Nathan laughed and pinched her cheeks

"Of course I am, I am 3 and half after all"
her tiny voice caught the attention of everyone in the diner.
The stared at the handsome man and the beautiful woman and the cute girl in between
it was obvious they were a family, some people were taking pictures secretly.
"It seems everyone is staring at us" Nathan said smiling, he could vaguely guess what they were thinking
"Nah.....I think they are staring at Ella, she is just too adorable "
Shola's phone rang when Nathan was about to reply
she stared at the text and her eyes were now wide open
"Crap!, crap!" Shola quickly got up and grabbed her purse,
"What is it?"
"Uh....I have to get back to the studio, I'll call Joanna to pick up Ella" Shola said as she grabbed her phone and dialed the number
"No need Sholana, I'll take care of her till you're done with work"
Shola looked at Nathan and hesitated for a while before she nodded
Nathan smiled but soon he started receiving long lists
"She shouldn't eat more than one ice cream a day, her body can't handle too much sugar
she has to drink at least 3 glasses of water till I arrive
and you have to give her these pills at exactly 3pm
in case I close late she can stay at your place
you should make sure she doesn't come in contact with grapes, she's allergic to them
and....
As much as Nathan would hate to admit it, taking care of a child was hard, he memorized everything Shola said while looking at her in admiration.
"Do you understand? "
Nathan nodded "Yes ma'am"
Shola felt a burning sensation on her face, se almost forgot what it felt like when Nathan told her those words
"I.....I have to go now, here's my number and the address to my studio, if anything serious comes up, call me or just bring Ella over"
"Hmm"
"Bye bye mommy" Ella said waving her tiny hands
"Bye honey"
Shola knew deep down that she was scared of leaving Ella with Nathan but part of her trusted him.
She was his daughter anyways, they deserve some alone time together.
Shola got into her car and drove off.

"These designs are crappy, what do you think this is? a drawing competition?"
All of Jasmine's employees were all shivering because of her yells
She had never been satisfied with any body's work, she always complained.
The only problem is that people would have stood up to her but....she paid so damn well!
"Where is that stupid Sholana, she knows she's one hour late right!"
"Sorry Jasmine, I had some personal matters to take care of" Shola sad slightly panting as she walked into the studio
"What does your personal matters have to do with me?, all I want is that you come here as early as 1pm every day, stop being so lazy"
Shola gritted her teeth, she only hasn't insulted this woman because she's way older and she pays well...but she is so ungrateful and annoying.
Shola had been working there for 3 years as a designer but never has she been given credit for all of her designs. even though they are very famous, no one knows her.
Apart from taking all the credit, Jasmine frustrates every single on of her employees.
"Why are you still standing there like an idiot? get back to work!"
"Yes ma'am" Shola said with a forced smile

After 3 whole hour of working quietly madam Jasmine came back with her screams again....
"The new owner of the building is coming here, he coming to check out our branch and if he is satisfied with what he sees, I might actually get promoted so.....
you all better work harder!
if the owner gets disappointed I'm reducing your salaries!"
After say her piece she walked back into her office, not noticing the sneers behind her the moment she finished speaking.
"That b*tch, does she think we are robots?"
"Every time 'work hard , work hard', if not for the pay I would have left this job years ago"
"Yes,and besides, with all that heavy make up she puts on, we might all go blind one day"
Every burst into laughter, she really did look hideous because of her heavy make up.
Sholana laughed at her colleagues before focusing on her work.
She had already made up her mind to quit this job after 2 months anyways so she would try her best to endure that witch looking woman for now!
Her mind was still wandering, she wondered how Nathan was coping taking care of Ella, and if Ella was missing her
