Chapter 18. Refreshing, and Then... (part 3)
That night, Yui approached me after we finished practicing.
"How are you doing?"
"I still have to prepare some things when I get home... "
"Don't push yourself, you should get enough rest too. ", we walked together that afternoon, after which Yui handed me a package. "This is your order. Thanks to the medicinal plants you brought, this time I was able to prepare more than before. "
As I looked at the contents of the package, there were some potions inside and instantly I sensed something behind us and just as I silently glanced over, Paolo was observing us from a distance.
This time I decided to ignore him and continued walking with Yui while talking. However, it seemed like this was eroding Paolo's patience even more, and suddenly a chunk of rock appeared in front of my feet and made me stumble. Yui is a good girl, and she's pretty, and she's smart, and she's... I know it might be a bit much for me to think this way of her, but because of those things, I like her even more. Although I doubt that what I feel will be returned, but at least every moment when I can be around her is a time that I need to be grateful for.
That night I couldn't sleep when I remembered what happened just now, the look in Yui's eyes and the expression on her face made my heart beat faster that night.
"Calm down Hyuga... You're not a young man anymore... But it feels like something is beating my heart inside. "

I took them out and let them move around as they pleased near me. I took out some more food for them and some of them had different appetites from one another.

One of these slimes is really active, and seeing it is quite soothing to my feelings, I guess... maybe...
