Side story : Hyuga 2
From the time I was a kid, I used to travel to various places, which is probably why I'm not like the other protagonists, who miss Japanese cuisine so much. I can easily get used to the food culture of a place, although I must admit, rice is still my favorite staple food.
In Rockaxe I was able to find rice brought in by merchants from other regions, although the price became quite expensive compared to wheat flour. This reason made me think that I would travel someday, of course, after I got Leo's recognition of my forging ability.
Before I could start my journey, the surprise that set my adventurous spirit on fire appeared and it was a dungeon!
Dungeons are the fantasy of gamers and fiction readers. A place where you can find treasures and fight, plus I'm currently a craftsman, beast materials are one of the necessary ingredients to hone my craftsman skills.
Unfortunately, on the other hand, my moment of leisure was interrupted by the guild master's decision, the old man deliberately put me in charge of the support squad and not only that, most of the support squad were rookies.
When I saw Rag and Jil's party my head hurt even more. With their abilities, it would be dangerous for them to enter the dungeon and to make matters worse, Rag's party joined the quest this time after hearing that I was in charge of the support squad.

Horned rabbit doesn't taste much different from the flavor of rabbit in my original world, except that the texture of the meat is better.
In short, if you really enjoy the flavor of the meat using only salt, you will feel the difference of each type. It's more like 'oh it tastes similar to meat in my original world' but when I actually taste it, there are slight differences that make it unique.
Orcs taste like pork, if you've ever heard of a three-layer section and beyond it's getting expensive and hard to come by. With orcs you can find quite a lot of four-layer and three-layer parts compared to the usual pork.
With this kind of meat diversity, it shows the breadth of culinary potential in this alternative world.
Mushrooms, fruits and wild plants in this forest that can be consumed are not many on the outer side, maybe if I go deeper I can find more. But according to information from merchants I know, the diversity of foodstuffs in this world is also quite a lot.
In addition to wild chicken and four wings chicken, when I explored the dungeon, I found another type of poultry meat, sharp sparrow! The size is almost as big as a chicken, the meat is chewy when bitten and not too fatty.
There is one type of meat that requires determination for me to eat it. Ok, in my old world there were a few occasions I ate it and that was because there were no other meat options at the time. Yes it's an animal I hate, a snake...
Big serpent, if you cut it yourself you'll get a decent amount of meat and... Ah! Alright I'll give it a try! Being in a different world is no longer the time for me to hesitate like this!
