Jhummi had an awesome day with Suhani. She went home and the first time her mother came to her and cares for her hair and congratulated her. Jhummi was shocked to see this, from past many years, her mother never cared about her, if she is fine or not, or even she exist or not. But today all sudden actions of her mother was hard to digest, yet she felt so overwhelmed, she was her mother after all, and every kid loves their mother no matter what."Take some rest, you must be tired", I'll make dinner for you, her mother said.
Jhummi thought she is having a dream, what happened all sudden to her mother, she never makes dinner for her." I already had my dinner, there is no need to make that for me", said Jhummi.
"Are you angry with me", her mother asked as she was leaving and Jhummi's foot stuck to the floor.
" Who cares if I am angry, you never did, I don't even remember when you cooked for me last time", now why all sudden you are being polite with me, said Jhummi having tears in her eyes.
"Can you forgive your mother, for being selfish and ungrateful all these years", said her mother holding her hand.
Her mother cupped her face and said, " please forgive me, my girl, I missed you so much, all these years I also suffered as you did, I was not happy to see you like that, I was just not brave enough to fight from your father".
As Jhummi heard her mother's confession, she couldn't control herself, she cried in her mother's arm, as Neel saw and heard all this, his eyes become wet and he was crying too. Her mother asked his forgiveness too.
It was like a family reunion, three of them were crying, they missed each other a lot.
Their mother kissed their for head and she made dinner too. Although Jhummi was not hungry, still after so many years her mother cooked for them, so she ate the food.
Neel hugged her sister, "I am so proud to have a sister like you, keep doing hard work, you will achieve your goals soon, I love you and if you ever need any help from me, I am always there for you", said Neel kissing her forehead.
They both went to their respective rooms, Neel changed in his boxers and went to sleep. Jhummi went to take a shower and she called Suhani. She was so happy and excited to tell Suhani all this, tears of happiness was in her eyes when she was telling her everything.
" I am so happy for you my baby, you deserve more than this, may God always keep you bless", now go to sleep, I'll see you tomorrow in college, said Suhani after listening to her story.
Okay baby, good night, love you, said Jhummi and cut the call, and went to sleep.
The next morning Jhummi woke up little late than usual, she checks the watch and shock to see that she is late for her college, yet she has to make breakfast too. She quickly went to take a shower and wore a plain blue knee-length one-piece, she finished her business and went down. Neel was having breakfast and her mother was serving to him.
As Jhummi went down her mother said, "come, my baby, have your breakfast or else you'll be late for your college".
Jhummi's heart overwhelmed by this, she craved so much for all this, and now when it's really happening, she can't believe it.
They had their breakfast peacefully, and Neel dropped Jhummi at her college.
Jhummi went inside the college and called Suhani, Hello, " where are you", asked Jhummi.
"Sorry baby, I'll be there in some time, my car broke down, so I was just waiting for a cab, you go attend first class, then I'll see you, said Suhani.
" What I'll do in the classroom without you", said Jhummi and laughed, okay come fast, I am waiting for you she continued.
Jhummi went to attend her lecture and sat in the second row. Why today is so rush in the classroom, Jhummi thought, the whole class was full, so Jhummi reserve the seat near her for Suhani.
Just five minutes were left for class, Suhani didn't come yet, just before the teacher was entering into the classroom, Ayan entered when he roams his gaze, he couldn't find any seat, his gaze stuck on Jhummi's reserved seat, he went inside and sat on that seat.
"You can't sit here, this is a reserved seat, get up from here, said Jhummi.
" This is not a railway or train baby, you can't reserve seats here", said Ayan.
Jhummi got up from there and left the class.
She got really mad at him, she tries hard to ignore him, but he is taking her nerves, she is really angry with him, and this time she is not gonna forgive him easily, thought Jhummi.
Suhani was standing near her car, and she was waiting for her cab.
Neel was going to his college on the same road, where Suhani was standing. She was looking so pretty, like a cute doll, standing at the side of a road, thought Neel as he saw her.
Neel took his bike in Suhani's direction and stopped the bike in front of her, she got really surprised.
"What are you doing here Suhani?? Asked Neel removing his helmet.
Oh, it's you, its just my car broke down so I was waiting for the cab, said Suhani tucking her hair behind her ear.
"Were you expecting someone else", asked Neel in teasing tone.
"No, I was just saying, said Suhani trying hard not to blush.
"Okay I was just kidding, come Ill drop you college, Jhummi is waiting for you there.
"You are also going to your college, you'll be late if you'll drop me, its okay ill go in some time, don't get bothered because of me, said Suhani.
"Come on, it's not a big deal, and dropping your college, it could be never bothering for me, said Neel.
"Amm okay then, let's go, I'll call home, they will pick my car, said Suhani as she sat behind him on his bike.
