Episode 51.

[Dungeon Clear]

[Time Required 3:54:22]

[Defeated 856 skeletons, 61 races, 1 Banshee, 1 Ghast]

[Achieved special achievement “Secret Seeker”]

[Additional reward: Player Skill Acquisition – Intuition (Passive)]

[The raw ability is integrated into the skill. Intuition Skill has become Lv.8.]

“My hammer is…”

[Clear Rank-EX]

[Additional reward: Opal Pendulum Acquisition]

[Experience calculation completed. Player’s level has risen by 9.]

“More than that, my hammer has handsomely transformed!”

He wasn’t concerned whether his body or soul reached another level, acquired a new passive skill, or combined his superhuman ability with that new skill, creating the most eye-blinding whatever. Jung Si-woo was solely focused on that hammer.

“Despite it being a test dungeon, in the end, it gave me this artifact…”

“I didn’t imagine it would be an evolutionary artifact.”

The handle was longer than before, and the head was smaller as the outer part fell off, but the black metal was anything but usual. Its form closely resembled a giant wolf’s claw and was as sharp as well.

You could stab a specific point with the sharp part, and with the flat side, you could strike a larger area. If there were an enlargement option added, his hammer would be unstoppable! Jung Si-woo had a satisfied smile as he touched the pointed toenail portion.

“But this means our original plans will naturally be discarded.”

“As the artifact’s level itself improved, the proficiency also increased. There may be another evolution after this.”

Jung Si-woo’s original plan was to max the Black Wolf’s Paw’s proficiency for combining the Giant’s Scream. However, this was no longer an option with the level and proficiency increasing so dramatically.

All he had now was two C++ grade weapons. If he had not received the Giant’s Scream, there would be no need to worry about weapons! After contemplating the two weapons side by side, he had an excellent answer that would mimic King Solomon’s.

“Okay, this being the case, I have no choice but to rampage with a hammer in each hand!”

“Oppa, you’re not some kind of giant! Even they wouldn’t rampage around with these huge hammers in their hands!”

As a test, Jung Si-woo held the Giant Black Wolf’s Paw in his left hand and the Giant’s Scream in his right hand and tried to swing back and forth. The results were extremely satisfying.

The destructive power that would come from an ordinary player swinging the hammer, with both hands in full force, came quickly to Jung Si-woo, who held it in one swinging casually. If he gave mana to his bicep, the results would be on another level!

“Good, I got the gist of it.”

The two weapons had different centers of gravity, which would be annoying to hold. But if you were to use the fact that each had its weight, it seemed like you could create a more dynamic movement. This aspect fit Jung Si-woo, who could handle using immense force to create something bigger and better without being drained.

“This is more than a Giant’s…”

“This is an idea beyond imagination….”

“I wonder if it’s going to be adaptation practice for now.”

Even Jung Si-woo didn’t have the experience of raging with a weapon in each hand. Still, the Heavy Weapon Battle Skill, which pulled out all of his innate talents and potential for his record, allowed him to move more naturally than his usual movements.

It was impossible to put into practice right now, but if he studied more on utilizing each weapon’s weight and characteristics, it could make an appearance soon.

“Si-woo Oppa, you can swing the hammer later. Check the reward first.”

“Oh, yeah, that’s right.”

After being so astounded by his weapon’s evolution, gaining new skills, leveling up, and receiving rewards became secondary. However, he wasn’t a teenage kid anymore; he needed to calm down and attend to his tasks.

Only after Jung Si-woo threw the two hammers into his inventory did he then scan himself. His body had changed, perhaps even more than the weapon.

[Jung Si-woo]

[Underground Player]

[Lv.75]

[Strength – 242 Agility – 246 Stamina – 260 Mana – 97]

[Resistance – Poison Lv.7, Flame Lv.4, Curse Lv.3]

[Passive Skills – Intuition Lv.8, Chaos Tail Lv.2, Courage of the Ignorant Lv.7, Soul Collect Lv.3, Dragon’s Dignity Lv.3, Heavy Weapon Battle Lv.3]

[Active Skill – Grant Lv.28, Slam Lv.25, Battle Sprint Lv.23, Critical Bullet Lv.5, War Cry Lv.6, Stone Skin Lv.9, Cruel Charge Lv.4]

The first thing he noticed was his level. Maybe it was because the Ghast’s level was higher than he thought, or the reward for finding the dungeon’s hidden mystery was more generous than expected. Previously when his level was lower, it only rose by 6, but it had risen by nine this time. In no time at all, he jumped to Level 75.

“Level 75…”

“It seems not too long ago since I met Oppa, but he’s already at Level 75…”

“He’s stronger than a Level 200 player. Hyeong-nim, how much stronger would you be when you break through Level 200? Thinking about it just makes me happy.”

An ordinary player would have passed out if they jumped as many levels, unable to withstand the immediate changes in their body and soul. Thankfully, Jung Si-woo was born with a naturally tough body, and due to the effect of the Drops of Heavenly Spirit, he learned how to manage his body and mana. He felt like there would be no problem even if he were to jump 100 Levels. Of course, he would need some coordination of sorts.

Not only did his level change, but there were also noticeable changes in his skills. In clearing the dungeon, many of the skills rose at least a level or two during the confrontation with the boss. From those, the most notable was the Intuition Skill that he had acquired as an achievement reward.

[Intuition Lv.8]

[The sixth sense that comes from the five senses. One feels what one shouldn’t be able to feel.]

The description of the skill was straightforward. The peculiar part was the level.

No matter how big your achievements were, the skill level doesn’t typically increase when the skill is born. However, since Jung Si-woo already had similar abilities to his Intuition Skill, his record influenced the skill straight to Level 8.

Physically as well, Jung Si-woo accepted this new change within his body as if he had already possessed it. Of course, he had no problem navigating it as well. It felt as if his ambiguous power and invisible power had now materialized with this opportunity. There was no doubt that its power had become even stronger.

“The most surprising part is that you were born with Intuition. I recognized it first when you could feel the monster’s presence and detect traps in the test dungeon….”

“If my Intuition can be reborn as a passive skill, wouldn’t turning my five senses to a passive skill be an easy task?”

“Oh my God.”

A terrible idea that no one had ever thought came out of Jung Si-woo’s mouth.

“Isn’t the condition of a passive skill that I’m completely comfortable using it and I can implement it with mana in application? Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch, Taste… Hmmm, seems doable.”

“That’s even scarier!”

It was Soo Ah-rin’s first time even seeing the Intuition Skill. But Jung Si-woo was there, proclaiming that he would turn the five senses into skills! The scary part was that it seemed possible if it were him.

“Turning the five senses into skills will make you stronger… But wait until you have the leisure to use your mana. Now is not the time.”

“Sheesh.”

As each skill consumed five mana, he promised he would revisit this when he secured 25 more. He put aside the dream for now.

The last thing he checked was the Opal Pendulum that came as the clear reward.

[Opal Pendulum]

[Rank – B+]

[Proficiency – 0/500]

[It is said to have the ability to find hidden treasures. When mana is injected, it searches for nearby mana reactions, leading the owner.]

“Ah.”

The moment Jung Si-woo checked the artifact’s information, it came to him. This was an artifact associated with the Secret Douser!

Moreover, this pendulum had no limit on the number of uses. When the Secret Douser finds and reacts to the hidden element, then you could grant mana to the pendulum and find the secret!

“The Opal Pendulum was the biggest treasure in this dungeon. I couldn’t imagine we would get B+ grade artifacts in this dungeon. This is all thanks to the birth of Ghast.”

“So it is true that players who find hidden elements in dungeons get rewarded often with artifacts that enhance their abilities. Though I didn’t know Hyeong-nim would fall into that category…”

“It feels like I’m gradually getting used to the dungeons. This is good, very good.”

Jung Si-woo held the pendulum and looked around. In the ruined city, there was nothing left to do.

“Okay, then let’s go to the altar.”

“What else could you get from the altar?”

“Normal players tend to utilize the auction houses because the rewards from the dungeon are unsuitable for them, and or they repeat the same dungeon multiple times when things don’t go their way. Hyeong-nim has excellent luck.”

“Si-woo Oppa can’t use the auction houses and, if not for this instance, it would be hard for him to clear the same dungeon repeatedly. It’d be the end for us if he didn’t at least have luck.”

“What if… Ow!”

Jung Si-woo fed the kid angel and fairy one flick on the head each, then hurried toward the altar. The dungeon’s structure was the same as that of the first, so he was able to quickly reach the boss room’s altar through a familiar path.”

But.

“It seems way different than before? Did the altar fuse with something?”

“Uh… no?”

There was neither an altar of rewards emitting white light nor an altar of reinforcement emitting red light. Out of all the altars that Jung Si-woo had seen so far, it had the most massive build, as it sat there looking at them.

“Perhaps it is an altar of rewards that only appears when you clear the bonus stage…”

“There is no such Mini-Game-like thing… At least not in the Sky Castle.”

However, both Jung Si-woo and Soo Ah-rin already knew that you could not put the same standards on the Sky Castle and the Ant Cave. They slowly and carefully approached the altar.

Thankfully, a friendly little reminder appeared on Jung Si-woo’s retina as soon as he placed his hand on the altar.

[Altar of the Former]

[Based on the records so far, an Altar that opens a new path]

“For… mer…?”

Suddenly, Jung Si-woo remembered. All players earned their class by clearing the 10th Level dungeon.

Surely Jung Si-woo himself did not know how he would earn his class, as he only entered dungeons that he deemed difficult, rather than some ten levels.

“So it appeared in the form of an altar?”

“Oppa, a gate is appearing over the altar.”

When Jung Si-woo touched the altar, a gate covered with the light of a golden glow started forming above. It looked like an exit from the dungeon, something you would use to go outside the dungeon for some air, but its energy was different.

“Well, of course, it’s saying it won’t be that easy as offering a bead and earning my class.”

“Let’s just head in, Hyeong-nim.”

“Yes, we will. But…”

“But?”

Yong Se-ha was a little too excited because Jung Si-woo, who was already strong, had earned his class. Soo Ah-rin had vaguely grasped what Jung Si-woo was trying to say. She expected what came afterward.

“Then what about the Banshee and Ghast’s beads?”

“Uh…”

“Phew…”

Five minutes later, Jung Si-woo finally realized he couldn’t find the altar of white light, no matter how much he searched for it. With a glum face, he threw himself to the altar of gold.

A new world greeted him.
