263 Chance Encounter
In the secretariat, everyone was staring in Shen Yin’s direction as she left.
She had left too quickly and they did not have a chance to see what the future Madam President looked like. However, from her figure and temperament, she must be a beauty.
Just as they were gossiping, they saw Zhong Xin push the door open and enter the office to see the President.
Lian Jing loosened his tie. The heat in his eyes had not yet faded. He glared fiercely at the person who suddenly entered. Seeing that it was not Shen Yin, he lowered his eyes and put on a calm expression. “Who asked you to come in?”
“Ah, I…” Zhong Xin was shocked by the President’s fierce gaze. His heart skipped a beat. His intuition told him that the conflict between the President and Miss Shen was no small matter. On the brink of tears, he glanced at the lunch boxes on the table that had already been packed up and found an excuse. “I’m here to clean up the coffee table. I’ll wash these lunch boxes first.”
“Okay.” Lian Jing stood up and walked back to his desk. He glanced coldly at the secretary who bent down to pick up the lunch boxes.
Zhong Xin felt a chill shoot down his spine. He stood up stiffly and said, “President Lian, do you have any other instructions?”
Lian Jing looked at him in confusion. He seemed to be thinking about something and suddenly ordered, “Prepare something for me and send it back to the Lian house. You must hand it to Shen Yin personally.”
On the first floor of Lian Corporation, Shen Yin finally calmed her erratic heartbeat and walked out of the elevator. She bumped into the receptionist at the front desk who was about to go for her lunch break.
The young lady seemed very happy to meet the future Madam President again. She followed beside her excitedly, casting all thoughts of her lunch aside. “Hello, Madam President! You’re leaving already? Next time, can you tell me how you fell in love with President Lian?”
They had been fervently discussing this incredible question for the entire afternoon, but they could not come to a conclusion.
The President was so icy and disliked women to the extent that he only brought his male secretary out, and had a group of male secretaries in the secretariat. It was unbeliable that he would openly date a woman!
Before Shen Yin appeared, they had been secretly discussing if the President was normal!
While they admired Shen Yin’s brilliant methods, they also wanted to learn a few moves from her. If they learned her methods, they might be able to find a handsome and rich man to marry.
Shen Yin was stumped by her question and nodded awkwardly. “Okay, see you next time.”
“Okay!” The young lady waved at her back innocently. “Goodbye, Madam President!”
Shen Yin finally relaxed when she left Lian Corporation.
The driver who sent her here had already left, and Shen Yin did not want to go back so early. She did not want to waste a rare off day, so she got a taxi and went to a nearby mall to stroll around.
When she arrived, she realized that there was actually a huge “Lian” flashing beside the name of the mall. Shen Yin’s face instantly turned red, but she still braced herself and walked in.
When she was overseas, she was used to raising Nian Nian alone, so she did not feel lonely when she went shopping alone. However, of late, Lian Jing kept her company all the time, so it was inevitable that she felt at a loss when he was not beside her.

Cheng Luo smiled in understanding. Then, she reached out to push his brother and rebuked, “Hurry up and buy two cups of milk tea for Yin Yin and I. We’ll wait for you here.”
“There’s no need. I was just about to go home.” The last time she saw Cheng Huo was when he and Lian Jing had fought over a misunderstanding. Shen Yin did not want to fall out with Lian Jing because of these two again, so she tried to leave the moment she saw Cheng Huo.

I was worried that he would end up with depression, so I brought him out today.”
