The vault reeked off with mana.

Mana wasn't something one would feel repulsive to, and yet everyone from Reylin's team felt like vomiting from how overbearing it was.

That mana conveyed the ascended's emotions.

That pride of being humans who had reached their own unique mana was clearly felt by all who had stepped in.

But that pride didn't please anyone. The residents from Reylin's side felt the same as the players, and it just disappointed them more.

"They really aren't pressured enough," Reylin sneered.

He stepped a few steps further, looking around the vault. His Crimson Dragon turned into a small lizard that hung on his arm.

Following him was Crown Liam, who also cautiously looked through the vault.

Both brothers were confident in their abilities, but overconfidence was the cause of many disasters. They looked forward to the vault's insides.

It looked like the senate floor.

All those chairs were empty, and silence prevailed. That quickly took a turn after a fat man appeared on the podium.

His eyes rose, and he smiled at Reylin.

Naturally, that smile was an arrogant one.

"This is our first time meeting face to face, Crimson Dragon. Take a seat," Changnam gestured to everyone to take a seat.

Reylin replied, "I'd rather stand."

"Whatever," Changnam's attitude quickly changed. He dug his little finger in his nose, then rolled his eyes as if he found this whole scenario weird.

Weird, it was.

Everyone looked at Changnam with squinted eyes. Many closed their eyes after he took out something disgusting from his nose.

Changnam eyed that and said, "Oh, a crusty dragon." He then ate his finding.

A vein popped on Reylin's temple after he'd heard those words. His hands unconsciously clenched, and a few sparks snapped around his fists.

He didn't move and kept composure, however.

Changnam took a seat instead, "Let me show you what you are up against, Crown Dragon."

A screen appeared behind Changnam's back. That screen showcased the world from the past.

It was a journey far to the past, actually.

That world was much different, with terrifying wars going on. Those wars weren't about the territories only. People fought because they had various beliefs, cultures, and many different looks.

Humans were at the bottom.

They were used as cannon fodder for many different races.

"Due to our adapting ability, all found some usage for us. If a human was useless, they could still do as breeding cows. If a man was useless, well, his fate was to be just a sacrificial shield," Changnam shrugged.

Various images of humanity's disastrous fate flashed on that screen.

All saw scenes that shouldn't appear in the game... Those scenes contained blatant cruelty and evident racism. It was so hard to listen to each scene, but all from Reylin's side endured and kept their eyes wide open.

At last, Changnam waved his hand, "And that's when they stepped in!"

The screen changed a few times again.

However, it displayed heroic scene after scene. Those scenes contained existences known as the ascended. They were in their youths, and no one wore confident and arrogant expressions...

"Except one fuck known as Changnam," Reylin said.

Changnam acted as if he didn't hear those words.

In the beginning, the ascended were indeed worthy of their title. They gained their new mana, their techniques rose and saved countless humans.

Their power gave them the highest status, and all humans revered them. Many kingdoms rose under their lead, then their fame spread wide and far, turning into belief.

At last, the ascended became similar to gods, and their complacency broke heavens.

"The first ascended I am going to introduce is obviously Milkyona. That's because Crimson Dragon already had a talk with her and even shared some vodka," Changnam teased, then the screen flashed.

He showed the volcanoes appearing throughout the world. Those volcanoes came due to Milkyona's wish, and they all rendered many races speechless. Lava Avalanches befall all humanity's enemies.

That beautiful red-haired woman etched her appearance in many players and residents. She was just a gorgeous hot woman.

The second ascended was known as Adas.

"We know him," Crown Liam said while his finger drove his glasses closer to his face.

"Indeed," Reylin replied.

Adas was the man who had appeared on the first game's stream. A man with white hair and green eyebrows. His presentation had already a haughty image of his, and his forte was snow and coldness.

His snow blocked the vision of many enemies, and his blades became silent blades within snowstorms!

The third ascended was known as Mayra. She was the water ascended, her rain bringing flood to the wars. One couldn't move well in her presence.

Her looks were naturally stunning, and her water mana gave her an overly severe aura.

Other ascended were as such, "Yuren, Earth Shield. Wojter, Wind Whisper. Ridin, Thunder Roar."

Changnam called them all out, then added, "And I am Changnam, the trickster! We are the Ascended! Humans breathe in this world due to Wojter training hard to get his mana! People can use fire due to Milkyona's ridiculous and harsh training! Water flows because Mayra cried enough for humans! You can plant flowers and seeds for food due to Yuren's wish for your goodwill! Snow falls to protect the world! Thunder... Thunder..."

"You actually didn't know what to say about snow, so you spat some bullshit about protecting the world. And yeah... What does a thundering roar do to humans? Other than scaring the shit out of them and costing the villager's houses?" Reylin sneered.

He added while enjoying Changnam's trembling, "The Trickster too... How dare you call yourself the ascended? You are just a fucking trickster who tricked his way to the ascended ranks. You aren't really a role model! Hahaha!"

"Hahaha!" All from Reylin's side laughed in tandem.

Reylin flicked his fingers, "You make it sound as if humans couldn't live before without you. I am sure they fought. They fought even if there was no hope for them. Once that hope appeared, they supported you with all they had, only for all of you to get too much ego."

"Crown Dragon," Changnam said through teeth, "We won't give you our world. You got your continent from us because we believed you could become one of us. If this presentation doesn't convince you, then you shall experience it with your own body!"

[The Ascended, Changnam, has used the Trickster's Divine Treasure.]

[You can't repel the treasure's effects.]

[You are being teleported to the past.]

"Before you teleport us, let me tell you one thing, fat fuck," Reylin arched his head back, "This vault's mana will belong to me. Ah, and the second, less significant thing... You gave me nothing, dogs."

Reylin and his team disappeared from the vault.

Changnam's body dropped onto the ground, "I was forced to use this! My only and only genuine treasure! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

Another voice rang out within the vault, "This continent's mana is gone, huh... Now that the Crimson Dragon is sealed in the past, we can focus on bringing our avatars to the Faynom World."

"Will it work?" Changnam asked as he had a few suspicions about this project...

"It will... If we lack people, we can only create our genuine clones," A voice replied with confidence, "And we have successfully copied Crimson Dragon's beast origins. Perfect for our clones."
