"So, let us go", said Suhani and I nodded, Abhay was so quite all sudden as he was just smiling, 

Suhani pressed the doorbell, and we waited for mom to come and open the door, and after just one minute, the door gets open, and mom smiled as she saw us, 

There was a confused look on her face when her gaze fell on Abhay, 

"Mom, this is Abhay", I said and I was about to add something, but Suhani cut me off, 

"And he is my cousin, and friend too, he recently came here, actually he is new here, and I invited her for dinner to my home, but I completely forget that you specially invited me today, so I bring him with me, he likes homemade food so much, I hope you will not mind aunty", said Suhani with her most innocent face, 

"And any he is now Jhummi's good friend too, he is helping us with studies", Suhani added with a smiled, and seems like my mom was fully convinced, as she was nodding and smiling, 

"Of course baby, he is most welcome, and why would I mind, I am so happy that you take her with you, you did a good job", my mom said and pulled Abhay's cheeks, 

"Come inside fast", she said and welcomed us, and she closed the door behind us, I was hearing some noise of laughing and giggling, and one voice belongs to Neel, I could recognise it so well, and the other one was,

I was going to my room quickly but then I heard my mom was calling my name, 

"Jhummi, where are you going, dinner is on table baby", my mom said and I turned my face and smiled, 

"Yeah, I know mom, I going for freshening up, I will be back soon, till then please serve Abhay, he is hungry", I said and I ran to my room as Suhani was following me, 

"Hey, what happened, are you fine", Suhani asked me as she came inside and closed the door behind her, 

"I am fine, but why Ayan is here, I do not want to face him", I said and sat on the bed, 

"But how did you know he is here, I did not saw him", said Suhani, and I shared a look, 

"I heard his voice, I know it is him, how could he come here, I mean I know he and Neel are close friends now, but what he is doing with me, and still he has guts to come at my home, amazing, is not he", I said as I badly want to cry, but I control myself, 

"Jhummi, what is taking too long, come down fast, dinner is getting a cold baby", I heard my mom was yelling, 

"Yeah, we are coming in two minutes", Suhani replied on my behalf, 

"I do not want to go there, I can not face him", I said as I was hiding my face in my palms, I do not know why but I was feeling so down, 

I took a deep breath, and exhale it, Suhani is right, when he could behave as nothing happened, then I also can pretend that he is no one, now I will show him what is me, I promise I will make him regret, 

"I am coming in just two minutes", I said and Suhani nodded, I washed my face, and changed my clothes, 

I wore the same nightdress which Ayan gifted me, and I came out, Suhani was staring at me with full surprise, her facial expression was super, 

"Yeah, now are gonna rock it, that is like my girl, love you babe", said Suhani as she came and jumped on me, and hugged me, 

"Love you too babe, now I will show him what I am", I said and Suhani nodded smiling so hard, 

I combed my hair and applied my favourite lip gloss, which Ayan also liked so much, 

"You are looking so cute", Suhani said and I smirked a little, 

"You want to change your clothes", I asked and she shook her head, 

"Do not worry, I will change after dinner", she said and I nod, 

"Let us go then", I said and we both headed down, 

"Jhummi, what is this, your friend is waiting here and you both were not coming, what the hell you were doing", my mom yelled and we just smiled, 

As we entered into the kitchen Abhay gets up from his seat and pulled a chair for me, 

Ayan's eyes were stuck on mine, he was looking at me like he is seeing me for the first time, first, I was looking at him, but then he was not turning his gaze, and his stare was making me a little scared, so I turned my head, 

"What did take that long, I came the first time and this is how you leave your guest alone", said Abhay in a taunting way, and then he sat beside me, 

He was going for Suhani too, but she already sat down, 

My eyes fell on Ayan, and he was looking so angry, I mean there was a different kind of seriousness in his eyes, I just got scared a little, 

Probably I am first time seeing him this much angry, 

"Jhummi, you never shared anything about Abhay", Neel asked suddenly, and I just coughed, because I know I can not lie in front of Neel, 

"It is because he recently shifted here, Abhay is my cousin Neel, and now he is in our college, and also he is helping us with studies too", said Suhani and I released a sigh,

"Same here", said Ayan with a forced smile, I do not know I was getting a vibe that Ayan is burning in a rage, and that is so scary, but why, why the hell he is behaving like this, 

My mom came inside and she started serving the food to us, Suhani was not speaking anything as she was scrolling her phone and Abhay was doing the same, 

Neel was enjoying his food and using his phone, he was smiling continuously because I could see that he was chatting with Suhani, as I could see both were smiling and sharing looks, 

But Ayan he was staring at me, and then he was looking at Abhay with so much anger, I could not understand why the hell he is angry like this, 

"Suhani, put your phone aside and start eating, I made your favourite dishes to baby", my mom scolded Suhani and she put her phone aside on the table, and Abhay also put his phone aside, and that made me chuckle a little, 

"The aroma is yummy, I can not wait to eat", said Abhay in my ear as he came a little close, 

I laughed a little as I heard him, he is talking like a little kid, I completely forget about Ayan, but he did not forget, he was still looking at me with his red, angry eyes, 

"Who told you to wait, you can start eating stupid", I said and he nodded, 

We all started eating our food, and to be honest, it is the best food in the world, I am just loving it so much, 

"Aunty, why do not you open a cafe of a restaurant, the food is incredible, I mean I never had any food like this, this is the best food I ever had", said Abhay as he was eating so fast, 

"Slow down dear, it is hot, and you should not eat this fast", my mom scolded him and he laughed,
