I've Been Reincarnated into a Man-Eating Flower ~Revenge~ ~Till the Day I Eat Him~

Chapter 15: Battle on the thick fog board Part 2

I used my skill [duplicate] to create 4 villagers and equipped them with crossbows. For this time around, I create "Old Man" "Moderate Texture" "Bad Health Food" "Foie Gras"

<<Shuka>> (HP4600/4600 : TP 2100/2300)

Next, I set up my crossbow unit a safe distance away from the elf, and began to surround her.

It seems like I am able to move the villagers by moving their point to the desired location on the map.
During that time, the elf seems to have been using some form of rippling magic. My crossbow unit is within the range of the ripple but it doesn't seem to be alarming the elf.

The magic the elf was using was probably magic used for detecting animals. Since there was a dense fog, it doesn't seem like the detection magic pick up the villagers unless they were the line of sight

For the time being, I made the old man take the first strike. Commanding them also seemed to be relatively easy, I just had to specify the command and point and they were able to understand.

In order to not get into the Elf's detection, I set up the old man around 50 meters away from the elf before making him take a shot.

A blue light flies from the old man and toward the elf, later the words "HIT!" came up.

That must mean the old man's attack was successful, and the elf's HP went down to 2480/2580.

Right after the attack, The elf seems to have activated the ripple magic again, and all the red dots around the old man disappeared.

There were also red dots that were winged rabbits just outside of the 100-meter range of the ripple magic. The fact that the elf lost 100 MP from activating the ripple magic seems to mean that the magic costs it's directly influenced by the range of the ripple magic.

<<Elf, Mage>> (HP 2480/2580 : MP 2480/2580)

It seems like the elf is moving towards the old man. For now, I evacuated the old man. Since he has not attacked in a while, it doesn't seem like the elf is able to locate his precise location.

Now then, I should also set up another trap. I decided to set up a human scissor just ahead of the elf's path.

<<Shuka>> (HP 4600/4600 : TP 2000/2300)

After creating the trap, the trap marker appeared on the map.

The elf then walked right on top of the marker.

At that moment, human scissor was immediately activated. Right after, I activated poison mist and thorn cage in a succession, resulting in a "Dynamic Combo" display to show up, and also resulted in the Elf losing her health very quickly.

<<Elf, Mage>> (HP 200/2580 : MP 2450/2580)

Her health is in the red. Right after her health turned red I stopped my attacks. The reason why I didn't kill her is that if I did, I wouldn't be able to add her to my duplication list and the power of the elf will be especially useful later on.

Although I managed to reduce her HP, her MP is troublesome. This is because the MP allows her to receive unknown attacks.

---At that moment the Elf began to recover HP, By spending her MP, She was able to recover the same amount of Hp she spent.

If she uses her MP, then it'll be easier for me so there no problems now.

....or so I thought. The elf also was recovering MP at the same time. It seems like she is recovering MP 500 at a time and recovered a total of 2000 MP. Perhaps she is using  MP Potions?

<<elf, Mage>> (HP 2500/2580 : MP 2150/2580)

It seems like I miscalculated. Unless I find a way to remove all those MP Potions, I won't be able to reduce her MP.

Afterward, the Elf activated the ripple magic in a 500-meter radius, detecting and making the old man disappear.

Did she change her way of detecting others? If that happens, I'll be exposed.

After that was an exhausting battle  The elf is unable to move around in the Fog, which seems like an advantage for me but in reality, it's not because If I get too close to her, I'll be in trouble, making this battle very exhausting.

Additionally, the Elf being a Mage is just a pain in the ass. Since she is a Mage, she will favor long-ranged attacks, and because of that, I won't be able to use my strong skills such as Gekka Ranbu.

I just need to find a way to remove her MP Potion..
