Chapter 22: Pillow Fight and Awakened Desires

Taking a long-haul flight is a tough task, especially when crossing multiple time zones. It can easily cause fatigue due to jet lag. Nancy chose to go to London on the weekend to help everyone adjust to the time difference faster and better.

However, Angela was filled with excitement ever since they boarded the plane. Sitting beside her was her talkative sister, Julia Roberts. Julia rarely acted in Napa Valley and had another movie to work on, so she left after completing all her scenes. This left the little girl feeling disappointed as she wished she had written more scenes for herself and her beloved sister to act together.

"Yes, I came to Hollywood because of my brother, Eric. If it weren't for him, I might have pursued a career as a veterinarian," Julia remarked with a smile.

"In that case, we should write a letter of gratitude to Mr. Eric. Hollywood would be deprived of one less beautiful lady," the little girl replied, returning the smile.

"No, no, Angela, you don't understand. Eric always gets himself into trouble. My irresponsible brother had a baby girl with his girlfriend four months ago, and neither of them wants to take care of the child. I had to temporarily entrust the child to Elizabeth and the others. If they continue like this, poor Emma doesn't know what her future will be like," Julia explained helplessly.

Emma? Could it be Emma Roberts? The little girl touched her chin, squinted her eyes, and it seemed to be true. The rising star had appeared in "Nancy Drew" and other movies before her rebirth. Oh, how amusing it would be to see her as a baby now!

"You may be young, Angela, but you need to learn to protect yourself. You have a mature mind, but there are still things that can harm you. You must be cautious," Julia suddenly said, likely thinking about her poor little niece.

Angela was taken aback. They were having a pleasant conversation, so how did they end up here? But then she understood. It seemed that the gossipmongers from the "Captain Hawk" crew had stirred up some rumors again. Could it be that even the renowned Mr. Spielberg couldn't handle such impolite matters?

"Alright, Elder Sister, you don't have to worry about those things. The more you worry, the more they thrive. You'll prove yourself!" Angela exclaimed, waving her little fist.

"Did Maggie tell you about it?" Julia looked at the little girl in surprise. She was a resilient person herself. After going through ups and downs, she had become even more determined. The reason for her vulnerability at that moment was simply because she cared about the little girl. When someone exposes their true feelings, they often appear weaker than usual, don't they?

"I live in Los Angeles, chatty sister" The little girl shrugged, indicating that she was well aware of the situation.

Julia couldn't help but laugh, ruffling the girl's hair and saying, "You, little girl, always thinking so much. Do you have to take everything upon yourself?"

Angela stuck out her tongue and shifted her gaze. "Then how about I write a script for you?"

After all, "Sleepless in Seattle" absolutely had to be written—leaving it on the back burner and waiting was the worst option. It would be better to write and shoot it as soon as possible, and she could rest easy. And since she was writing a script for her beloved sister, she couldn't be unfair to her, right?

Of course, given Elder Sister's current circumstances, she might not be able to portray a single mother perfectly in "Never Compromise" but "My Best Friend's Wedding" or "Notting Hill" would be absolutely fine.

"You'll write a script for me?" Julia continued to be astonished. When they boarded the plane, she overheard Nancy mention that Angela had written another script, presumably for Meg. She was genuinely curious how this young girl could have so many ideas swirling in her head.
"Of course!" Angela straightened her chest, looking proud, and then gave Julia a quizzical look. "You don't believe me?"

"Oh, I absolutely believe you. So, what kind of script are you planning to write?" Julia affectionately pinched her cheeks, just like an older sister would.

"It's a secret for now. You'll find out when I finish writing it," the little girl blinked her eyes, intentionally trying to arouse curiosity. In reality, she hadn't decided yet whether to write "My Best Friend's Wedding," "Runaway Bride," or "Notting Hill." She still needed to finish "Sleepless in Seattle" before she could move on to the next one.

"Alright, let's get some sleep. We still need to adjust to the time difference," her talkative Sister said, unperturbed. She called the flight attendant and requested two blankets, covering the little girl and giving her a kiss on the forehead as she bid her goodnight. Then she reclined her seat and settled in to rest. After all the talking, Angela was feeling tired as well. Naturally, she wished everyone goodnight and soon drifted off to sleep.

...

After crossing eight time zones, the plane finally touched down at Heathrow Airport in the early morning hours. The crew members were all yawning incessantly. Despite their agreement to come to London, complaints were inevitable.

Soon, following Nancy's arrangements, everyone checked into the Ibis Hotel. Exhausted, they all hurried to their rooms to rest, including Angela, who shared a room with Jessica.

"Angie, don't just lie in bed. Come and take a look at the night view with me," Jessica, who had managed to get more sleep on the plane and was relatively more energized. She crawled near the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing curiously outside. However, at this moment, the sky was just starting to brighten, and London appeared blurry under the glow of the streetlights.

Meanwhile, the little girl lay sprawled on the bed, barely mustering the energy to prop herself up when she heard Jessica's invitation. She rubbed her eyes and mumbled, "Forget it, Jessie. If you want to go shopping tomorrow early, it's better to get some sleep."

As she spoke, she absentmindedly began undressing. However, when she was left with only a tight-fitting shirt and a pair of briefs, a soft object suddenly hit her back, startling her. She turned around to see Jessica holding a snow-white pillow in one hand, giving her an intense glare while provocatively beckoning with her finger. "Hey, little girl, do you dare to fight me?!"

With that expression, that posture, and that gesture, was she suggesting a pillow fight? Angela arched her eyebrows, her drowsiness completely vanishing after that surprise. She immediately grabbed the pillow from the other bed and lunged at Jessica. You see, every time their pajama parties turned into pillow fights, she always emerged as the victor!

The two little girls giggled and playfully hit each other on the bed. Thank goodness they didn't burst any pillows, otherwise, there would be extra charges on tomorrow's hotel bill.

The single bed was not spacious, making it difficult to dodge. Every strike hit its mark directly, rendering it impossible to determine a winner. In the end, the little girl found the right moment, suddenly releasing the pillow and attempting to pounce on Jessica, just as she had done in the past to pin her down. But unexpectedly, Jessica slipped when Angela caught her, and the two mischievous girls screamed as they tumbled off the bed, embracing each other.

"Angie, my butt hurts," Jessica gasped for breath as she lay on the ground, looking up at Angela.

Angela had successfully pinned her down, but with her disheveled hair, she appeared even more disheveled than Jessica herself, which brought a smile to Jessica's face.

"This is the punishment you deserve, Jessie. From now on, you're at my mercy!" Angela playfully teased, holding Jessica down and humming.

Jessica giggled but didn't respond verbally. Her face turned rosy, making her look incredibly adorable and enticing. Angela couldn't quite explain the strange feeling that welled up inside her. It was only then that she noticed Jessica, like herself, was only dressed in a tight-fitting shirt and panties. Their sweat had soaked through their shirts, and the faint scent of their bodies mixed with the smell of perspiration filled their nostrils. Angela couldn't discern if it was her own scent or Jessica's.

Suddenly, without explanation, the little girl leaned down and lightly kissed Jessica's lips. Her lips felt soft, with a slight tingling sensation. Jessica froze she stared at Angela in confusion.

Angela's face also turned rosy, but she didn't show any signs of distress. She gazed at the bewildered Jessica and chuckled, "Are you scared by something so harmless?"

She then got up and said, "I'm going to take a shower. You can join me later, and then we'll quickly go to sleep."

With that, she disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Jessica lying on the floor, feeling a bit dazed. Why did she feel an electric shock from that kiss?

As soon as Angela closed the bathroom door, she held her head, now throbbing with a headache. "Oh my God, what was I thinking? Is this inappropriate behavior with a young girl?"

There was nothing inherently wrong with girls playing around and kissing each other. Although most of the time it was innocent cheek kisses, there were instances of kissing on the lips too. Angela's strong reaction stemmed from her previous mindset in her past life.

Thankfully, after calming down and looking at herself in the mirror, she regained her composure. Jessica didn't seem to be greatly affected either. It was better to take a shower quickly and get some sleep.

She undressed swiftly, but perhaps due to the earlier kiss, she suddenly felt a hint of shyness. As she looked at her naked reflection in the dressing mirror, she experienced a rare sense of embarrassment she hadn't felt in her eleven years. However, something seemed off.

Angela carefully examined herself in the mirror, then looked down at her own body. The more she observed, the more certain she became that something was definitely not right. Her chest appeared to have grown by half a circle. Could it be... was she beginning to develop?!

This realization hit her like a bolt of lightning, leaving her momentarily stunned. Though her ability to think remained intact, she was left dumbfounded.

The reason she hadn't paid much attention to becoming a girl all these years was that she was still young, and aside from one significant difference in her body, there wasn't much distinction from being a boy.

But now, with the onset of her development... she could almost envision herself strutting down the street with a shapely figure! Angela shuddered with disgust and quickly exclaimed, "Absolutely not! I hope I remain flat-chested in the future! Small butt! Narrow waist!"

However, as soon as those words escaped her lips, an even stranger sensation welled up within her. She blinked in confusion, seeing her own reflection mirroring her bewilderment. Suddenly, she leaped up in terror, waving her hands at the mirror. "No, no, no! What I just said doesn't count!" How could she curse herself like that?

As she spoke, she noticed her reflection in the mirror also wore a terrified expression. She couldn't help but let out a bitter smile and roll her eyes. "Damn it, I'm losing it again!"

Letting out a sigh, she finally regained some composure. She reached out to turn on the showerhead when, with a crack, the bathroom door opened once more. Like most girls her age, Angela shrieked and instinctively curled up, shielding her modesty. This startled Jessica, who had just entered.

"Angie? What's wrong?" Jessica looked bewildered. The playful atmosphere from earlier had made her drowsy, and she had ended up dozing off on the floor. She had come over to take a shower and go to bed.

"Oh my God, why did you barge in without knocking?" Angela's face turned red once again. "What are you doing here?"

"Taking a shower and going to bed," Jessica shrugged and began undressing.

"Taking... a shower?" Angela was taken aback. Before she could say much, Jessica had already stripped naked and confidently approached Angela, turning on the showerhead. Her young and tender body was fully exposed, still flat like most children her age, but the faint outline of her future figure could already be discerned.

Angela found herself unable to utter a single word, her blush spreading from her face to her neck. In the past eleven years, she had never showered with anyone other than her mother. Though Jessica was just a little girl like herself, under normal circumstances, it might have made her feel self-conscious. But just a moment ago, she herself...

"Angie, can you help me wash my back?" Jessica's voice interrupted her thoughts.

Angela wanted to refuse but couldn't find the right words, so she cautiously approached, eyes closed, holding a towel and gently pressing it against Jessica's back.

Each touch of the smooth and tender skin sent a jolt through Angela's heart, stirring a growing desire within her. If she hadn't been silently repeating to herself, "This is me, I'm washing my own back!" who knows what might have transpired.

Finally, Jessica finished washing. She dried herself with a towel, too tired to pay much attention to Angela. She bid her goodnight and went to bed.

At that moment, Angela, who had been breathing heavily, finally relaxed. She quickly rinsed herself and turned off the lights, eager to sleep.

However, as she drifted off, Jessica's sleep talk resonated from the other bed in the room, her dream-induced words softly echoing through the room.
