Albert was the assistant commander of the Moonlight Legion. He was a level 53 fire-type soldier, and his sub-occupation was a blacksmith.

His hidden epic occupation was the flaming soldier. He had an epic bloodline, and furthermore, he possessed equipment that had been passed down his family. And he could even produce equipment. His dazzling equipment turned out to be more impressive than that of William’s.

Not only was he very powerful, he was also very muscular.

On the other hand, Legolas was the assistant commander of the Night Legion. He had reached level 55, and his hidden occupation was a gloom ranger. He had awakened the wind-type attribute, and his sub-occupation was a wind-type mage.

But this mage did not like using his magic skills. He was a pure ranger and had only learned magic for fun.

His close-combat, in particular, ability was outstanding. He would, occasionally, draw his sword that he carried around at all time and used it to deliver a fatal blow to his enemy. However, generally, he liked to use his bow to kill his enemies. Even if his enemy got close to him, he would still draw a bow and pierce through their head with the arrow.

Simply said,

Legolas did not use his magic and close-combat skills often, and the hidden occupation of gloom ranger was very impressive. He had countless other skills, such as combined shooting, midair consecutive shooting, rain of arrows, and so on. He could use his arrows to face many close-combat enemies with ease.

William’s remembered who this fellow was and his expression suddenly changed. Legolas, the Elfin prince and one of the main characters from the Lord of the Rings. The company that produced Gods was indeed very shameless!

As he pondered over it, he realized it. He had an Elfin prince, a Dwarf prince, and himself, an excellent Lord. Could they create a fellowship now?

As they traveled to their destination, William suddenly looked up to see the Snow Mountain of the East Sea. It was 13 thousand meters tall. He could not help but mutter to himself, “Now this, this is rather interesting. Alas! Odom is left back in the City of Dawn, and we are not destroying a ring either. We are going to slay a dragon, and come to think of it, this mountain is an extinct volcano.”

Legolas, who was just beside him, seemed to have heard something. He suddenly asked, “Lord, do you think that the Iron Nation is planning to slay the dragon?”

William nodded. His expression became a serious one. “That’s right. Augustine has brought two elite legions from the Iron Nation and many experts along with him. Their goal is likely to be that fire dragon. And our mission is to foil their plans.”

Albert understood. Then, he cheerily tried to curry favor. “Lord, you were able to guess their objective with just a bit of information. Your insight is not something we can compare ourselves to.”

“You can make a guess too. You just have to train your muscles and use your brain more!” William glanced at the two-meter tall Albert. Even though he was an elf, his build was hefty and solid. His shoulders, they were so broad that people could stand on them. It was potentially distressing…

In short, he definitely could not be called a normal Moonlight Elves. He even found it difficult to climb trees…

Albert did not comment on William’s words. He still felt that his Lord wanted him to give up on his occupation as a blacksmith. Thus, he pouted. “If I cannot work on iron, there is no meaning.”

As Albert finished speaking, he stole the maces from the Bloody Crusher and waved his arms. He started wildly training his biceps.

When the four-meter tall Troll saw his maces being waved in the air, his eye twitched. He decided to not ask for his weapon back. He was a slave, after all, and Albert would eventually return his weapon when he would get tired of it anyway.

Eric remained silent throughout the entire journey, as usual.

Alec had led the scouts to explore the path ahead of them and check for any possible traps in their route.

It was such a freakish party. William was a legendary boss that led four epic bosses, a level 66 master Troll, and 2000 elites. He was extremely confident in his chances to earn all kinds of benefits from this battle.

Three full days had passed since Augustine led the two legions to the Snow Mountain of the East Sea.

Neglecting a few short rests along the way, they had almost rushed through the whole journey.

Augustine had obtained all the information. From when the military fortress first discovered the enemies to when the military fortress had been broken through and was lost to enemy troops.

But it was precisely because of this that he did not send his troops back.

If he did, he would be facing a Dawn Army full of might. And whether it resulted in a loss or a win, the Iron Army would face heavy injuries in any case.

Augustine did not know whether the Dawn Army would pursue them. If so, he did not know how many people would then come either. He did not even have knowledge of whether William knew about his plans to slay the dragon.

But what mattered was that, if Dawn Army chose to pursue, their power would weaken due to a few days of continuous traveling.

In that case, when they started to fight, the outcome would be uncertain.

And If the Dawn Army did not chase them, he would bring back the corpse of the dragon in victory.

Furthermore, he would be returning with the troops from the Iron Nation. He did not believe that they would not be able to take back the military fortress with help from two legions.

If they took back the military fortress, the City of Dawn, which did not dare to split up their troops, would completely fall.

So close, yet so far. But this was true.

Augustine had chosen a route that was difficult to travel on. He had avoided the route that was easier to walk on, as many clans under the Giant Dragon lived there. It would be best for him if these clans could be avoided.

Although the people under the Giant Dragon might not be loyal, it was possible that they may face a fight amongst this journey. And, he did not want to waste combat power on eliminating them.

Slaying the dragon was the key.

If they could avoid its people with the help of another way, then they would gladly change directions.

The dragon might have planted spies too!

The sky slowly turned dark.

Augustine and his team continued to travel. When the second moon appeared in the sky, he issued a command for his troops to take a rest. They could eat and drink, as long as they did not cause a commotion.

But suddenly,

He suddenly heard a mysterious sound.

Augustine narrowed his eyes. He abandoned his subordinates and walked alone into the forest.

He stretched out and pushed away the trees in front of him, and a figure dressed in black suddenly appeared in front of him.

Augustine was not shocked. He broke into a grin. “Makhu Redd! Long time no see.”

The figure was wearing black magical robe. He was the mastermind behind the Devil’s Den, Makhu Redd.

He raised his head, and his green eyes sparkled. “Yes a long time indeed. Five years, but you have finally come. I had thought that you had given up on your plans to slay the dragon.”

“And I heard that you have relied on that Fire Dragon for many years. With your abilities, haven’t you been able to offer it as a sacrifice?” Augustine was well aware that Makhu Redd was much greedier than what people thought of him.

If he had the ability to sacrifice the dragon, he would not even think of cooperating with them.

Furthermore, they had already come to an agreement.

As long as they successfully slew the dragon.

Makhu Redd would obtain the soul of the Giant Dragon.

Augustine and the rest would obtain the corpse of the Giant Dragon.

At a glance, it would seem as if Augustine stood to earn more benefits. But to a dark warlock, the soul of a Giant Dragon was more valuable.

The two of them got closer in the dark forest. They turned and walked deeper into the forest.

Other than the distant sounds of discussion, there were only sounds of laughter…

No one knew what they were scheming.
