Mika was barely containing her laughter. Her eyes were watery, and her face was turned red from trying to stop any giggles from leaving her mouth.

When Braeden turn back to Mika, he saw this picture of merriment on her face and felt like a damn fool.

Seeking to teach Mika a lesson, Braeden continued his line of questions.

"Why did you want to find this tree?"

"Hahaha....to fix it." Mika couldn't hold the laughter in any longer.

"Fix it?"

"En." Mika smiled in his face.

Braeden turned to his men, to see the same expression on their faces as he was sure as on his. Since they too were made fun of, they wanted to get Mika back as well.

"Okay, fix it....but if you can't, you'll have to clean all of our boots!" Braeden showcased his dirty caky boots for Mika to see.

"Okay...but if I am able to heal the tree, you and all of the men under your control will belong to me....not Prince Ailwin."

Braeden looked at the Mika and laughed.

"Sure, sure. No problem."

"Okay, let makes sure no one backs out..." Pointing to his wristband, Mika recorded their agreement, however, unbeknown to Braeden, she also sent the recording to Saavi's wristband.

"Alright, let's see you heal this dead tree."

"Stand back, give me some space."

Braeden moved to the very edge of the island the tree was on. Mika sat down in front of the tree across legged and prayed that this worked.

Closing her eyes, Mika reached out with both her hands and placed them on the trunk base of the tree. Letting her power flow without her body, then releasing it into the tree.

The minute she did, everyone could hear a loud crackling sound.

"Sir!" Thinking the giant tree was going to fall over, the men rushed to Braeden's side.

"Relax, it's not going to fall." Getting reassurance from their general, the men didn't try to drag him away to safety, but they also didn't leave his side.

From the time Mika released her powers, she had tune all outside noises out. Focusing only on the tree, she manipulated power, turning it into little nanorobots to penetrate deep into the tree's microstructure.

This idea had come to her when she was studying Analise's book.

If Analise could make the spirits, why can't I make something similar but smaller?

Using the science from her past and the gifts from her present, Mika was able to make her first generation of nanobots.

With the nanobots running through the tree's microstructure and sending back data. Mika was busy analyzing the information before thinking of the best solution.

An hour passed then two, without Mika moving a muscle.

Braeden began to worry. Did he push the girl too much? Is she sick from touching it?...

Dozen of thoughts and question were running through his head. When he couldn't take the suspense anymore, he charged to where Mika is sitting. Yet, before he could touch her, Mika's eyes snap open.

"I know what I need to do!"

Calling back her nanobots, Mika stood up from the ground and walked around the tree looking for a specific blemish.

"There you are!"

Finding the spot, Mika gather her power to form a fireball.

When all the men saw this, they could believe their eyes.

She is controlling violet fire!

Mika guided the fireball directly into the blemish, allowing the fire to create a niche in the tree. She did this several times.

When she was done, the tree had the appearance of swiss cheese. Finished, she dusted off her hands and looked at her work.

"Is this what you call 'fixed'?" When Braeden saw Mika using violet fire, he thought maybe he made a mistake, and this girl actually knows what she is doing. However, looking at the tree now, he once again felt like the joke was on him.

"No...not yet." Mika turned to the murky water, bent down and released her nanobots into the water. Having them isolate the pollution in the water.

Once again, Braeden and his men were shocked as they watched the dirt in the water start to accumulate to where Mika stood at the shore.

What the hell is going on!? This thought was running through all the men minds.

Once Mika saw the last of the murkiness gather in front of her, she used her gift of air and created a bubble to trap the pollution. Extracting it from the water, she then filled the bubble full of oxygen and used fire to burn it all to dust.

With the water now crystal clear, Mika walked back to the tree and placed her hands on its trunk once more.

Using her gift of the creation, Mika sent nutrients to start the healing process and to wake the tree up from its slumber.

Before everyone's eyes, the tree began to look more alive.

Mika stopped before, she put herself into another sleep coma. Pulling the pieces of cloths out of her nose, she smelled the air. It was much cleaner than it was before. Awhile longer and the odor will be entirely gone.

Yumsa, who had sat off to the side sick to her stomach, noticed the difference in the air as soon as Mika burned off pieces of the tree. Now, feeling like herself again, she flew to Mika side.

"You did, Mikaela!" Yumsa said as she took her place back on Mika's shoulder.

"En."

Turning around to face Braeden, Mika was greeted by his comical expression. It reminded her of the cartoon she used to watch in her past life, where the character would be so shocked that the bottom of their jaw would hit the ground.

"Now it's fixed."
