But Magnus cared not to think about all this, he just returned to Earth, this time on a real rocket as too many eyes would be on him. Since reusable rockets were a thing, a soft verticle landing brought them straight to the ground at the Belize base.
A tall movable lift was placed there for them to come out. But, it was a reality that the human body needs time to adapt. None of the astronauts that were not wizards could stand up straight. Magnus, Ragnar and the two other wizards were used to the apparition, portkey and their bodies being stressed beyond humanly possible, hence they were more resilient.
The space station staff helped each one of them to walk out and brought them down. Magnus, though, didn't need any help. He just wanted to go home quickly and hug his family.
They were first taken to a quarantine facility where they were all disinfected. Then they were to sit down and give a press briefing about their health and experience, signing a few portraits of themselves to be put on a new wall of fame that was not reserved for future Mars Missions. Magnus' photo remained in the first place for being the first man on Mars.
After that, without waiting for a day, Magnus and Ragnar portkeyed to Camelot.
