the world, he would lead them into a future full of progress, peace and prosperity.

Magnus, however, had to make sure that all religious leaders were under his complete iron grasp because if even one of them went rogue, that would cause extreme destruction.

...

The year 1988 was the next, it was highly important for Magnus as this year the giant Great African Railways was going to be launched. The tracks had been laid down, they were all electrified. The train engines for now were going to be electric based as the Nuclear Fusion reactor was still in its initial phase, miniaturising it would take years.

But Fusion reactors were already up and running in the UK, from Scotland to Zimbabwe, from Belize to Brunei. Fusion reactors accounted for 40% of the UK's power needs, Fission Reactors accounted for 45% of energy needs, rest 10% were from the windmill and hydroelectric dams. Only 5% was from fossil fuels.

The railway system was going to bring trillions of dollars into the African region and also make Magnus richer. At this point, he even stopped trying to see how rich he was. He had already surpassed the wealth of the richest fictional characters ever made in comics. Heck, he might even surpass the rest in a few years once he starts mining the asteroids.

In the capital of Zimbabwe, Magnus arrived to inaugurate the train system. It was a major developed city by now and one of the main hubs for the train system. Zimbabwe alone supported 30% of the UK's GDP of 3.45 Trillion(745 Billion in our world).

The United Kingdom had come a long way and was not too far from the American GDP at this stage. Americans had 4.85 Trillion. But it was worth mentioning that the average GDP per capita in the UK was much higher.

He stood in front of a small crowd on a stage. Behind him was a giant locomotive designed by Adam and manufactured by his company. "Everyone, this steel behemoth behind me is not a simple train, it's the future of Africa. This continent, which was the cradle of humanity, evolution and so much more will finally see true prosperity.

"While conserving nature and also developing cities, towns and roads, we will have Africa that's rich and yet true to its roots. On this occasion, I am glad to not just announce the start of this train but also some other projects.

"A similar railway is going to be constructed in the American continents, going from Canada to Argentina. Other than this, a trans-Europe line will be made, going from the UK to Russia and all the way to the Northern parts of Korea. One more line will be made for Asia and the Middle East, going from Thailand to India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, then heading to Europe through Syria and Turkey. In Europe, it will travel through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Belgium and then end up in the United Kingdom.

"There will be hundreds of feeder lines along the way. With this, the cost of shipping and connectivity will be greatly enhanced since trains are much faster than ships. Not to mention, ships create more pollution. However, ships will not become irrelevant as these train lines can only help countries that lack a port or are too big to have access to ports all around.

"With this, the entire world shall know prosperity." [A/N: Lol. This is the reverse Pain from Naruto.]

Claps resounded and clicks of cameras made noises. Magnus headed to cut the ribbon in front of the locomotive and got into the pilot's cabin. It was spacious with all kinds of luxury. It had comfortable leather seats with big windows for a great view, the cabin was fully air-conditioned, there was a full bath with a toilet and even a tiny kitchen with freezer and microwave. There was also a cabin with two sleeping beds with noise cancellations. A single train will be handled by 3 men at a time. 2 will be the main pilots and one will be the conductor/pilot.

This was because an average time to complete the full journey from one end to the other would require at least 4-6 days. But the pilots were going to be treated like plane pilots, they will have to leave their urine samples before boarding the trains, they have to wear a special watch that will notify them about when they should sleep and wake up. The salaries were going to be great too, so all this was worth it.

Although the computers were there to help and automate a lot of things, humans were still needed to operate them. The machines were not yet that reliable.

Magnus sat down by the pilot seat and looked at the changing view outside. The greenery and the desert lands of Africa, the train ran on elevated tracks in a number of places. The experience was truly mesmerising. This was the fruit of his hard world.

~I hope I can keep developing the world. I wonder if dad will get the AM engine up and running so I can at least see Mars before I die.~ he muttered to himself.

He opened the door and walked outside the pilot cabin and stood at the front of the train on the covered platform edge. The air brushed past his face, his hair and beard fluttered. He looked at the shiny blue clear sky, ~I think I've done great up until now. Take that, Merlin.~

Merlin in the locket, who had not spoken in years, chuckled, "Haha, I gladly accept defeat this time, Magnus. You splendidly outdid me."
