Chapter 11 – Yo! (Part 4)
One week had passed after the distribution of dungeon conquest quest rewards. Shyan and his men rushed to check out two locations that matched the information we got from Lynx.
One of the locations was within the large inner forest of Ragnag and was located not too far from Camellia village and Magnolia village.
The members who participated in the previous quests have mostly dispersed and returned to their activities, while the beginners, some of them decided to rest while honing their crafting skills and some of them returned to their respective villages to meet their families after receiving the reward money from the previous quests.
As for me, during this week I made a place to be used as a secret warehouse utilizing the cave I met in the forest, going back and forth to the previous dungeon area to pick up the bonuses I got, most of which I still stored to be used as my training material as a craftsman.
Financially, with the rewards I earned and the stockpile of materials I have, I have more than enough for now, even after covering the cost of the items that I created for the previous dungeon expedition.
That experience the other day made me want to try new things even more.
Meanwhile, Ricardo had been quite busy and traveling a lot these days. He left the surveillance of the village to Silvet, and because of that, I could focus more on doing things that caught my attention without being distracted.
"Alright, for today let's focus on making some knives!"
"Oii Hyuga, someone's looking for you. "
Just as I was about to start work, I heard Leo calling me from outside and when I looked to see who was looking for me, I found Bjorn and Bokum had come to visit.
Today was their day off, so the two decided to see how I was doing in the village. Bjorn also brought gifts for me such as drinks and his wife's smoked meat.
We chatted and they shared some of their past and other topics. After they returned, I went back to what I was going to work on earlier, which was making knives and other utensils!
After working during the day, I still found time to study magic and mana control after that. On my days off, I occasionally met up with Yui and helped her collect medicinal plants.
Regarding medicinal plants that can be processed into potions, sealing techniques are also applied to the bottles to maintain their quality so that they can last longer, and Yui usually special orders those bottles from a craftsman in Rockaxe city.
In addition to meeting Yui, my goal is to ask for guidance from Paolo to learn about magic, and when I pay attention to him, Paolo has extensive knowledge, extraordinary mana control ability and his mana capacity feels quite large compared to me.
I was lucky to be able to get his guidance, especially since my hunch also said that he was not a mere ordinary person.
I still occasionally entered the forest to help the village guards with their patrols, while also acquiring materials for my study.
It's quiet days like this that are the most enjoyable and I can spend more time on simple, yet precious things.
