She could smell the strong smell of smoke. She sighed heavily and sat beside him. “Brother, go and sleep for a while. Leave this to me.”
Lian Jing shook his head silently. He wanted to ask Lian Meng if Shen Nian had said anything to her last night and if he had said that Shen Yin was going to take him away.
However, he could not bring himself to articulate these questions. All he felt was a strong sense of helplessness. He had already regained his rationality after last night’s fit of frustration. Instead of forcing the child to relent, it would better for him to find Shen Yin himself.
His cell phone was almost out of battery. He picked up the charger and plugged it in. He continued to call Shen Yin’s cell phone over and over again.
Lian Meng also felt anxious as she watched him.
However, she did not dare to tell him that Shen Nian was going to bring her to see Shen Yin today. She had not yet understood the situation. If she just told Lian Jing, she might end up making things worse. Then she would be at fault.

Most of the smoke in the living room had dissipated, but it was still stifling.
Shen Nian sniffed unhappily and looked at Zhong Xin, who was seriously sleep deprived. He frowned and advised, “Uncle Zhong, you should rest too. Auntie and I will go to the places Mom frequents to try our luck. I will call you if we see her.”
When Zhong Xin saw the young master come downstairs, he hurriedly put down his computer and stood up. He nodded respectfully and said, “Alright, be careful when you go out. If there’s any news, get Miss Lian to call me.”
“Okay.” Shen Nian agreed coolly. Then, without even looking at him, he led Lian Meng to the car and showed her Shen Yin’s current location.

“Yin Yin.” Cheng Huo gently peeled an egg for her and placed it in her bowl. “Eat. I’ll bring you to buy some daily necessities later. Although I have everything at home, I’m afraid you won’t be used to them.”
