" I will! Here." the girl handed Isabella her phone. It was those qwerty-type phones with tiny screens, it was hard to make out the details, but fortunately, there was a zoom-in feature.
"Isn't he handsome? I think they look good together!"
" He is? I can't make out his face. Where do you get this?"

At that time, several cars entered the compound. A total of ten highly modified SUVs lined up in front of their gate, and the people got quiet, looking at such a display. They could tell from one look that the vehicles were expensive. Just who is this young man?
" I think it's better to see him in person." Isabella smiled.

Samuel looked through the window to see an exciting crowd. It was quite a variety as people of all ages were gathered around to 'welcome' him.
Whether it be a warm welcome or something else was still undecided. He could clearly see several holding firearms and noticed others' bulging pants, probably hiding some weapons. Some were already giving him nasty looks with folding arms.
Did he do something to offend them already? He didn't know they were just jealous about him getting on with Liliana.
" Boss, We should probably get out first to form a perimeter. I can see they are a violent bunch." Steve suggested.
" No. It's alright. We should get off at the same time. They are trying to scare us; nonetheless, stay focused.
" But, there could be hidden dangers-"
" Don't worry. There are none." Samuel had already scanned the area. After so many years, he could cover a decent amount of space with his titles.
" As you wish." Steve didn't know why he was so confident, but he knew that his boss, who got shot in the past, was a completely different person. He now honestly scared Steve; sometimes, he felt his boss was an alien or something.
After their short conversation, Samuel exited the car and adjusted his suit. For this occasion, he was here with the proper attire. He took an Armani piece from his wardrobe, a navy blue suit with a dark red tie. With his sleek hair, he looked impeccable.
As expected, the ladies in the crowd instantly went mad over his looks.
"Wow"
"Omg, he is an angel! Is he really the one?"
" I think I am falling in love! Look at his eyes; they are shining; It definitely calling for me!"

Several shouts were calling him all kinds of names. It was so bad that the guys standing beside the ladies were embarrassed. They were here to intimidate him, not to fangirl over him!

" It's all just makeup! Can't you even see? You all should get glasses to help with your eyesight!"

Just as they were getting complacent, a group of people emerged from the crowd. It was Daniel and Mateo leading a few people and walking toward them. Daniel smiled, but Mateo was annoyed; it was his idea to call a few affiliates, but that all was ruined in an instant.

" Bah! Looks can only get you so far! We have so many people here; he must be scared on the inside!" Mateo replied.

By then, Daniel and his group had walked to Samuel's side. Two dozen people got off from the SUVs and approached Samuel's back.
Every single one of them was armed to the teeth with assault rifles that looked futuristic. They were definitely military-grade items that even Daniel had never held before. Not only that, but everyone had a cold demeanour; Daniel could tell from one look that they were veteran soldiers that had seen some deep shit.
Or else, how can you expect such a chilling presence? Such killing intent could only come from taking countless lives and repeated visits to hell holes on earth.
With two groups face to face, the atmosphere suddenly got tense; neither side was making any move, just sizing up one another, waiting for their leader to speak up.

He was curiously looking at Samuel with his big round eyes. After a moment, he pushed the small box toward Samuel; it was a Duvalín, a dual-flavoured, sticky pudding with a tiny spoon used to dig into the box.
" Are you giving it to me?" The boy nodded at Samuel's question.
" Why?"
" Give food a-angel, bring back t-tooth." The boy showed his missing tooth. Did he hear about him being an angel from the ladies?
" I see. I will accept it." Samuel kneeled down to receive his gift, but the because the small box was already slippery, it fell off and landed on his suit. The white and black liquid completely drenched the lower part of his expensive suit.
"Hiss..." Everyone took a breadth of cold air.
