The company I work for was an old advertising agency.

In this age of the Internet, we earned our wage by working on event campaigns.

After finishing the morning’s work, I sat down and took a stretch.

Then a young female employee called out to me.

“Sasamiya-san! I’ve finished checking the figures in the document you asked for.”

It was Haruka Otozui, twenty-two years old, who almost made me jump out of my seat when she spoke to me with such excitement.

She was a junior colleague of mine whom I was in charge of training.

She was a cute career woman who was attractive, friendly and with peach blossom eyes.

Her hair was tied back in an updo, and she was dressed neatly in a suit, despite the heat of the season.

Her large breasts made her look like she was in pain, but she didn’t seem to mind.

Otozui, who was innocent and always expressed her emotions with all her might, was probably the complete opposite of the unsociable me.

She was like my natural enemy, coming at me with her inexhaustible energy.

“Yes, Otozui. If you want, why don’t we go have lunch together? I’ll buy you a drink.”

“Eh~?!! Is that okay?! Yay!!”

Otozumi hugged my arm and said, “Banzai.”

I felt her soft and big breasts on my arm, but Otozui was without a care.

“Come on. Get off me.”

“Ha~a~i”

Damn. She was usually very serious, but she was suddenly acting like a high school girl, which was annoying.

Before that, this girl.

You don’t see me as a man.

Because of my position as an educator, it was taboo for me to touch my younger colleagues, which was fine with me, …. but.

It’s quite sad … that they don’t see me as a man.

After leaving the office, I walked a bit and found a fancy cafe where I could eat.

“Okay, let’s go here.”

“Yes!”

We walked in and found an empty booth in the back, so we sat down facing each other.

The place was recommended by Yuika, I see.

It was a small place, but it certainly looked stylish and cozy.

Then Otozui smiled happily.

“Mmm-~fufu~♪”

“… what?”

“Betsuni~.”

“Say it. That’s disgusting.”

“I was just wondering if you still had the good luck charm I gave you the other day.”

“Oh. Here it is.”

When she said that, I put my hand on the breast pocket of my suit.

It was a good luck charm that I had gotten on Monday, and I guess she noticed that the cloth in my pocket was slightly raised.

“If your girlfriend finds out, she might get the wrong idea.”

“Of course not, for an unsociable guy like me. Anyway, thank you for taking the trouble to buy something for me.”

“Sasamiya-san has always helped me, and this is my way of returning the favor.”

She was definitely spinning her wheels1 now, but she was not a problematic employee.

When I first joined the company, I myself made mistakes and had help from my seniors.

Maybe it was because of this experience, but I didn’t feel like Otozui was a stranger to me.

“I wish you good luck on your next presentation.”

“I have one too. Ta-da!”

With a sound effect, Otozui took out her own good luck charm.

“Hihihi. Two for one, double the effect!”

But Otozui, …

What you had was a charm for success in love. The direction of the blessing was wrong. This kind of thing was typical of Otozui.

She was serious, but not too formal; and her energy was second to none.

It was no wonder she was popular with the male employees.

Maybe this was not a good match for me, who was unsociable …

However, Otozui suddenly murmured with an uneasy expression.

“Really, … I can’t wait to get back to work. …”

“… … What’s wrong?”

“Actually, ..I made the director angry again. He said there was a mistake in my paperwork. …”

“It’s natural to make mistakes in the beginning. Don’t worry about it.”

“Haha … When Sasamiya-san says it like that, it kind of helps me.”

Otozui forced a faint smile.

Shortly after joining the company, Otozui was called out by the department head for a minor mistake.

Most of the time, it would be like poking at a corner2.

The general manager was quite disliked in the company for not doing any work at all, but interfering in the work just because he felt like it.

However, since he was the son of the president, no one could oppose him.

If he was a nice man, he would be able to let it go lightly, but the serious Otozui would take it all personally.

I wanted to do something about it. …

Hmm? That’s right.

This development is in line with Yuika’s strategy, isn’t it? If that’s the case, if I can say something like a senior here, it should strengthen the trust between us.

Okay!

I straightened my posture to play the role of a reliable senior and looked her straight in the eyes.

“Otozui.”

“Yes?”

“I’ll do my best to protect you if you need anything. I’ve got your back.”

It seemed that the line I researched on my way to work, the one I wish cool guys would say, came in handy.

The basis of problem solving was information gathering.

I was aware that I couldn’t say anything clever, so I quickly searched on my phone.

It turns out that weaknesses can become strengths if you overcome them.

Hmm. It’s decided.

But Otozui covered her face, which had turned red all the way to the top of her head, with both hands, shaking and shaking.

“No ~oho~o~o~o~o~o!!”

She shouted and flapped her legs.

“What’s the matter, Otozui?”

“Sasamiya-san! Sasamiya-san wants me! What do you want to do with me?”

“New recruit training?”

“What kind of training eeee~~!! Nnngh~!!”

“You don’t like it?”

“I want more!”

“Which one is it?”
