The other men were startled by the shout. They look at the escaping man and couldn't help but despise him for being a coward. Suddenly, the escaping man's movement halted as he fell to the ground face first.
A sword was etched from his scalp all the way through his mouth.
The other men were startled as they traced the perpetrator of the attack. They then saw Nile with his tattered clothes hopping calmly towards the man who wanted to escape.

Croco and Maximo didn't waste the opportunity as they proceeded to take a life each. Maximo with a head smash, and Croco with a head pierce.
Nile arrived at the escaping man's dead body leisurely. He pulled the Katana from his head and swung it to the air, to remove the blood staining its blade.
It was at this time that the remaining people were awakened from their daze.
"Run!" One man shouted before dashing out in hysteria.
The six remaining survivors look around and couldn't help but gulp a mouthful of saliva after seeing the scene around them.
It was way worse than what they had experienced earlier facing the mutated animals and zombie pets inside the village.
Dead bodies were scattered around in different positions and locations. It was gruesome as they observed the missing heads and limbs of the dead bodies lying around.
Although the scene within the village earlier was the same with bodies lying around, it was not as gruesome as the scene before them.
Because of the heat of the battle, they didn't observe their surroundings clearly. They widened their eyes in shock as they just realized that they were now fucked up.
Their leader was gone. Their vice leader was gone. Their superiority in numbers was gone. There were now only six of them remaining in this place.
A place that is full of gruesome dead bodies.
They gulp a mouthful of saliva as all of them stared at the trio in front of them.
They then saw the man in the middle of the two animals pulling a slingshot leisurely.

The man released the slingshot and at the same time, they heard a splat in the distance.
They traced the sound and what they saw was the falling body of their comrade who just escaped. Half of the man's head was erased starting from the scalp all the way to his nose bridge.

They look at each other's eyes and as if a plan was made without speaking, they all escaped in three different directions.
